     THIRD PERSON

A Zoroark calmly made her way across the empty living room. Gazing directly on the second floor of the rooms, she yawned on queue and skipped up the stairs.

"Loki?" The sound of another voice alerted her, and her expression grew more curious as she turned around and gazed at the Ninetales.

"Alice? What happened?" Loki questioned as the Ninetales slowly paced up the stairs and passed the Zoroark.

"I'm sleeping with you, of course," Alice murmured, nudging Loki's room door with her muzzle.

"W-Woah! At least take me out to dinner first or something..!" Loki's cheeks seemed to have a light pink hue to them as she rose her hands defensively.

"We're both girls...it doesn't matter..." Alice murmured lightly before pushing the unlocked door wide open and entering. Loki seemed to groan in distress, however, after a few seconds, she seemed to stop protesting.

"What made you do this?" The Zoroark inquired, closing the door behind the two of them. She wasn't scared at all, if anything, she was comfortable having someone sleeping in the same room as her. Along with the new rules placed in the mansion temporarily, she wasn't scared of being assaulted either.

"Remember what I said? I promised you none of those nightmares or fears will ever happen," the Ninetales crawled against the mattress, snuggling inside of the blankets, "and so I'm here to make sure none of that happens."

Loki seemed to blush a light scarlet color before sighing.

"You're weird," the Zoroark teased, pacing up to the bed.

"And you're hesitant, hurry up and sleep. We may have a long day tomorrow," Alice added, softly planting her muzzle against the pillow. The Zoroark crawled onto the bed in defeat, snuggling under the sheets and placing her head softly against the pillow.

Utter silence. The Zoroark used to fear this alone, but she was no longer feeling anxious.

"You know..." Loki muttered from the fabrics.

"Hm?" Alice asked with a hum.

"You're really warm," the Zoroark mumbled from the fabrics once more.

"Hehe, go to bed, Loki," Alice chuckled lightly at her statement, giving the Zoroark's hair a light ruffle before turning around and resting her eyes.

      Sherwood's POV

I smiled, something I haven't done in so long. Watching the outside, a lot of Pokemon seemed to have fun just playing in the outdoors. Something caught me off guard, however.

"Hey! How about we have a Pokemon battle? Nothing harmful, just actual moves being used," Laker innocently sparked with an idea.

"I dunno...someone might actually get hurt," Sammy reluctantly called, practically shying away from the large group gathered outside.

"Don't be scared, we have a lot of medical supplies we can use indoors," Kanom warned, smirking widely at the Braixen.

"As long as you don't charge your moves too aggressively, Kanom, we shouldn't have a need for those," Leon crossed his arms, giving a side glare to the Toxicroak, who shrugged.

"Who wants to go first anyway?" Rayne softly spoke out to everyone. Grace smirked widely after her question.

"The one who asks first goes first!" The Eevee chuckled as she called out to the Manectric.

"Alright," Rayne shrugged, trotting her way up to a large plane field everyone gathered.

     "Well...she agreed quickly," I murmured.

"Sherwood! How about you fight her?" Loki snickered from the other side of the battlefield. "Or are you scared?"

"If ya think I'm scared of her, you're mistaken" I smirked, and marched up to the battlefield with ease. Rayne was quite far away from me, about 20 feet I would say.

"I want a fair fight...the Gengars guarding the areas should be the ones stopping if anything gets lethal!" Leon stood in the middle of the battlefield, waving his paw for attention. "When I count down you may start."

The Lucario had already left the middle of the battlefield, and with the wave of his paw, he caught our attention once more.

"Three." He began as my eyes locked directly to Rayne's.

"Two." The Manectric was completely fired up, I've never seen this much emotion in her.

     "One," Leon smirked. "Fight!"

I didn't even need to move as the Manectric had already begun bolting in my direction.

"Holy shit," I murmured to myself as Rayne hopped high in the air and began charging a Thunderbolt. I almost froze but managed to leap away from the previous position I was located. With that, I heard a large beam of energy crackle violently behind me, the pure power of the attack cause me to be flung farther away from Rayne, who had landed softly on the ground. I broke my fall with my talons, glaring with determination at the Manectric.

"Lucky ass," Rayne scoff as she turned around to see me completely scratch-free.

"How was that luck?" I held surprised for a small moment, but I shifted into a focused gaze once she began charging at me once again. I finally had the change to charge a move, so I began to ready up a Swords Dance. I had fully charged from the Swords Dance and leaped into the sky as Rayne did the same thing. It seemed like Rayne was going to use Wild Charge, but I had interrupted the attack with a Leaf Blade. Slamming the blade against the maw of the Manectric, Rayne was blown back and knocked onto the dusty ground.

