Clare Thompson was walking to the side of the house, and dodged a couple of people who were going into the house.

      "Ok....." She mused pulling out her phone. She was flipping through her instagram when she heard a sound behind her. Then she felt someone grab her from behind. By her neck. It cut off her air supply, not letting her breathe, let alone scream. It was a silent struggle, but eventually she passed out. Then she was dragged into the garage, and left to lay there.

May saw Trevor when she came back out side. He waved at her.
   "Hi!" He said.
    "Hi! What's up?" She asked. Trevor shrugged.

   "Nothing. Do you wanna drink?" He asked.  She nodded, grinning. They each got cokes and sat on the top steps of the deck that led to the pool.

     Trevor was really funny and cute. May loved his laugh. Then he put his arm around her. She blushed and then saw Marina. She was in the pool, and she winked at May. May winked back, then returned to talking to Trevor.

        "Oh, and Civil War? Wow! I went on on Caps side, then came put confused as who's side I should be on. I mean, I ended up still with team Cap, but still." He was saying.

    "Woah! It was that confusing? " may asked. She had to admit, she had a bit of a nerdy side. Trevor nodded.

     "Yep!" He laughed. "You know, I never realized how cool you were May. "

     She grinned. "Thanks."

     Then came the scream. "CLARE! Oh My God SOMEBODY! COME HERE!" screamed Joshua Walker. Everyone leapt to their feet.  Joshua lead them to the garage where Clare lay, unconscious. May stared, horrified.

   "Is she dead?" Asked one of the freshman.

    "I don't think so." Said Trevor. He picked her up. "Can one of you drive her to the hospital or call the police?"

     "Already called!" Yelled a senior. Trevor nodded, then took her to the house, laying her down on a couch. Everyone had followed. They whispered among themselves. May looked for Marina and saw her staring grimly at Clare.  May ignored this however and looked back at Trevor.

     There was a knock on the door and everyone noticed the flashing lights of red and blue outside.

      "Hello? Police. Open up." Said the officer. The door was opened and he walked in. The man was slim and clean shaven. His hair was black, and he looked to be mid to late twenties.

     "Officer Charles. Now, what happened?" They all started talking at once but he held up a hand. "Maybe we could interview you all separately. My partner, officer Kate shall talk to the girls, I the boys. Meanwhile, the girl will be loaded up onto the ambulance. Let's get to it!!"

And so it went. After their interview, everyone left.

     "Nice party bro!- see ya at school!-- Bye Trevor!-- Maia! Come on!-- Ok! Bye!-- Has anyone seen my towel?-- See ya!-- wait! My flip flops!"   And Trevor sat on his couch, nodding and waving, a cold coke in his hand. Soon it was only Marina, May, and Trevor left in the house, but Marina soon left.

      "Hey. Do you need help cleaning up?" May offered. He smiled.

     "Yeah. Thanks May."

      They cleaned up the cokes and wrappers and picked up stray pieces of clothing. A flip-flop, a wet T-shirt, etc.

      "See ya at school Trevor." May said, and went for the door, placing a trashbag by the deck.

      "May? Do you want me to walk you home? You know....Cuz of what happened to Clare ..."

        She nodded. They walked in silence. When they got to her house he hugged her. "Be careful." He said, then walked off. As soon as she got to her room, she was assaulted with questions from Marina. Her mother and father had been out of town, so she avoided that interaggation. Marina however was full of questions about Trevor. But May was set on Clare.

      "So, who do you think attacked Clare?' May asked Marina. She shrugged, but smirked.

     "Well, I feel bad and all, but she getting knocked out really cleared a path for you didn't it." She giggled. May looked at her incredulously.

     "Mar! How could you say that?" May exclaimed. Marina just shrugged. "Fine! Let's go to sleep."

      And they did.
