Chapter 1: I wonder who it is?

"Ah, I see you are back safely, welcome back, Galant...how was your day?" A rather old and experienced Gallade spoke to the younger one.

"It was great, kind of boring honestly. I'm going to be honest with you, dad, training school is just the same thing. I want to learn more about martial arts, but I can't when we're not even sparring..." Galant huffed and stressed around, the father of the Gallade only chuckling.

"Well, you have to learn about new things before you can even begin to spar in the first place, Galant. Remember, if you just are training yourself in something and only training, you will be stuck doing the same thing over and over; like it's insanity. It's predictable." The father smiled weakly at the younger Gallade. Galant seemed to only live with his father, having no mother, things were a lot harder to deal with, especially for his father. However, soon enough...

     Things were going to change...

The Zoroark coughed into the smoke, hopping from tree to tree, attempting to leave the flames. "What a wonderful time to have a forest fire, isn't it?" She huffed out into the fresh air, before seeping the clean air into her nostrils. Loki shifted around the grass she laid on, carefully dusting her fur of the dust she collected while escaping.

"Darn, I can't stay anywhere without getting bad luck...guess that's my 'special bad talent'..." The female Zoroark chuckled to herself. "Eh, I really don't know what I'm good at...now that I have no one to look after me...I'm alone in this world...so let's see what Arceus has in store for me," Loki smirked at the night sky.

"What have I done?" the female Infernape sobbed in the flames, the streaming tears sizzling into the fire. "I just...I just wanted to fit in with them...I..." Inu kneeled down onto the pulverized grass. The Infernape slammed her palm onto the earth, balling her fist as the dirt collected.

Slowly, the sky was dimming into darkness, dusk was approaching. "I have to get out of here before anyone sees me this way," Inu murmured out into the crackling sounds of the fire. She sped out of the woods, into the unknown.

In the distance, a Sceptile was carefully propped on an oak tree, and there he laid. "Sherwood! Where are you?" A high pitched voice called out from the distance, and slowly, the once tired Sceptile jolted awake. Sherwood sighed, glaring around until his eyes locked on the figure behind him. "Estra?" Sherwood called from the top of the thick branch as a Grovyle peeked up and smirked.

"Why are you hiding?" Estra chuckled lightly at the sight of her brother. The older brother chuckled too as he slid off of the tree, and in front of his sister.

"What makes ya think that I'm hidin'?" The Sceptile replied as Estra rolled her eyes playfully. Estra sighed, turning around and pacing her way over to their home.

"It's almost like you can't sleep in a cave, you're so addicted to trees," Estra murmured as Sherwood silently scoffed. "I heard that!" The older grass type called out as Estra silently laughed to herself.

They arrived at a specific area in the woods, a large cave big enough to fit a whole family of Pokemon, however, it was only used for two Pokemon. The Grovyle planted herself on the smooth ground, softly sighing. The Sceptile slowly approached the entranced as he glared around.

"Dunno, I just feel like I got more air where the trees are," he folded his arms, leaning on the rough walls.

"What more do you want? This specific cave is indented into the wall of this mountain, It's better than having a cave in the ground. At least we d-"

"At least we don't have water flooding in - yeah yeah, I get it. But ya have to understand we're both grass types ya'know? You should be accustomed to going into the trees and..." Sherwood paused at the sight of his sister's pupils shrinking. He shifted around, glaring at a Lucario, who was picking Oran berries off of a tree...

"Him...again..." he hissed softly to himself, beginning to charge at the Lucario. The jackal seemed to have heard it because he dashed around Sherwood and evaded the attack before they both glared at each other in a neutral position and distance.

"I told ya to never come here ever again, Leon!" Sherwood cried out to the seemingly calm Lucario. The blue jackal scowled, observing the Sceptile's movements carefully.

"Perhaps innocently picking berries off a tree angers you? What an odd reason to attack me," Leon began to shift the berries away from the grass type.

"I hate that stupid talk of yours! Just fight me already!" called Sherwood, before he began charging an attack. Leon's eyes widened before he began sprinting away from the Sceptile. It felt like hours, but after a few minutes, he got away. Hyperventilating, the Lucario crashed down on the soft grass as his stomach grumbled. He's been going on an empty stomach for the whole day...but now...

Oh boy what a Frenzy indeed it is, what problems they all have! Galant is bored in life, Loki wants a home, Inu wants friends, Sherwood just wants to protect his sister, and Leon just wants to eat!

But don't feel pity for them yet, like normal Pokemon, they have all done something horrible, and their punishment is coming very very soon! In fact, It's right now! And remember.

     Don't get too attached.

The Braixen slowly walked up to the abandoned mansion. Human remains, left here from possibly the most corrupt human in the entire world. They died here, and their body - buried somewhere for nobody to find...

