I just wanted to say something real quick: I am altering things a little bit in the timeline. I know things are going to be a little out of order, or happen a little differently than they do in the series, but we're adding another character to the story, and it flows so much nicer this way. So yeah, there you go. Don't hate me...

Zane's POV

Y/N herded everyone back into the living room, to do who knows what stupidness. I was only here because Aph was, and she bribed me with cupcakes. I'm just hoping to get through the night without being acknowledged.

"It's time for.. drumroll please!" Y/N started stomping her feet in the center of the circle, and soon everyone was patting their legs, awaiting the next 'fun' activity. "Truth or dare! In the dark!" Everyone raised a cheer, but I just groaned. No matter how many times we play this dumb game, nobody seems to remember that it just ends up being a kissing contest. Maybe I can sneak off to the bathroom and escape through the window..

I started to ease away from the group, when Aph called my name.

"Zane! Sit by me!" Aphmau patted the couch next to her, motioning me to sit next to her. Ugh, why am I even friends with her?

Y/N's POV

"Can I start? Please, please, pleeesse???" Katelyn was trying to stay cool, but clearly failing.

"Yeah, you can start Katelyn. Go for it!" I motioned for her to go. I was secretly glad she wanted to go first, because the first truth/dare has to be the best.

Kayelyn slowly turned to Aph. "Truth or dare, Aphmau?"

"How about dare?" Katelyn's eyes glinted, and she smirked.

"Oh ho ho, yes! I dare you to kiss Aaron. Right here. Right now." Aphmau's head snapped to Aaron, bright red.

"Uh, I don't know Katelyn, I-" Aph was cut off by Aaron, who said, "Sure." He leaned over on the couch and kissed Aphmau on the cheek. She flushed even more red somehow, and smiled.

'Awws' chorused around the room as Aaron leaned back again. You know, I could definitely see them as a couple.

I had noticed that Zane was here, I was too busy being a murderer to really care. But when he groaned it was hard not to notice him.

"Aph, do I have to play this kids game?" He moaned.

"C'mon Zane, it'll be fun. Remember the cupcakes.." she whispered. Everyone heard though, because Aphmau doesn't seem to understand 'quiet'. Zane knew this, and I could see a hint of pink on the bit of face I could see.

"Ugh, only because I like cup- you, because I like you! And only if you don't make me do any kissy stuff." He folded his arms and stared her down with one, crystal blue eye.

Aphmau squirmed in her seat. But there was no where to go. "Fine! Fine. No kissy stuff. Now, truth or dare?" She asked, leaning towards Zane, making him squirm in his seat in turn.

"Mm.. truth." Zane said, practically falling off the couch onto Garroth.

"Hee hee! Okay! If you had to be handcuffed to anyone here for 24 hours, who would it be?" Aph said rubbing her hands together, her eyes gleaming, the gold in them glowing.

" Seriously? *grumble grublen cjdnvkz*" Zane mumbled and his eye grew dark. He's a little scary sometimes, but he's friends with Aphmau, so he must be decent enough.

"I guess.. Y/N," I jumped at my name. "Because she hasn't shown any signs of shipping, romancey-ness, so that makes her a sliver more bearable." I decided to mess with him a bit.

"How do you know? You talked to me for about 30 seconds, and 20 of those seconds were you talking to Aph with me watching." I gave him a weird look, a look I had seen of Kawaii~Chan too many times for living here for one day. I was not a shipping kind of person, but he didn't know that..

"Uhh..." Zane's eyes darted nervously, and I cracked up.

"Aww, I think Cyclops has a cruush~" Laurance teased Zane, who turned on him and growled.

"Come on, Zane! Who's up ne-" Katelyn was cut off by a red-haired girl poofing onto the floor, sitting between me and Garroth. Half the room jumped, and someone, *cough cough Laurance cough* screamed like a little girl.

"Hey guys," she said casually, like she had walked in like a normal person, "What did I miss?"

"Phew, hi Lucinda! Zane wants to be handcuffed to Y/N for a day, but that's all." Aphmau filled her in, but received a death stare from Zane.

"I don't want to be handcuffed to anyone! It's this DUMB GAME!" Zane stood up in anger, but stepped on Garroth's hand in the process.

"Eeep! Hey Zane, your on my hand." Garroth squeaked. Zane looked down and lifted up his foot. "Thanks," he said, sucking his fingers.

