Another month had passed, and not only was it getting closer to Christmas, but 5 days before then, it would be the gender reveal for the twins. Courtney and Shayne had planned everything, which was ready to go at the office, including 2 confetti cannons with the gender colour inside and a similar styled cake, with it being either blue or pink on the inside. Damien had taken the liberty of picking up Megan from the airport as she admitted to Jake a few days ago that she wouldn't want to miss this moment for the world.

Megan: I'm so excited! I mean, if the babies are either boys, girls, or even one and the other, I'm so happy for Jake and also excited that I'm gonna be an aunt!

Damien: Everyone at the office is so happy for them, I have not seen them this excited in a long time!

Megan: I personally think the babies will be a boy and a girl, what do you think?

Damien: Ahh, see I'm kinda thinking maybe 2 boys, just got a gut feeling.

After a bit more chatting, the two arrived at the office, where everyone except Jake and Kimmy were setting up. But surprisingly, Megan could not take her eyes off Damien, with Courtney having to snap her out of it.

Courtney: Megan? Earth to Megan?!

Megan: Sorry, what did you say?

Courtney looked at what Megan was looking at, or rather... WHO she was looking at.

Courtney: Ohh, I see... you like Damien, don't you?

Megan: Shhh, not so loud!

Courtney: Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. But if I were you, just tell him how you feel, because I know the guy practically inside out and he won't wait forever.

Megan: I know, and besides, I'm only here until the New Year, so I don't really think it would work out anyway...

Courtney and Megan then shared a hug as they put the finishing touches on the decorations for the office. Meanwhile, Jake and Kimmy were on their way there now, and as they got there, Shayne was there to greet them outside.

Shayne: Hey guys, you excited?

Kimmy held Jake's hand tightly and rubbed her bump as Jake just had a smile on his face.

Jake: Yeah, cannot wait to find out!

Kimmy: I'm so excited!!!

Jake: She's been like this all morning, I have no words to describe it.

Shayne: Anyways, take these. And put them on when we leave the elevator.

He handed them a blindfold each, as everyone wanted the decorations for the reveal to be a surprise for them.

Kimmy: Fair enough, let's do this!

After they took the elevator to their floor, they put their blindfolds on and Shayne helped guide them to the office as everyone in there was dead silent.

Jake: Guys?

Kimmy: Can we take these off now?

Not getting an answer, they took off their blindfolds and everyone there yelled "Surprise!". Jake was just in awe of the transformation of the office, while Kimmy's hormones got the better of her as she couldn't hold back the smile or any of the tears that ran down her face. Courtney and Olivia hugged her, while Jake gave Shayne, Noah and everyone else a fist bump before they got the party started. Everyone split into groups, with Kimmy going with Courtney and Shayne, while Jake went with Noah, Megan, and Damien. While Noah and Damien went to get drinks, Megan pulled her brother aside.

Megan: So, I need your help with something.

Jake: Shoot.

Megan: I... I think I like someone. Like, 'like' someone, who's here right now.

Jake: Let me guess... you have a thing for Noah? Cos if you do, you're out of luck, he and Olivia are official!

Megan: Wow, seriously? Did not know that! But no, it's not Noah. It's Damien.

Jake: That's my sister, looking for a guy! If you want my opinion, just ask him if you want to go out sometime. He's a real nice and funny guy!

Megan: But I'm only here till the 2nd. Then I go back to the UK.

Jake thought about it for a bit before having a brainwave.

Jake: In that case, why don't you stay here? I mean, you can stay at my place till you get a house and job of your own or something.

Megan: Are you sure? I mean, I wouldn't want to impose or anything...

Ian: Who said you'd be imposing on anything?

Ian came over and patted them both on the shoulder.

Ian: Couldn't help overhearing your 'Damien' situation. Firstly, don't worry, I won't tell anyone. And secondly, getting a job wouldn't be that hard.

Megan: How so?

Ian: How would you fancy working with us?

Megan: You mean, working for Smosh?

Jake: Sounds like too good an opportunity if you ask me, sis. Go for it!

Megan: I don't... I mean... Yeah, okay then!

Ian: I'll email you the details tomorrow, and we can talk more about it then.

Megan: I'm speechless! I don't know what to say!

Ian: We'll allow you a couple of weeks after the New Year to get everything you need back in the UK, and we'll make it official come the end of January. Sound good?

Megan: Definitely!

As Megan went off to get some snacks, Jake pulled Ian aside.

Jake: Speaking of the end of January, me and Kimmy were thinking, and that's when she wants to go on maternity leave. I just wanted to run it by you first to see if it was okay.

Ian: No worries, you and her can take as much time as you want off!

Jake: Are you sure?

Ian: Absolutely. You and Kimmy are starting a family, and family should always come first, no matter what. Take as long as you need and come back when you're ready!

Jake gave Ian a bro hug.

Jake: Thanks, man. I appreciate it.

After an hour or so of mingling, it was now time for the big reveal. As everyone had casted their vote, they were now filming as Jake and Kimmy were handed the confetti cannons, and the two held hands before pulling the strings.

Kimmy: Here goes nothing...

Jake: Let's have a countdown, guys! 5... 4...

Everyone: 3... 2... 1...

The two pulled the strings and out came pink confetti from both of them.

Everyone: IT'S TWIN GIRLS!!!

Almost immediately, Kimmy was crying with tears of happiness as she and Jake embraced in a loving hug, with Jake even shedding a tear of his own as the cheers of everyone were drowned out by the two having their moment.

