Chapter 55
Third person pov
Things seemed to settle down. They trained hard for the Sports Festival, and worked hard in class as anyone might. Lillian tore through two more bottles of eye drops. Aizawa shouldn't be proud at how fast she was going through them, but he was. She was really pushing her quirk to its fullest, and it seemed she'd extended her time before she got stomach pains by ten seconds since starting.
The festival was fast approaching, and the Meme Three was nervous. How could they not be? The whole world would have their eyes on them. It was nerve wracking. Hitoshi had had a breakdown twice now. Lillian was still numbed from the whole kidnapping and USJ thing so she just sort of laughed hysterically at times until she cried. Neito was the only one who seemed fine with it. Then again, he didn't have stage fright.
Lillian had been talking to Hound Dog everyday. They hadn't talked about the USJ. Just more about her childhood and her friends. Lillian had hesitantly explained that she was almost mad at herself for discovering it. Things had been going so well with her not-parents before, and living in an ignorant bliss had held its perks. But now... thinking of them saddened her. It made her almost sick to know what they did. That they'd simply take a child. It made bile bubble up her throat and tears sting her eyes.
But that brought them to now, five days before the festival. People were stressing. Iida's arm was boi-ing non-stop, and Ochako had shrieked twice in the span of a minute. Aizawa wasn't in the room yet, thus leaving them to their panicked devices as they fretted over the festival to come. Todoroki was trying to talk to Lillian, who was a little confused as to why he wanted to know about her parents, if she had siblings, and how exactly her quirk worked.
Outside the room, Aizawa and Mic were faced with a dilemma.
"Please." Hound Dog pressed his hands together. "Let me be her-ruff-therpawist. I'm qualified, and she's already comfurtable with me."
Aizawa's eyes narrowed, and Mic peeked over the tops of his glasses. It was true that Lillian had taken a liking to Hound Dog. She didn't exactly look forward to talking about her feelings, but she definitely trusted him and thought he was, quote, 'really good at his job and too nice for his own good.' But with more stuttering.
"...We'll consider." Mic said after a moment. Aizawa gave a single nod. Hound Dog looked ready to collapse from relief.

They were in the locker room when Ochako and Mina both let out shrieks.
Hero training was really pushing them for the sports festival, so everyone had been eager to get out of their sweaty uniforms. Lillian's locker was thankfully in the corner, so any changing she did was pretty out of view from the other girls. Her blazer was only half buttoned when a hysterical Ochako grabbed her.
"Freeze him!" She squealed, eyes wide with horror. Her gaze drifted to the open locker everyone had backed away from, and her entire body tensed. Mineta stared back with a red face and drool dribbling from the corner of his mouth. Horror immediately filled Lillian as she raised her hand to block Momo from view so she didn't accidentally freeze her too. Mineta was suddenly paralyzed.
Now that she wasn't being stared at, Lillian felt rage fill her. Mineta had been on the girls since day one! Lillian couldn't count the number of times on both hands he'd ogled her and her friends. It was tiring and she was... she was done! Why did they have to deal with this?! Didn't Mr. Aizawa once expel a whole class?
She didn't like being stared at like she was a piece of meat, but that wasn't the real issue here. She could have dealt with it if it were just her. She'd have been fine! But these were her friends. She chatted with them everyday. She texted them in their all-girls group chat every evening after school, sometimes talking into the late hours of the night. She knew them. They knew her. They all cared about one another.
Lillian pulled her UA hoodie from her locker, tugging it over her head as she stomped over. The girls were all comforting each other, and Mina looked near tears as the freckled girl ripped the perverted boy from the confines of the locker. The pink-haired girl had accidentally burned through the strap of her bra with some acid, which meant she'd had to replace it.
Of course they'd all turned to give her privacy while she swiftly changed it out. But Mineta...
God, she felt disgusting. Knowing someone had had their eyes on her with thoughts like that running rampant in their mind. It hurt her as a person. She wasn't bold, but watching the usually-peppy Mina hold back tears of humiliation and disgust made her sick to her stomach. It made her want to scream until her throat was raw. How dare he look at her friends. How dare he touch them without permission!
"I'll be right back." She ground out, feeling her eyes sting slightly. She blinked, tugging at her ponytail when it brushed the back of her neck weird. With a frown on her face, she stormed out of the locker room with the pervert in tow. "Hitoshi needs a spot anyway."
They all stared after her with eyes wide with relief and hope, praying to god their torment would be over.
Lillian felt her anger rise and her eyes burn more as she marched towards the teacher work room. She wasn't sure if Mr. Aizawa would be there, but it didn't have to be him. Anyone would do. So long as they had authority, they would be able to do it. Lillian didn't give a shit how Mineta went, so long as he was gone.
Mineta didn't weigh much. A part of her was heavily tempted to just throw him over the railing right then and there. She knew Nezu would see, and it wasn't like she wanted to kill him. Really. Well, maybe just a little. She certainly would cry if something happened to him. Could you blame her? He'd been sexually harassing them since day one!
Mic, the only one in the teacher work room, jumped as the door slammed open. His coffee immediately sprayed across his desk as Lillian came storming in, and he choked. It wasn't that he was surprised to see Lillian in particular. He was just surprised to see her with bloodshot, glowing red eyes and a floating ponytail, looking pissed as hell. He gaped at her. His breath escaped him as he gazed at her. Was he hallucinating?
