Frank dropped off his beautiful children at school. The twins, Cherry and Lily, were in 4th grade and his son, Miles, was in kindergarten. The day these kids came into his life was the day he really started living. Everything he did was for his kids, he would do anything to make them happy. Frank was a single dad, but it didn't stop him from providing. He walked the three up to the school.

"I'll see you guys after school. Don't get into too much trouble today," Frank smiled. Cherry and Lily looked at each other. "I'm talking to you two!"

"Whatcha mean, dad?" Cherry asked with puppy dog eyes.

"I mean stop trying to find me a boyfriend or girlfriend. I don't know how many times I have to tell you that I can't date anyone who is in your grade. They have to be my age," Frank explained.

"What?" Lily whined. "They have to be old like you?"

Frank chuckled. "Yes, old like me."

"Fine," The twins huffed in unison. "Bye, Daddy!" They ran into the school.

Frank shook his head, still chuckling. He turned to Miles, who looked up at him curiously. Frank smirked and held out his fist. Miles bumped it with his own, grinning a toothy grin.

"Have fun, dude," Frank said. His son turned and ran into the school, decked out in his Smashing Pumpkins merch that he insisted his father get him ALL of.

Frank smiled sadly as his son disappeared into the school. His kids were his life, taking care of them was his life. When he couldn't take care of them, he felt empty. Nothing ever kept him busy enough. He'd been a single dad since Miles was two. He went on a few dates here and there, but no one ever stuck with him. Frank would often walk around the house, mumbling to himself about wanting a boyfriend or about a failed date he went on. That's how Lily and Cherry decided to try and get Frank a boyfriend. Problem was...they didn't quite grasp onto the concept of dating very well. The girls were always trying to hook Frank up with a boy their age. Today, that would change.

Lily and Cherry sat at their usual lunch table and started eating, discussing plans to set their father up on a date. They whispered into each other's ears so the other girls at the table would hear. But one little girl was very curious.

"What are you whispering about?" Bandit Way asked, talking food out of her lunch box.

Cherry turned and pushed her glasses up. "Nun-ya."

"Nun-ya, what?" Bandit furrowed her brows.

"Nun-ya business," The twins giggled.

"Oh, come on, please tell me," Bandit pouted. Lily shook her head. "I'll give you a cookie."

The Way child took out a little plastic bag which had two cookies in it. Lily's eyes widened, man she loved cookies. Cherry eyed the cookies as well.

"Both," Lily bargained. "You give us both the cookies and we'll tell you."

"Nuh-uh! My Dada made these last night," Bandit frowned.

"Then I guess you don't want to know," Cherry sang, snarkily.

"Ugh, fine," Bandit passed the bag over and Lily and Cherry beamed as they both took a cookie.

"So, Lil and I are trying to find a boyfriend for my dad," Cherry explained, munching on her cookie. "You're dad's a good baker."

"I know!" Bandit pouted, sad about not being able to eat her cookie. "But you're trying to find you dad a boyfriend?"

"Yup," Lily nodded. "He's lonely."

"My Dada's lonely too! He goes out every week 'on the town'," Bandit explained. "One time, a stranger came home with him and my uncle came and picked me up."

Cherry and Lily looked at each other, devious looks on their faces.

"How old is your dad?" Cherry asked.

"I dunno. Just old," Bandit responded.

"Our dad's should go on a date!" Lily exclaimed. Bandit's eyes lit up.

"That would be perfect!" She agreed. The three girls squealed. "What's your guys' phone number?"

"Um..." Cherry thought hard.

"I know it!" Lily said confidently. Bandit took out her notebook and Lily recited the Iero home phone number.

"I'll call you tonight and we can make plans," Bandit smiled, putting her notebook away.

They three girls spent the rest of the night gossiping and giggling over whatever 4th grade girls talk about. Cherry and Lily waited anxiously for the bell to ring. When it did, the twins grasped hands and sprinted out of the building where Frank was waiting. He smiled upon seeing them.

"How was school my princesses?" He asked.

"It was great! We fou-"

"We have a surprise for you later!" Cherry said after covering her sister's mouth.

Frank chuckled and looked back at the school, waiting for Miles. Cherry and Lily watched as Bandit took a man's hand. His hair was short and bright red. He looked kind of similar to Bandit. That must've been her dad! The girls turned back to each other and giggled. Frank looked down at them with a quirked eyebrow, but shook his head but a smile. Miles barreled out of the school and soon the Iero family was on their way home.

"Okay, so your dad likes music too?" Cherry asked quietly. Her and Lily were hiding in the coat closet while Frank was in the basement with Miles. They could hear the muffled sounds on random banging on the drum set.

"He loves it," Bandit said. "He's always singing, and sometimes he plays guitar."

"Our dad plays guitar too!" Lily yelled, a bit too loudly. Cherry hushed her violently.

"They're like soulmates," Bandit laughed on the other side. The twins giggled quietly.

"Cherry! Lily! Where are you guys?" Frank yelled from somewhere in the house.

"Wait right here, Bandit," Cherry said.

The two emerged from the closet, leaving the phone hidden in a shoe. The ran to the basement door where Frank was standing.

"What're you rascals doing?" Frank smiled.

"Just playing hide and seek," Cherry smiled back, sweetly.

"Okay, just checking in on you guys. I heard you talking and laughing though. Are you guys talking to someone on the phone?"

"We're setting you up on a date!" Lily exploded, slapping her hand over her mouth. Cherry whined next to her.

"It was suppose to be a surprise, Lil!"

Frank laughed. "Oh yeah? Is it that Marcus kid again?"

Nope," Lily shook her head.

"Is it Mr. Dun?" He asked. They shook their head. "Because he is married."

"It's no one from our school," Cherry said.

"Who is it then?" Frank questioned.

Lily pressed her lips together and ran back to the closet, getting the phone. She ran back to her father.

"Okay, so this is Bandit. Say hi, Bandit," Lily said.

"Hello!" She yelled through the phone.

"Hi, Bandit," Frank said into the receiver.

"We're setting you up with her dad," Lily explained. Frank looked shocked.

"Girls-"

"No! It's okay, Mr. Iero. My dad's single and he's looking for a boyfriend. You should totally go on a date with him," Bandit interrupted.

Frank tossed his head back with laughter. "You've out done yourself, ladies. Okay, Bandit. What's your dad's name?"

"Gerard Way," She answered.

"I'll talk to him. Maybe we can get you guys a babysitter, and you three can have a play-date while Mr. Way and I go on a date, yeah?"

"I wanna go too!" Miles shouted from the kitchen. Frank laughed.

"And Miles will go too."

Cherry, Lily, and Bandit all squealed at their success.

"Thanks Daddy!" The twins shrieked. They ran back to the closet and started gossiping with Bandit again.

"So let me get this straight," Gerard Way laughed. "You messaged me because our kids wanted you to?"

"Yes!" Frank grinned. "My daughters have been trying to get me a boyfriend forever, but I had to turn down all the 11 and 12 year olds they told me about."

Gerard face palmed. "My god, that sounds like Bandit. She did the same thing."

"Well, I'm glad they finally got it right," Frank said. "It seems like our date is going well, if I'm not mistaken."

"Totally. I'm so shocked at how similar we are. I mean, we're almost identical when it comes to music taste."

"We should start a rad dad band," Frank chuckled.

"You know what...that's not a horrible idea..."