Jake: 2 little girls...

Kimmy: Oh my god... I can't believe it... our 2 little princesses...

Jake: Our 2 little angels.

Kimmy: I cannot wait until May.

As the two hugged everyone, Jake then hugged Megan as she was also in tears.

Megan: You are going to be an awesome aunt, I can tell.

???: Yeah, she'll be an awesome something, alright.

Everyone then turned to the sound of the voice, revealing it to be Hannah. They all had a surprising look on their faces, except Kimmy, Megan and Jake. Jake in particular, was not happy in the slightest. He went right up to Hannah and spoke to her.

Jake: What the hell are you doing here? I sure as hell didn't invite you.

Hannah: Well, as soon as I knew that your little slut over there and you, her little boytoy, were expecting a baby, or in this case, babies, I invited myself. I mean, I wouldn't want to miss this for the world.

Megan then noticed the look of pure rage on Jake's face.

Megan: Oh boy, that's not good.

Kimmy: What's not good?

Megan: Hannah just crossed the line. And Jake is not happy about it.

Jake then got right up in Hannah's face.

Jake: Call us that again. I dare you.

Hannah showed no signs of backing down.

Hannah: Or you'll do what? Hit me? You haven't got the balls...

Jake: You're right, maybe I won't hit you... but I know a few girls who just might.

As if on cue, Hannah was surrounded by Courtney, Olivia, Mari and Megan, who also all got up in Hannah's face. But the best reaction was saved for last from Kimmy, who also went face to face with Hannah.

Kimmy: I know exactly what this is. Pure and utter jealousy. You cannot stand seeing Jake with me, so you try and ruin our relationship at every chance. Well, newsflash, girl - it's not going to happen. The bond me and Jake have is unlike anything you will EVER experience with anyone. Because you're jealous that Jake has moved on with someone more caring, more trustworthy...

Kimmy got right up in Hannah's face for the last bit of her rant.

Kimmy: And DEFINITELY more attractive. So take a little something with you when you leave...

With Hannah still not budging, Kimmy took her chance and smacked her across the face, before backing off and side hugging Jake as Hannah now looked to have admitted defeat. But she did leave them with a cryptic message as she left.

Hannah: Things are not always what they seem, huh Jake? I learnt that lesson a long time ago from being with you... maybe you should do the same.

Jake: Yeah, yeah, yeah, heard it all before! Don't let the door hit your ass too hard on the way out!

As Hannah finally left, everyone then turned back to Kimmy and Jake, and, expecting something to happen, it did happen with Kimmy pulling Jake in for a kiss that didn't stop for a good 30 seconds.

Kimmy: Standing up to your ex like that takes a lot of guts, I'm proud of you.

Jake: Proud of me? I should be the one who's proud of you, smacking the taste out of her mouth! You did not hold back!

Kimmy: Well, after she threatened you and called us a slut and a boytoy, I couldn't just sit back and take it, I felt like I had to do something!

Jake: I'm glad you did, babe. Yet another reason why I love you.

Kimmy: And I love you too, my British idiot.

They kissed once more before rejoining their friends as if the interference from Hannah never happened, but Megan was a bit skeptical. With about half the people still there, Jake saw Megan by herself looking a bit despondant out in the back yard. Knowing his sister practically inside out, he cautiously approached her, as she was sitting down, looking up at the sky.

Jake: Hey, sis. Been looking for you.

Megan: Really? Sorry, didn't mean to disappear like that.

He joined her on the bench sitting down, and looking up at the sky.

Megan: I was just thinking about what Hannah said. Things not being what they seem.

Jake: Obviously trying desperately to stir things up to try and make me crawl back to her. But I know better than that, and it will take a lot more than whatever she has planned to cross me.

Megan let a small laugh escape.

Megan: Do you ever miss our family? Like, Mum, Dad... Grandad?

Jake: All the time. There was nobody quite like our old Grandad. The things he let us get away with... The stuff we got up to with him...

Megan: It's at times like this I wish he was still around, cos right now, I think we both need him more than ever. I mean, am I really ready to move out here and leave everything and everyone I know in the UK behind?

Jake: I would like to have asked him about what he thought about Kimmy being pregnant and about him having great grandkids, I would have loved to have seen the smile on his face when he would have been told.

Megan: I wonder what he'd say about me going for this job opportunity, it's practically starting a whole new life for me...

Jake then turned to her, with Megan still not taking much notice.

Jake: I'm gonna give you a bit of advice Grandad gave me about 2 months before he passed away. He told me that if you can dream it, you can do it. And you always told me you had dreamed of making it big in America - well, here's your opportunity!

With a more confident looking smile on her face, Megan looked back at Jake and hugged him.

Megan: Thank god I still have my big bro in my life... what would I do without you?!

Kimmy: I dread to think...

The two then noticed Kimmy standing in the doorway, watching the brother and sister hug it out.

Kimmy: Sorry for breaking up the moment. I was just wondering where my man had vanished to.

She went to side hug Jake, with Megan hugging him on the other side.

Kimmy: You two should be proud, because you're doing your family proud. I bet they're looking down on you now with smiles on their faces. Especially when you're starting a family of your own...

Megan: Yep, 2 baby girls to add soon!

The three then sat down on the bench and looked up at the sky, with smiles on their faces, deep in thought as to what their futures would hold.
