As Kimmy and Jake got back to the Smoffice, they arrived with the squad party in full swing. Kimmy went off to find Courtney and Olivia, while Jake got himself a drink along with Noah and Shayne. Courtney and Olivia then left, leaving Kimmy looking up at the night sky, contemplating what to do next.

Meanwhile...

With the music pounding away, Shayne and Jake were against Noah and Keith in a game of beer pong, with the former winning 4-2, and Jake even performing a trick shot with a flick of his hand and bouncing it off the rim of the cup and in the drink.

Shayne let out his now famous battle cry before he threw and just missed.

Noah & Keith: Ohhh!

Jake: Oh well, still got one in!

Then while Shayne went to the toilet, Noah and Keith took a shot each and they got both shots surprisingly in the cups.

Jake: So, how's this gonna work? We waiting for Shayne?

Noah: You're the new guy, drink both of them!

Everyone got involved, even Shayne when he emerged. Everyone except a lone Kimmy from outside, watching on as Jake then chugged down both beer glasses as if they were nothing.

As the night wore on, Kimmy tried drinking more and more to try and get all thoughts of Jake out of her mind, and it looked to have worked, as she had quite a few shots along with Courtney and Olivia, who were also quite tipsy. But as the night wore on, they also noticed one particular absentee from the party.

Courtney: Hey, have you guys seen Jake?

Olivia: Not since he and Shayne won beer pong, why?

Courtney: Cos nobody's seen him for the last hour or so.

Kimmy: Do you think he's okay?

Courtney: I hope so, would hate for anything to happen to him.

Olivia: Split up and look for him?

Kimmy: Agreed. Court, you take the ground floor, I'll check the second and Liv, you get the first.

The girls then split up and began their search for Jake, with Courtney searching the main reception area and every room on the bottom floor for him with no luck, and the same went for Olivia, who searched from top to bottom, and even went to the Smosh Games studio to try and look for him, but he wasn't there.

Courtney: Anything?

Olivia: Nope, you?

Courtney: Nothing. Wonder if Kimmy's had any luck...

Kimmy had searched all over the top floor and was about to give up when she saw a door slightly open, which led to the fire escape and the roof of the building. Cautiously, she slowly went up the stairs, and opened the top door to find Jake just leaning against the wall, drink in hand, engrossed in his own little world and listening to music. She shot Courtney and Olivia a quick text saying she found him, so they could go back to the party, and she also noticed he was looking up at the starry night sky with a shooting star going by. Closing her eyes and still not being noticed, she muttered her wish, before opening them again. She then nervously made her way towards Jake, and she managed to get his attention when he noticed a moving figure next to him waving their hand in front of him, so he took his earphones out.

Jake: Oh, hey Kimmy.

Kimmy: Hey Jake, you doing okay? Nobody's seen you for a while, you had us worried a little.

Jake: Oh, sorry about that. As much as I like parties, I do tend to get a little awkward after a bit, especially when there's alcohol involved.

Kimmy: Ahh, I see. Is that why you're up here by yourself?

Jake: Kinda. But it's mainly because I still haven't got over my grandad passing away. Besides Megan, he was all I had. He was just amazing. Would be able to fix things without a problem, taught me how to ride a bike when I was a kid and had the most incredible heart out of anyone I ever knew. Sometimes, when I'm alone, I look up at the night sky and think of him. I even sometimes see the shape of him thanks to the stars, and I see him waving at me...

As he carried on, Kimmy could not stop looking at him, and all thoughts that she had previously forgotten after about 5 or 6 shots with the girls came flooding back. When Jake finished his explanation, she swore she could have seen a stray tear come out of his eye, and that was all it took for her. She saw his hand on top of the wall and gently grabbed it and laced it between her fingers, but she didn't expect Jake to answer back by clutching her hand in his own grip. Completely flustered, Kimmy didn't know what to do next, so she just pulled Jake in for a hug, to which he immediately hugged back.

Kimmy: I dread to think what you're going through, especially having next to no family. Just remember everyone here is pretty much family - and if you ever need anything, I'll always be here.

Jake: Thanks, Kimmy, I really appreciate it.

They then released the hug and looked into each other's eyes for a minute, with Jake even wiping a tear from Kimmy's face as she smiled tearfully, her emotions getting the best of her as she listened to Jake's sob story. But then, Kimmy decided she couldn't take it anymore. She gently clasped her hands around Jake's neck and pulled him towards her gently, and as their foreheads met, they both closed their eyes and pressed their lips together for arguably the sweetest kiss either of them would ever have, neither wanted this moment to end. After about a minute they pulled away from each other, Kimmy just smiled and without saying another word, she then headed back downstairs, leaving Jake both confused and flustered as to what had just happened.

Jake: What the hell...

As Kimmy got back to the party, she quickly got herself another shot with Courtney, now Olivia had been picked up by her boyfriend.

Courtney: So he was on the roof?

Kimmy: Yeah, was pretty bummed out about his family. I just listened to what he had to say and it made me so emotional, both of us ended up crying a little and we had a hug which felt amazing. And then...

Jake turned around and saw Courtney helping a very drunk Kimmy outside, so although he was quite drunk himself as he could barely walk in a straight line, he helped Courtney by grabbing Kimmy's free arm and putting it around his shoulders.

Courtney: So what were you doing out here?

Jake: Just waiting to get my Uber back, how about you?

Courtney: Well, someone's gotta help this drunken mess home.
