Camp (Frikey)
(Okay so I barely know anything about summer camp, I went to Christian summer camp, so idk if its any different? Anyway, this is gonna suck, I just needed to get this out and stuff)
"ALRIGHT GUYS WE'RE GOING TO THE LAKE! GRAB YOUR SWIMTRUNKS, I DO NOT WANNA SEE ANY OF YOUR ASSES!" Frank called from the cabin door, his co-camp counselor elbowing him in the ribs. "Ow! Mikey, chill."
"No cussing, that's your stike two today." Mikey said, holding up two fingers in front of his face. "I'm gonna wash out your mouth if we get to three."
"Okay, mom."
Mikey rolled his eyes, smiling a little as all the kids he had in his cabin came over. "Okay does everyone have everything? Swimsuit, T-shirt, towel? Everybody good?"
"Mikey, you're literally our mom." One of the kids, Elijah said, shaking his head a little.
"Yep we've got everything, Mr. Way!" Another kid said.
"For the last time, Devan, his name is Mikey, you don't need to call him Mr. Way, that's weird."
"Yeah, Dev, you don't have to call me mr, we're friends, and it's kinda weird to call your friends mr, just saying." Mikey said with a small smile, his eyes scanning over each of the kids. "Iero! Headcount!"
"Oh my gosh, Mikey, we seriously just left, we didn't leave anyone." Frank sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Just do it anyway, please?"
"Okay fine..." Frank said, quickly roll calling each of the eight boys he had in his cabin, all of them being accounted for. "We've got everyone."
"Where's Ethan?" Mikey asked, looking up worriedly at his co-counselor. "Oh wait...he went home right?"
"Yep, food poisoning." Devan chimed in as the cabin made their way to the lake, chucking all their towels on a nearby table.
"Let that be a life lesson to never eat the beef tacos, guys." Frank said, taking off his shirt while winking at Mikey, which caused the older boy to blush darkly, hiding his face with a towel.
"LAST ONE IN HAS TO CLEAN THE BATHROOMS!" One of the kids yelled, jumping into the lake, followed by everyone else rushing in. No one wanted to even look at the bathrooms, and the only reason cleaning it had ever come into play was because of Frank surprisingly being the one to chime in and say it looked like a bomb went off. Mikey had gone in to check, which sent him on a rant of "I don't even want to talk about the bathroom", and it was clear that having two clean freak counselors might be an annoying thing to put up with.
Mikey rolled his eyes as all of the kids in his cabin hurled themselves into the freezing cold lake, which made them all come up a few seconds later screaming. Frank was floating around on his back, waving at his co-counselor who waved back quickly, smiling happily to himself.
"Hey-o, Frank!" Elijah called, his hands cupped over his mouth so he would be louder. "You should jump into the lake off of the tree!"
Frank shook his head, looking at the tree a little ways away that was overhanging the water by a good few feet, judging the distance. "Why should I do it?"
"Cause the rest of us are way too tall!" One of the other kids called, splashing water into Mikey's face, which sent him spluttering, spitting out a mouthful of lake water, taking off his glasses. Frank rolled his eyes at the kids, swimming back over to the shore, looking up at Mikey.
"Are you okay?" He asked, grinning up at his co-counselor, who began blushing brightly, smiling also as he nodded.
"A little water never hurt anybody... and please don't tell me you're actually about to jump off of a tree." Mikey said, crossing his arms over his chest, acting like he was upset with the other boy in front of him.
"I miiiiight be planning on it, I've got a group of eight kids telling me to do it." Frank said, standing in front of Mikey, gently taking his glasses off of his face much to the taller boy's protesting, quickly wiping the water droplets off, handing the glasses back.
"If eight kids told you to jump off a cliff, would you?"
"Maybe?"
"Oh my gosh, you and peer pressure don't go well at all."
"You don't say."
"Frank...just please use your head for once in your life?" Mikey sighed, rubbing his temples as if he had a migraine from his co-leader in front of him.
"Why are you acting like I'm a disappointment?"
"Frank!" Mikey exclaimed, hitting his arm, huffing a little. "You aren't a disappointment, don't you ever say that again, Iero." His expression softened a bit as he saw Frank smile...damnit why did he always have to have the cutest smile in the entire world? Mikey quickly snapped himself out of his daze, spotting Frank climbing up a tree. "Oh heaven help me..."
The younger boys were yelling at Frank, cheering him on which wasn't helping Mikey's case, who was watching very worriedly, feeling himself start to panic. Frank held onto one of the tree branches over his head, standing on the one below him, taking a deep breath before doing a failed attempt of a backflip into the lake.