"Rayne is unable to battle!" Leon called as Rayne seemed quite dazed from the attack. Alice was the first one to help her up from the long fall.

"Good fight, Sherwood," Rayne smiled pridefully at me, something quite rare. I smiled back, nodding on queue.

     Sammy's POV

I wanted to see it again, the room. I just wanted to check if the Gengars were guarding it again. I was hurt, still completely ragged up from my previous encounter in this same area. I felt around for the same indent on the wall. As I succeeded, I gazed down at the hidden room. No one.

Disturbingly enough, this hallway was also a morgue for some twisted reason. Due to this, I had to read every single name I passed by, knowing each and everyone has died a horrible, yet almost unfair death.

     "Vince..." My quiet voice resounded.

     "Lancer..."

     "Talus..."

     "Gruta..."

"Aubra..." I accidentally skipped ahead on one of the morgue's nameplates.

"Inu..." I looked back to finish all the plated names, it was quite disturbing.

Hastily skipping down the cramped hallway, I glared through the darkness and found a special room Sam resided in. The intercom, camera footage, and even personal info were all located here. However, a special device was planted against the counter--something I have never seen before. With curiosity, I placed my paw against it and...

     Memory 3

     Inu's POV?

I was...propped up against a tree, gazing at the beautiful sunset. There was nothing that could have felt better...being outside and just gazing at the setting sun with my partner...more than a partner in our eyes.

"You've always liked the sunsets," Aubra chuckled from beside me. It was an unusual relationship. No one would ever think to see an Infernape and an Absol dating. I'm surprised we even managed to work it out.

"Well of course I do...I'm accustomed to seeing it every night," I softly murmured to the Absol, who seemed to stare directly at the sun, however silently hissing when she gazed at it for too long. "Why the hell did you do that?"

"I dunno...just tired..." The Absol yawned before resting her head on my shoulder.

"You know...I never understood why you killed those people," the Infernape also yawned, silently gazing away from the sun and directly to Aubra.

"I had a reason...there's always a reason," the Absol huffed, "but don't worry...I'd never kill you," she took her head away from my shoulder to flash me a smile, "never."

     Sammy's POV

"What...happened?" I was so stunned for such a brief moment. I found myself propped against the wall, gazing at the mysterious object. "I have to leave before they come back," I seemingly spoke to myself and quickly rose to my feet, clutching the object and making a run for the exit. Now that I take a good look at the object, it seemed more like a gem of some sort. I turned the final corner and glared up to find...thankfully nothing. I leaped out of the wall and pressed the button once more, causing the hidden door to completely close and stay hidden.

"Sammy? Where did you go?" I heard the voice of  Kanom call for me. My heart dropped--this was the exact same placed he caught me searching in last time. My heart rate raced faster than I could comprehend, and before I knew it.

"Hey, Kanom! It's your turn, hurry up and get over here!" I heard the voice of Leon call the Toxicroak in a different direction. Somehow--I don't know how he managed to pull it off but--Leon saved me. I don't know if Kanom was going to be aggressive or not but I would not have taken the chance of finding out. I let myself take a couple of seconds of breathing before peaking outside. Seeing as how no one was watching the garage entrance, I slipped out and fit directly within the crowd, which was now cheering for the Lucario and Toxicroak's fight.

"Where did you go?" Galant softly questioned right next to me. I shrugged with confidence.

"Doesn't matter," I uttered back. He didn't seem to object to anything I said--luckily, this whole 'break' idea seems to have made everyone very less suspicious about where everyone is.

"Good fight, Kanom," Leon spoke with respect as the dazed Toxicroak in front of him slowly rose to his feet.

"D-Damn that was rough, yeah, good fight I guess," the Toxicroak spoke with dissatisfaction, but he nonetheless chose to respect the Lucario's strength.

"I'm...going to use the restroom," I murmured out before turning around and running directly to the front doors of the mansion. I hastily shoved the door open and closed it behind me, rushing to the extra room I resided in. Locking the door behind me, I paid attention to the gem in my hands. "How in the world does this thing work...and why did I have a memory of Inu?" Directly after those words, the gem gleamed a white color until...

    THIRD PERSON

The forest was loud, burning, and completely devoid of all positive emotions.

"Inu...I can't...I can't believe you. They were my friends, why did you have to do that!?" A crying Absol stood in front of a seemingly enraged Infernape.

"They were fucking threatening you, Aubra! What else was I supposed to do?" Inu hissed at the Absol, "plus, you kill people all the fucking time, right?"

"I only have killed the people who betrayed me..! You...you killed my friends! We're done!" Aubra sobbed lightly, dashing away and attempting to avoid the live flames around the forest. It was quiet for a moment...

