Prologue
There are many questions as to why Pokemon desire things. Everyone in life reacts differently to certain scenarios, and the study of it has been done in the most salvageable way possible.
However, studies can be more than just for the sake of science. There are certain cases for pleasure, curiosity, or even boredom. Hidden in the corners of the world, the shadow of morality starts another study out of morbid curiosity...the Frenzy Mansion.
Though...they have one step to complete beforehand.

???'s POV
A gentle breeze flushed through the row of trees waiting in front of me, the leaves swaying and brushing against each other in the wind. With this calming motion, I found myself gazing into the night sky, a beautiful pattern of stars and colo—
"Galant! Get back inside, boy, it's dark!" A rough, almost battle-scarred voice called from the inside of the house behind me.
As if I couldn't get two minutes of silence by myself, my father wanted me back inside.
My eyes scrolled down to gaze at my bladed arms. I had no clue what I—a very capable Gallade—was still doing in a house with my father.
I love him very much, but things have to change, and I'm definitely old enough to leave by now.
"Right..." I mumbled to myself, my stare rising to the long path ahead of me.
The moment I turned away from the road, I felt a strong presence shiver down my spine. With this, I immediately shift my attention towards the trees, now offering them a glare.
Everything around me swayed ever so slightly harsher than usual, and I felt myself raise an arm in preparation. My throat felt the need to call out to whoever was out there, but I managed to stop whenever I locked eye contact with a pair of scarlet red pupils.
In a matter of a few seconds, the darkness of every corner filled up with pairs of many-colored eyes, overwhelming the confidence of my retinas.
One breath is all I could take before the eyes dissipated...but so did my consciousness.

THIRD PERSON
With one conscious mind awoken, a chain reaction occurs, and suddenly a group of unknowing victims of a horrible disaster find themselves in a dark area, all separated by rooms.
One by one, each innocent soul rose groggily from the deep sleep, trudging their way near a door.
From the comfort of a living room came an overwhelming amount of noise coming from the large array of doors.
A loud crash was heard, and from the other side of one door came a dazed Gallade, holding onto the furniture for dear life.
"What the...hell..." His nearly shattered voice panted, a terrified gaze analyzing the room.
The interior was large enough to be considered a mansion, the roof littered with beautiful chandeliers and decoration, while the floor was spacious and organized with royalty-like chairs and tables.
That was the only minute the Gallade had to look before his attention was torn to another door next to him.
From the other side calmly opened a reserved Zoroark, her shy gaze immediately locking with the psychic-fighting type's confused one.
"Am I...dreaming?" The feminine dark-type uttered, her voice sweet yet silky.
"I don't think so..." The Gallade muttered. "Just...remember your name. That's the most important part right now."
"Loki..." The Zoroark hummed, placing a curious claw against her chin. "You are?"
Hesitantly, the bladed Pokemon huffed. "Galant...I'm trusting you for now...and I'm going to look for a way ou—"
Completely catching Galant off guard, another door seemed to open with a tall, fit Blaziken angrily making his way through.
"Aye, man. What the fuck is going on here?" The fire-type hissed, his voice filled with baritone power and a hint of street language.
"We don't know either." Galant seemed to back away from the angered bird, his eyes now clouded with caution. "But I don't care, I'm leaving to find a way out."
Once again, just as the Gallade dared to move, another door gracefully opened.
"Hello?" Another baritone voice spoke, yet this one was smooth and humble. Everyone's eyes locked to find a Lucario had opened the door, his confident gaze scrolling around the room. "I suppose we are all under the same confusion?"
"Fuckin' 'course we are, your majesty..!" The Blaziken mocked while rolling his eyes with annoyance.
"What's your name, Blaziken?" Loki suddenly inquired, her eyes now gently locked with the fire-type's.
The tall bird seemed to fix his composure the moment the lass questioned him, so with a calmer tone, he huffed out his answer.
"Zantai...why?" He tilted his head.
"Just wondering, we need to know if we're stuck here, after all." Loki shrugged.
