Chapter 2: There's nothing worse than a liar
Sammy's POV
I was confused. Another Braixen—dare I say a more devilish looking one—stood directly in front of me, a wide smirk staining her features.
"I have many questions," I raised my paw, the Braixen in front of me shifting her attention to me.
"I'll answer them right now," she grinned widely at me and snapped her fingers. On queue with her snapping, a line of Gengar and Inteleon phased into sight behind the other Braixen, "because I know some of you will riot, I have these Pokemon preventing you from hurting me."
"That's not an answer yeh fuckin' slut," Vince slammed his fist against a nearby counter, "I want out!"
"Let her continue," Xeonix placed a claw against his chin, "I want to see this."
"Thank you," Sam grinned widely and glared at everyone, her smirk faltering, "you will all be participating in a game!"
Her words confused me—I didn't sign up for any game show, especially one that made me forgot how I even arrived here in the first place. However, her second sentence made my heart completely drop.
"A killing game!" Sam added, her loud voice dancing across the walls as she cackled. I couldn't believe the words that escaped Sam's lips.
"Pfft! You're joking, right?" Nightshade grinned widely as her voice was heard laughing loudly at the Braixen's words. However, her smile faltered upon seeing two of the Inteleon behind the Braixen point their fingers threateningly at her, a small water sphere circling their index fingers.
"As you can see behind me; I am not joking," Sam smirked widely, her paw waving around in the air, "the rules are..." she began, but her voice trailed off.
"Actually, I summarize it very briefly..." She giggled silently, "whoever kills someone first, gets to leave! Easy, right?"
I gulped, my gaze shifting around to the crowd. Everyone seemed to have the same exact fearful glare, and the group slowly, yet surely dispersed.
"Kill someone?" Xeonix cracked his knuckles in a threatening manner, "oh, that's easy. What wants it first?" His glare locked on everyone in the room one by one.
"Stay back!" Inu yelled, "I don't want your dirty paws on me!" The Infernape exclaimed, her flames only growing brighter.
"I know you won't lay a claw on me," Prince frowned, his sly remark reverberating around the room.
"Anyway~!" Sam chimed before backing away from the crowd. "You all have two days to murder someone before I do it myself~!" She cheerily called before a Gengar from the line teleported the rest away from the living room.
Silence stagnated the air, and recollecting upon the situation, everyone seemed to agree on one thing.
"That was so...sudden," Zantai frowned, leaning against the wooden wall with his arms folded.
"I don't like where this is going," Luster paced to the middle of the room, "everyone, listen to me right now. No matter what that Braixen says, we will not murder anyone," his powerful voice reverberated in our brains.
"Are you fucking crazy? She just said she'd murder someone with her little gay army if we don't!" Inu's voice croaked, "I don't want to die!"
"Okay, how about we all stay calm..! Let's just...explore the area or something!" Loki offered, a soft frown staining her features.
"Loki's right," Nightshade muttered, "this all can't be real...it's a dream!"
"It's not a dream, missy," Xeonix shrugged and paced away from the crowd, "no one cares about your feelings anyway..."
"Dick," Inu hissed before also pacing away from the group. At this point, I decided to take a better look around the area.
The mansion was surprisingly well made, and the beautiful furniture only added on to what seemed to be a professionally kept area.
"How did they keep this so...well made?" I uttered as an Umbreon came trudging from behind me.
"I-I'm going to...explore," Luna inched away from me, his croaking voice filling the air until he paced away. I stood there, completely alone and entirely trapped in thought until...
"I wouldn't stand there...all alone," a large Charizard trampled his way past me—just when I thought I was entirely alone, "you're an easy target when you space out."
I didn't really understand what he said at first, but upon noticing his small smirk as he walked away, I gulped. I really was in trouble, was I? Even if Luster told everyone that they should promise they would never kill, there is always someone in this mansion that would kill someone if it ever got to that point.
And even if no one followed the idea of killing one another, Sam will kill someone herself—she said at least.
"O-Okay," I managed to let out, my legs seemingly moving on their own to approach the multiple arrays of doors ahead of me. I nudged one of the wooden doors open, and it revealed to be another big section of the mansion.
"They look like rooms!" A Blaziken cheered, "is this a hotel or somethin'?"
"They...they're not private," Bigby frowned, "we gotta share it with others?" The midnight Lycanroc frowned at the sight of two names being written on each door.
"What the hell does TBD mean?" Luster called in confusion until a certain Braixen phased into sight.
"That means it's to be determined! There's a certain someone coming soon to fill that spot in," Sam grinned as Luster shifted his body to glare at her, "unless you want me to fill in that spot?"
"I want you to stay as far away as possible from me," Luster frowned, causing Sam to frown.
"Your loss," she sighed and snapped her fingers, a large Gengar phasing into sight to teleport her away.
"What a whore," Inu rolled her eyes and gazed at the door in front of her, "Galant, you're my roommate. Don't touch me, or whatever things Gallades do."
"I haven't even spoken a word to you," Galant frowned as he approached the door and shoved it open, "the rooms are nice too."
"Bigby!" Loki called, waving to the midnight Lycanroc, "you're my roommate!"
Bigby seemed to gulp, his anxious demeanor expressing to everyone in the room.
"Don't be shy, I don't bite," Loki offered him a small smile and tugged him by the wrist before pacing over inside of their room.
"Urgh, could I at least have gotten a girl?" Nightshade frowned and balled her fists in annoyance upon glaring at the name platted next to hers. She shifted her gaze to Hydra and sighed, "I guess this isn't too bad..."
Hydra shrugged and paced into the room, the Salazzle following suit.
"Who's...err...Zuntae?" Vince butchered the name as a Blaziken came trudging up behind him.
"Eh, it's Zantai. You got pretty close, though," he offered him a smile and pushed the door open, pacing inside.
"Luna, mate," Prince snarled as he shifted his head to glare at the Umbreon. Luna froze in utter fear, his gaze locked onto the Charizard, "you're with me," Prince's voice seemed quite forceful as he slammed the door open and stomped inside. Luna hesitantly trotted inside.
Sherwood waved to Leon and opened the door, "yer not too bad. At least I didn't get no weirdo."
"I am a weirdo," Leon teased as he paced inside of the room, a sly smile written on his face.
I thought everyone already had their rooms, so the second I saw Leon and Sherwood enter their appropriate rooms, I trampled my way over to mine. The name written on the plate caused my heart to drop—I felt a huge paw plant on top of my head.
"Let's go," Xeonix scratched the top of my head and pushed the door wide open, stomping inside. I was scared of being his roommate, but at least the interior looked nice and...we have to share beds...nevermind.
This was going to be worse than I thought.