"FRANKIE!" Mikey nearly shrieked, his hand instantly going over his mouth. The other boys looked around at him, giving him a 'what's up with you' look.
"Did you just call him Frankie?" One of them asked, raising his eyebrows a little. Mikey rolled his eyes, sighing in relief as Frank swam back up to the surface, waving at him.
"Never do that ag-" Mikey began before a loud crack of thunder interrupted him, causing everyone to jump. The two almost-adults glanced at each other, almost communicating without saying a single word. Frank quickly got the kids out of the lake before it started to rain, Mikey making sure they had everyone and no one was near the water in case there would be lighting added to the mix.
The ten of them ran back to their cabin, getting even more wet because of the rain pouring down on them. As soon as they all got inside, everyone was shivering and dripping. Frank gave the orders for showers, laying down on the floor as each of the eight younger kids went to go fight over who took the first shower. Mikey lay down next to his co-counselor, smiling at him, his glasses starting to slip off his nose.
"Why'd you start wearing glasses again? They make you look nerdy." Frank said, smiling back at his friend, running his fingers over the black frames, his smile growing as he saw Mikey blush.
"I'm running low on contacts, my brother said he would drop some off for me when he came by though, which isn't for another two weeks...so I gotta conserve them." He replied, propping himself up on his elbows.
"I have some extras in case you need them."
"You wear contacts?"
"No, but I might have slipped out to get you some." Frank answered, grinning at his friend's shocked face. "Suprise."
"I got teamed up with the best guy ever..." Mikey mumbled softly. "Also the stupidest guy ever."
"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?"
"You jumped off a damn tree and scared the living hell out of me! You nearly gave me a heart attack, Frankie, you could have snapped your neck!"
"Oh just get married already, you two. You sound like my parents." Devan said, sitting down, rubbing his head with a towel, the other boys sitting down also. Mikey and Frank rolled their eyes in unison, sitting up a bit.
"Can we play truth or dare?" A kid named Will called, a few others chiming in, agreeing or suggesting something else.
"Sure, why the fuck not." Frank said, getting elbowed in the ribs for the second time that day. "Mikey, I swear I will cut your arm off if you do that again."
"I'm gonna cut your tongue out if you keep swearing." Mikey replied, turning back to the kids. "Yes, we can play truth or dare...um, Devan, you go first."
"Uh...Elijah! Truth or dare?"
"Dare!"
"I dare you to kick Drew in the-"
"No violence in this cabin!" Mikey called.
"Or else we get fired!" Frank added.
Devan sighed. "Fine, Elijah, I dare you to eat one of the stale chips under your bunk."
Elijah shuddered a bit, reaching under the bunkbed he shared with one of the other kids Caleb, finding the chips Devan had been talking about, screwing his eyes shut before putting them in his mouth, everyone else gagging or laughing as they watched. He also gagged, getting up to spit the food out. "Ugh...okay is it my turn?" He called out from the messy bathroom.
"Yeah it's your turn!"
"Okay...um, Mikey, truth or dare?"
Mikey thought for a moment, smiling a little. "Um, I pick....Frank Iero, don't you dare go outside in a lighting storm, sit the heck back down."
Frank sighed, stomping back over to Mikey, flopping onto his bunk, letting his head hang over the side, staring at the carpet. "This floor is nasty..." he commented, looking back up at the older boy. "Your turn, Mikes."
"I know, and I pick dare, we gotta keep things interesting."
"Okay then." Elijah said, giving Mikey a smirk as he leaned against the bathroom door. "I dare you to kiss Frank."
Mikey blinked a few times. "What?"
"Kiss Frank, the guy sitting next to you."
"Elijah, I swear I'm gonna-" Mikey began before his felt his head get pulled to the side at a slight angle, his chin now between two of Frank's tattooed fingers, the younger boy smiling at him before their lips were on each other's.
"Finally!" Devan exclaimed, the other boys fake gagging at them, Elijah commenting with "we get our own sex ed class at camp now", which lead to Frank chucking a water bottle at his head, somehow not breaking his kiss with Mikey, which the two of them were immensely enjoying.
They both broke away after a few more seconds, panting as they both blushed darkly. "I've wanted to so that all summer..." Frank said, giggling shyly, looking down at his bunk.
"Same, jeez you're a good kisser." Mikey said, leaning against Frank, sighing softly as he felt him run his fingers through his light hair. "I like you a lot, Frankie."
"I like you a lot too, Mikes." Frank said, kissing Mikey's cheek, grinning to himself. "I think this is gonna be my favorite year of summer camp yet."
(Yeah so that sucked, totally was not original with the truth or dare idea and it was terrible! So yeah, there's your update, peeps, love ya'll)