"Right..." Zantai heaved a long sigh. "Finally, does anyone wanna jump through a door and cut us off?"
Silence...and then a small knock.
"U-Uhm...I'm sorry to interrupt..." A very small, feminine and innocent voice mumbled through a door behind the Blaziken. "But I can't open this door..."
Zantai, on the verge of tearing the whole room apart, collected himself together and swung the door open behind him, revealing a timid Eevee.
"H-Hi...uhh..." The Eevee shuddered at the sight of the huge figure looming over her.
The Blaziken's gaze shifted to the group behind him.
"Arceus...if they're gonna kidnap us, at least make everyone be able to reach the damn doorknob." He sighed, walking away from the Eevee to crash against the couch.
"What's your name, darling?" Loki slowly made her way closer to the normal-type, her gaze filled with curiosity.
"Grace...do you have any idea why we're here..?" She answered, her now less timid eyes analyzing the large room. "Woah...this is huge."
"We all don't know why we're here..." The Zoroark replied, her once calm demeanor being replaced with a little more worry, now that she'd adjusted to her situation.
"Look...everyone just follow me for now, and we'll look for an exit, okay?" Galant called out to the group, the annoyance in the room seeming to build with each interruption.
"I agree..." The Lucario hummed, his eyes closing with focus. "My name is Leon, just so you're aware. I can detect us a way out..."
With those words, the appendages on the back of the jackal's head rose with intensity, a blue mist surrounding them. With his aura, Leon could see through walls, and for a little bit, he was successful...until his eyes opened.
"That is strange..." Leon muttered.
"What?" Galant pried.
"I was able to see through the walls for a few seconds...and then I lost control..."
"Hey, homes..." Zantai stepped closer to the Lucario and poked one of his sensors. "You have a metal ring around one of your...things..."
"A what?" The jackal gasped, holding his sensor to feel the ring.
"Yeah...it looks impossible to pull it off too..." Grace frowned, trotting her way over to the Lucario.
"Does anyone else have one?" Leon let go of the metal ring to worriedly stare at the group.
Everyone there seemed to check their body for the same object, but to no avail.
"Maybe it's because your aura can be used to escape..." Loki crossed her arms in thought. "I mean, whoever brought us in here most definitely wants us to stay."
"I see..." Leon sighed, his tone now much more saddened.
"Let's go." Galant motioned everyone to follow as he went along first. "I'm leaving this place."
After a while of searching different areas, things were not looking any better for the group. Every window they found was boarded with thick metal sheets and bulletproof glass.
Not only that, every door they found somehow led to a different room inside of the mansion, so finding any resemblance to what would be a backyard was impossible.
All hope was lost until one of the members had stumbled their way into the lobby.
"Hey! I found an entrance!" Zantai blurted the moment his eyes laid upon the boarded up front door.
The rest of them came rushing in with high hopes before their eyes locked onto the metal boardings.
"I mean...it's boarded...but we can still work with that." Loki placed a claw against her chin. "This is the most breakable thing we've seen so far!"
"Except for my joy in here..." Galant frowned.
"C'mon, we should probabl—"
No one could pay attention to whoever was speaking before another loud crash sounded in the living room. As familiar as it was, this one was accompanied by multiple angered voices.
"I swear to Arceus if you don't back the fuck away!" A feminine, yet powerful and rough voice cried at the other.
"Look, there are way more problems here than me right now, so stop bitching and get in the room!" A masculine, rowdy, but still rather smooth voice yelled back at the other.
"What in the hell?" Zantai cursed as the first formed group walked upon the mess that was now in the living room.
"Who are you all?" A tough Umbreon with an equally rough voice glared at the incoming group.
"In the same boat as you, dog..." Zantai scratched the back of his head. "Except our girls didn't really scream bloody murder..."
That comment earned a small elbow to the side from Loki, causing the bird to grunt, but flash a small rare smile.
"Right." The Umbreon rolled his eyes before tearing his glare to the rest of the new group. "The name's Vanta...and there's a lot of people here that need to be introduced."