Shuffling around with the keys, the Braixen jabbed in the metal object into the wide gap, slowly turning left until a click was heard. She smirked devilishly, before shoving the door open at full force, grinning widely.

"I can't wait till they all meet their due karma. I suppose it's time to bring them all here, or perhaps...bait them...Gengars!" the Braixen called, before a pack of hidden, and previously invisible Gengars to loom out of the darkness and into the night sky, searching for the five victims, or criminals to her own eyes...

     Galant's POV

I carefully made my way through the rough bushes, silently moving my way over to a specific spot in the woods. I glared around, the area is almost entirely burnt to the crisp...

"This is strange, who could have done all of this in one day?" I slowly thought out loud to myself, curiously shifting around the charcoal bits of leaves and branches. For a brief moment, I saw something flash by my eyes, almost like a very quick figure at the corner of my line of sight. It was the bright color of red, and a trail of smoke followed behind it.

"Could it have been that Pokemon? Hm. What could have happened?" I questioned myself, glaring concerned around the area. All I could do was shrug it off, and an odd feeling around my stomach kept nagging me to leave - and so I did. I turned around...and then darkness...

I gasped awake, hyperventilating heavily as a paw was met over my head.

"Hey, hey, calm down there," a feminine voice comforted as my vision was fully recovered. A Zoroark...that's an unusual sight to see assisting me. I flinched, not used to waking up to anything but my father, but slowly I returned to the rough ground.

"What...what's going on..?" I barely mustered out as a Sceptile walked into the scene.

"Oh, he's awake. Now, don't let that Lucario get in, aight?" The Sceptile kneeled next to me and glared with concern at the Zoroark. It was almost like the Scpetile had a specific accent in his speech, almost like he didn't care for what he was saying - or maybe just the way he pronounces things. The dark type sighed, her vision now shifting over to the grass type Pokemon.

"We haven't even been here for a while, and you're already having trust issues. Stay calm!" The Zoroark chirped back, and I have to admit, the Zoroark's way of speech was rather peculiar. For a Zoroark, her way of speaking is too...jittery and confident. The Sceptile coughed, turning away from the female Pokemon and glaring at...whatever the object was.

"I don't, I've already had past experiences with him. Also...what in the world are these...things?" called out the grass type from stern to absolutely confused. It looked like thin wood, but as soon as the Pokemon nudged it, it swung all the way and lead to another area.

"Hey, are you slow-pokes done in there?" a higher-pitched feminine voice called, an Absol slowly peeking into the room.

"Yeah Aubra, all we have to do now is introduce ourselves," the Zoroark quickly flashed a smile at Aubra, before switching her view to me. "Welp, I will start it off! My name is Loki, and this Sceptile..." Loki glared at the Sceptile, who was mere seconds away from walking off, could only freeze. "The names Sherwood, there, happy?" Sherwood bluntly answered, and stomped off into a direction I could not view him in.

"Well, what is your name?" Loki snapped me back into reality as I quickly smiled.

"Galant is the name, and I should have been more specific but, what are we all doing here?" I quickly began to ponder as her smile dragged lower into a frown. This worried me, very much...

"Well, we all don't know. If anything, all sixteen of us were captured." Loki softly spoke in a tone which brought me to the brink of despair. Not only was I worried from the fact that I was captured, but sixteen other people were also completely clueless, roaming around a place...well a place I don't know was possible to exist.

"How is it even possible to make all of this? Why and what is this?" I began to question more than I expected people to answer, but being in this situation it was expected of me. "How can you be so calm?"

"Well, I'm not. It's just...if the majority of Pokemon here freak out...everyone freaks out. I just have to keep calm!" she sheepishly forced a smile, but deep inside I can tell she was most likely the same as I am...

     Terrified.

     Leon's POV

It is almost like the space around me is unfamiliar to anyone in the universe. All of Pokemon kind would dread to be in a predicament occurring to me currently, and I have no understanding of what is transpiring...

"Wake up you wet fucking dog! Not the time to sleep right now!" a rather loud feminine and vulgar voice called to me. My eyelids rose.

"Perhaps you can quit the vulgar mouth? I do not like how you are speaking to me," I replied in the calmest manner possible, but to my demise...

"BAHAHAHAHA! You think I'm going to listen to you?" the infernape blurted out in complete disregard to my statement. There has to be a weakness in there, I can sense it.

"There is something approaching the building currently, I suggest you all prepare for what's coming...all fifteen of you..." I sighed out, before listening to the mutters of confusion I have caused.

"Uh, looks like you forgot your brain at dog training because Loki said there are sixteen of us!" the short-tempered Pokemon called out, gaining the attention of the crowd...

    Then...the lights fell...