"Your not welcome." Zane said, calming down. He let Aphmau pull him back onto the couch, and stayed quiet.

"Aaand~ Aphmau and Aaron kissed. You forgot that one Aph!" Dante giggled as Aphmau's ears went pink on the tips.

"Soo, can we keep playing? It's your turn, Zane." Katelyn clearly wanted to keep playing. I wonder why...

"Mhg, fine. Uhh, Kawaii~Chan, truth or dare?" Zane said looking anywhere but at Kawaii~Chan.

"Oo, Kawaii~Chan doesn't know! How about dare?" She looked nervously at Zane. I was nervous for her; Zane is pretty intense from what I've seen, and I'm not sure KC could take as much as other people could.

"Mm hm hm," Zane chuckled under his breath. "I was hoping you'd say that. I dare you to make me 12 dozen cupcakes!" I could tell from across the room that he was intoxicated at the thought of KC's fabulous cupcakes. Even I know how good her sweets are!

"Deal! Kawaii~Chan can bring them to your house tomorrow night!" Zane leaned back. His mask covered his mouth, but I could still tell he was smiling.

"All right KC, who's up next on the chopping block?" Lucinda sat forward in her spot on the floor.

"Umm, let Kawaii~Chan think... Y/N~Sama! Truth or dare?" I could tell whatever I picked, it wasn't going to end well. Her ears were perked and her tail stood up straight.

"Oh Irene, let's see... how about dare? I'm not chicken, give me something good!" I sat up, curious to see what kind of dare she would come up with. Aph and I tried to play truth or dare one time, but there was only two of us, and she could never come up with good dares.

"Kawaii~Chan was hoping you would say that! Kawaii~Chan dares you to spend the next 24 hours handcuffed to Zane~Kun! It was his idea, after all!" My eyes darted from Kawaii~Chan to Zane. I wasn't sure how to feel about this, but I wasn't going to chicken out after just saying I wouldn't..

"Deal. Who's got some cuffs?" Laurance's eyes shone as he announced he had some and bolted to his room.

"WHAT?!?! Don't I get a say in this? I'm NOT okay with being stuck to this girl. Okay? N. O. NO!" Zane was furiously shaking his head, trembling in rage.

"Aww, Zane, it'll be good for you!" Garroth patted Zane on the knee. "Maybe Y/N will be your next best friend! You need to have more than just Aph in your life. What about when she's hanging out with Aaron? Huh? You need someone else to hang out with."

"Shut up Garroth." He gritted his teeth.

"He's got a point, Zane." Aph touched his shoulder gently.

"I found my cuffs! They're a little rusty, but they work! C'mere, you two!" Laurance crept up behind Zane, and snapped it onto his right arm. He then lunged at me, yanking Zane with him.

"Ow!" Zane cried as he lay face down on the floor. Laurance put the other cuff nicely on my left arm, and stood back to admire his handiwork. Zane was sitting on the floor rubbing his wrist, and I was examining the handcuff.

"Laurance, you're sure these will come off?" It wasn't terribly rusty, but the keyhole was a little rough around the edges.

"I just tested them out, they're fine. Mostly." He whispered to Garroth. Zane heard though, and started to tremble.

"Laurance. I swear to Irene. If these don't come off.." Zane threatened.

Before anyone could respond, the lights  flickered back to life. Everyone cheered as the TV shone brightly, displaying the unstarted Mario Kart race from earlier.

"Whelp, it was great having you all, but we need to sleep sometime. Bye!" Travis forced everyone out the door, and slammed it behind them.

"It looks like someone is ready to go night-night." I said teasingly. Travis flushed hot pink and grinned sheepishly.

"I don't take late nights super well." He said.

"Heh. He burns out at 9, without fail. It's awful when we're trying to watch a movie or something." Garroth grinned.

"Well, I guess I'm going. Bye!" I attempted to walk, but was yanked back. "Oh. Yeah. Well, what're we gonna do here, Zane?"

"Look, I'm not going to stop everything in my life just because we're handcuffed together. We're going to my house." Zane strode to the door, towing me behind.

"O- okay then. Bye guys, see you tomorrow to get the cuffs off!" I called as we left.

Hi again! I just want to let you know that I totally ship Zanemau, but since this is a Zane X Reader, and Aphmau needs another guy... I have plans for everyone, and this is the only way.