"Not tryna make a scene, so..." A larger Luxray shrugged, and as if the room couldn't have more deep voices, this electric-type's voice also seemed to make the walls vibrate. "Luster...is the name..."
"Don't be so serious!" A Weavile smirked widely and wrapped an arm around the now uncomfortable Luxray, his charismatic voice filled with a hint of sarcasm. "We're stuck here, so we should all be friends!"
"Y-You're being weird, Laker..." An Absol with a rather squeaky and worried voice paced up to the Weavile and bit his neck, pulling the other dark-type away.
"Aubra! Let me just have fun!" Laker hissed. It's apparent to everyone that these two know each other.
"If I find out that one of you fuckers brought me here I swear to Arceus I will beat your ass!" A hot-headed and out-of-control Infernape stepped into the room just as requested before.
"Finally..." A midnight Lycanroc slowly came pacing in behind her with his arms crossed. From what everyone else heard, he was the smoother voice arguing with the Infernape.
"Okay...so there are a lot of people..." Loki whispered, slowly making her way forward. "Guys, does anyone remember where they came from?"
"If yer talkin' about the shitter I just walked out of, then yeah, I do." A Greninja with a rather prominent accent bickered, his voice lighter and raspier than the rest.
Loki seemed to ignore the comment and avert her eyes from the crowded area of the room. Her curiosity peaked whenever her pupils landed on an isolated Manectric on the other side of the room. The electric-type glared back, her eyes like daggers.
"You, hun. What's your name?" The Zoroark inquired.
To everyone's surprise, she replied.
"Rayne...and I don't know more than you do." She uttered, her voice more monotone, yet serious—almost speaking like she had authority.
"Ah, so you aren't shy, yer' just mad." The Greninja crossed his arms, a small grin tainting his features.
"Are you gonna ask my name?" A Lycanroc pried from below the Zoroark, causing Loki to jolt back in surprise.
"A-Arceus! Right, right...sorry uh...?" The dark-type stammered near the end for the rock-type to continue.
"Talus! My name is Talus, nice to meet you!" Talus exclaimed with joy. For being so positive, his voice wasn't exactly high-pitched; more of a medium between a silky and higher tone.
"Since we're introducin' ourselves..." The water frog chuckled. "I'm Vince."
"Talus!" A nearly disappointed voice called from the other side of the room. The same midnight Lycanroc had managed to calm the Infernape and make his way over to the midday Lycanroc. "What did I say? Don't get too happy, we're still stuck here."
"Oh...right..." Talus frowned.
"You two siblings?" Galant's interest peaked.
"Yup, don't know how we both got kidnapped but it beats me..." The midnight Lycanroc hummed. "I'm Lancer, by the way."
"It's not impossible to get out, ya'know." A rather charismatic voice with gravel sounded from behind the group.
Most of the gathered ones turned around to find a Sceptile with a wheat stem bit lazily on his beak.
"What'chu mean?" Zantai scoffed. "We checked too."
"Yeah...but they're missin' one thing. There's still ventilation to give air..." He crossed his arms, offering all of us a small smile. "I figure you're curious 'bout my name since we're gonna be here a lil' while. I'm Sherwood."
"Sherwood, right..." Galant cleared his throat and stepped closer. "Can you show us one of the vents?"
The Sceptile nodded, but the moment he was about to turn his body recoiled in reaction to a loud crash in the ceiling.
What came after the noise was a loud shatter and nothing but pitch black.
"What the fuck!?" The sound of Inu cursing caused everyone to turn to the noise. Luckily, with how angry the Infernape was, she was producing a consistent fire for everyone to see.
"Welcome, welcome! Ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to our special event!" A feminine and raspy voice—clearly damaged from yelling—cried from the roof of the room.
Everyone's focus shifted to the dark ceiling, and from an unknown area, a spotlight gleamed exactly where everyone was staring.
The many eyes finally recovered from the bright light to find a scarred Braixen, cackling and devilishly smirking from the broken chandelier.
"Welcome to my little game!"