"What have I done?" the female Infernape sobbed in the flames, the streaming tears sizzling into the fire. "I just...I just wanted to fit in with them...I..." Inu kneeled down onto the pulverized grass. The Infernape slammed her palm onto the earth, balling her fist as the dirt collected.

Slowly, the sky was dimming into darkness, dusk was approaching. "I have to get out of here before anyone sees me this way," Inu murmured out into the crackling sounds of the fire. She sped out of the woods, into the unknown.

The Infernape ran until her legs felt like giving up, and upon the sight of seeing another Pokemon, she felt nothing but numb. Tripping against seemingly nothing, the Infernape gasped and fell against the ground.

"Are you okay?" The Zoroark questioned her, "what's your name, can you hear me?" She seemed to grow closer.

"Y-yeah...i-it's..." The Infernape began with a stammer.

     "Inu..."

     Sammy's POV

I...think I understand now. I can only leave it to coincidence but it's all I have at the moment. It seems like after saying a specific name and holding the gem, it would give you the memories of the Pokemon.

Analyzing this from the fact that I previously said Inu's name out loud the first time, I touched the gem and it brought me the memory.

"And now that I have said the name while holding it...the same effects apply," I whispered to the silently, stagnating air.

"What am I doing!?" I thought to myself, carefully placing the gem inside of a nearby drawer, I shouldn't be touching that gem unless it's for something really important. A knock against the door caused me to flinch in fear. No one knew this place other than Leon, so I grew the confidence to walk up to the wooden door and pull it open.

"Heya...just making you're safe," Leon's expression was quite welcome. His eyes were shut and his smiled was bright. He opened eyes to reveal his scarlet-red pupils, "what are you doing?"

"Hey...promise me if I show you something...that you will never tell anyone else, okay?" Due to the way the Lucario expressed his confusion I could tell he thought something wrong, "n-not in a sexual way!" I stammered quickly.

The Lucario chuckled lightly, shaking his head teasingly. He walked inside the room and closed the door behind him. He folded his arms directly in front of me.

"Alright, what is it?" Leon tilted his head slightly in confusion.

"O-Okay so there's this special gem I stole from Sam's office. It seems like a memory retriever a-and," I stammered, "I think it could be useful for everyone." Leon's eyes widened as both of his paws landed on his shoulder.

"You're telling me thing gem can retrieve most of our memories?" The Lucario's expression was surprised, almost a hint of proudness was fixated inside of his scarlet eyes, "how did you even manage to go inside of there?" I shrugged at his question, trudging over to the cabinet and slipping out the gem.

"I guess I'm good at sneaking around? Anyways, the way to activate this thing is to say your name and hold it," I stated. I didn't know entirely whether this gem actually activated that way, but it was worth a shot. I stretched my hand into his direction as he curled his paw around the object.

"Leon," upon the Lucario saying his own name, the gem gleamed a white color and...

     Memory 4

     Leon's POV

I felt the darkness consume me. I was in the arms of someone, a parental figure of some sort. I gazed down at my body, my completely fragile form. I hate myself--I wanted to help my parents so badly. I couldn't.

"We can't stay here forever, Des!" I heard my father call my mother, who still had me wrapped in her arms. I heard...vigorous and merciless barking. I finally regained my vision from its once blurry state. I was in such a dark cave, and the only entrance was ambushed by a large pack of Mightyeena. Suddenly, the feeling of comfort once went away, and I felt the harsh cold rocky ground below me.

"I-I'm sorry, Leon!" My mother sobbed lightly as she gave me one final kiss on my forehead, dashing away from me and into the crowd of Pokemon.

"Des!" I felt my father's piercing cry practically shatter my eardrums. He glared down at me as I began to rise to my feet. He kneeled down to me and wrapped his arms around me very carefully, "I love you, Leon, I'm sorry," his hesitant expression was all I could see before he let go, chasing after my mother.

"D-Dad? Mom! Where are you going!?" I called out to the both of them, beginning to tumble as soon as I began trudging across the rocky ground. One final glance up was all I could do. My mother had managed to distract all of the Mightyena quite far from me, but as soon as I saw her be gripped by one of the dark type's maw. I...I knew it was over for her...

And my dad was the same story...

     THIRD PERSON

"Leon!" A voice shrilled, causing the fainted Lucario to stiffen and jet back onto his legs, "Arceus, are you alright?" The Braixen was panting in pure fear for the Lucario.

Leon was speechless as to what he just experienced.

"Speak to me...please? What did you see?" Sammy had his paws directly on the cheek of the Lucario.

     "Everything..."