Luna's POV
There's nothing worse than being in a place you dislike—no, despise. I haven't even been in this torture for a day and I seem to already be in utter despair. But indeed, I have found something worse than this; it's being in here with Prince.
"One bed? This is blasphemy," Prince snarled at the sight of the dorm's master bed.
"I am not sleeping next to you," I murmured in annoyance, a soft frown staining my expression.
"I am not either," Prince shifted his glare to me, "sleep on the floor, mate."
I couldn't believe his words, but I didn't want to sleep with him, either. I gripped a pillow with my maw and slid it off the bed.
"What do you think you're doing? That's mine, mate," the Charizard gripped the other side of the pillow with a claw. I tugged harder against it, pulling it away from his grasp.
"I need something to sleep with," I hissed, planting the pillow against the ground and comfortably curling up against it, "and I'm not your mate."
Nothing but silence filled the air after my remark, and as I drew faster to sleep, I felt the lights switch off.

Hydra's POV
I gazed at the Salazzle, who seemed to pace around in circles. Her worried gaze stared around the entire room, and I offered her a small smile.
"We don't have to sleep on the same bed, you know?" I reminded as she stopped in her tracks.
"N-No! It's not that—well, I can't really," she stammered, her hands flailing around in distress, "I can't say..."
"It's alright," I chuckled softly, shifting my direction to slip inside of the bed, "oh, it's quite comfortable."
"That's really bad," Nightshade sighed, "that means Sam wants us to stay here," her gaze locked onto a boarded-up window. She readied up her body and slammed her shoulder against it, a slight whimper of pain was all I heard.
"Why did you do that? Are you alright?" I felt myself lift off the bed and pace over to her.
"Fuck," she hissed in pain, her body shifting away from me, "I'm fine," she mumbled to me, placing a free hand over her wound.
"You have a bruise, Nightshade," I frowned to her, curling my paw over her wrist and tugging her arm off the wound gently. The Salazzle turned her head over to wince at the bruise. Gently, I rose my paw and hovered it carefully near the wound, a light pink mist emanating off my palm.
"Why are you...helping me?" Nightshade tore her gaze from her shoulder and avoided eye contact.
"Isn't it common sense to do this?" I tilted my head in confusion as the Heal Pulse slowly repaired her shoulder.
"I don't even know you," she frowned, her eyes finally locking onto mine, "for all I know, you could be my assailant."
"I assure you; I am anything but that," I offered her a warm smiled and pulled my paw away once the wound healed. The Salazzle felt around her shoulder and murmured a 'thank you' to me.
"I don't want to be here," she groaned and paced over to the bed, feeling around the mattress, "but this sure is comfortable."
I nodded in agreement, my body slipping on the bed and inside the covers. The Salazzle did the same, but she laid on her back to be able to stare at the ceiling.
"Do you think...we can leave? Like—escape?" Nightshade's voice uttered—which seemed to grow softer every passing second.
"We need to figure out a more practical method than trying to pry against hard metal," I yawned, my gaze locking onto the ceiling as well, "especially when Sam could be watching."
"You think she has cameras in the rooms?" Nightshade scoffed, her head shifting to stare at me.
"Of course. She most likely wants to see everything that's going on when she isn't in the building," I also turned my head to stare back.
"What a shame," Nightshade grinned, her gaze changed direction constantly—as in trying to search for a camera, "I wanted to have privacy here...unless you're too shy for that."
"What a flirt, you are," I chuckled softly, closing my eyes, "go to bed, we may have a long day tomorrow."
"Fine," she huffed, hopefully closing her eyes as well.
It was a surprise seeing an entirely furnished murderous household, but it would be expected from a crazy Pokemon like Sam. Everything we do has to be allegedly monitored, and any mistake can lead to our deaths via other people. Everything has to be done carefully, and no one should underestimate the severity of such a situation I've been put in.
If not, life could fly by as easy as a noose can do the job.
It's that terrible...

THIRD PERSON
A Luxray laid carefully against the couch, and before he could fall asleep entirely, the sound of a door creaking open caused him to peek in curiosity.
"Oh, you're awake...sorry," Luna murmured softly, stopping his tracks.
"Don't worry about it, kid," Luster yawned softly before lifting off his side and landing gracefully against the ground, "what happened?"
"I'm in the same room as Prince," Luna heaved a sigh and trotted by the Luxray to gaze around the darkened household, "all the lights seem to be off...I like it."
Luster offered the Umbreon a gentle smile before crawling on the couch once again.
"You can sleep on the other couch if you'd like, I'm no murderer," the Luxray shut his eyes, his body curling up into a comfortable ball.
"Right," Luna smiled and trudged over to the couch—which seemed to be at a reasonable distance from Luster, "goodnight," he barely murmured, curling up against a nearby pillow once he hopped on.
"Night," he huffed.
Silence...