"Expel him." She demanded, her voice a hiss as she tossed a frozen Mineta onto the desk. "He was in a locker. I don't know how he- Mina was-" She clenched her fists and blinked, looking down. Mic openly gaped, eyes wide as saucers. There was no fucking way. Of course he'd noticed the similarities, but this was a whole new level. She had glowing red eyes! And floating hair!
"U-Uh..." Mic had some serious questions. Lillian didn't even look aware of her predicament. He glanced nervously at the door. The evidence was damning, but he didn't want anyone else to walk in and see. Certainly not until he was sure and could do research on his own. He had a vague idea... oh, god dammit. God dammit.
"Please?" Lillian tried desperately. He blinked back into reality. Right, this little grape bastard had been peeking on students. Including Lillian. He pried his eyes from her glowing red ones--holy shit he wanted to scream--to glare at the paralyzed creep on his perfectly good paperwork.
"You're expelled." He told the frozen boy. He looked back to Lillian, who looked slightly calmer at his firm words. "He's expelled. I'll verify it right now."
Lillian deflated with relief, the glow in her eyes fading. She jumped slightly as her ponytail thumped down and against her back, whipping around with clear surprise. Mic watched her nervously as she did so, sweat pouring down his face. He knew what this meant. Of course he knew what this meant. He'd been sort of expecting it, but this just about made him certain of it. Somehow, someway, Lillian was Aizawa's kid.
Fuck, he was losing the dad war!
Mic had never expelled anyone before, but he was happy to now. He shoved Mineta off his desk and let him bounce off the ground, pulling his laptop towards him. He turned on Boom Boom Pow by The Black-Eyed Peas because he could, turning it on full blast and cracking his knuckles as he prepared to delete Mineta from their system. Lillian happily plopped down next to him, eyes bright.
Vlad King came in at some point. He turned around and left not seconds later.
Mic let Lillian press the final button to verify the process and complete the deed, and in turn Lillian unfroze Mineta and left him to Mic so the blonde could dispose of him and his trash ass properly. Happily, she bounced back to the locker room. She was sure they were all back in the classroom by now, but she still needed to button her shirt anyway. She was overjoyed. Ecstatic, even, at her accomplishment! She whipped out her phone as she walked.
The Meme Three
Freckled mess™:
Hitoshi, you're welcome
Purble Eraserhead Stan:
What's that mean???
Queen:
She's blessing us with her existence. That's all you need to know.
Freckled mess™:
I opened a spot in the hero course up for you!
Queen:
Okay who the fuck did you kill-
Purble Eraserhead Stan:
Oh my god what you killed Kaminari for me??
Freckled mess:
I deleted Mineta
Queen:
Uh,,, deleted him how exactly¿
Lillian fixed her shirt and put her blazer on, rushing off to class happily right after. Mina would definitely be relieved to hear he was gone for good. She owed Mr. Mic her heart and soul for this. She wanted to cry. This was the best! Now, they didn't even have to deal with him staring at them during the sports festival. Well, at least not close up. They couldn't stop him or any other perverts from attending and sitting in the stands, or watching from home.
Lillian pulled the door to Class 1-A open and stepped in. Aizawa looked up from his clipboard.
"And what's your excuse?" Aizawa raised a brow. The girls had said Lillian would be late, but nobody had specified why. They girls were all antsy though, and Mineta was missing. Lillian smiled brightly at him, and he felt his heart clench at how happy it seemed. He shifted only slightly outwardly. Seriously, did he have cancer?
Lillian put her hands on her hips proudly. "I expelled Mineta." She announced. The girls immediately broke out into cheers and swarmed to the front to hug Lillian and profusely thank her. Aizawa blinked boredly, his own pride swelling. Lillian had just expelled a student, apparently. He didn't know how, but...
In the back, Todoroki accidentally snapped his pencil, his eyes wide.

Mic had gone home in a rush as soon as school ended. He now sat surrounded by boxes upon boxes of photos. He shuffled through each one carefully yet frantically as he searched for any clues. He somewhat knew what he was looking for. In his chest, his heart beat rapidly. He didn't know why he felt so desperate as he ripped through box after box of memories. His throat felt tight and his shoulders ached from how much tension was bunched in them.
His mind flashed back to the moment Lillian entered the teacher work room. Never had she looked more like his best friend. She was a precious kid, and his favorite little listener. And apparently, she was also Aizawa's kid. He didn't know how. Well, he thought he might. He just couldn't be sure. He had to-
He stared at the photo before him, lips parted in slightly surprise.
It was a picture of their second year graduation party. It was, to date, one of the only parties Mic had ever gotten Aizawa to attend. It was a shaky picture of the dark-haired man in question talking to a girl with chocolate brown hair, which wasn't as common a color as one might think. Mic could remember vividly shoving a cup of punch he knew was spiked into Aizawa's hands that night. He remembered assuring him it was fine.
Mic scrambled to grab the yearbook corresponding to the time the photo was taken, pulling it into his lap and rapidly flipping to Class 2-B, where he recognized the girl from. Sure enough, there was she was right in the beginning. Mayako Aki, with chocolate brown hair that hung around her shoulders and bright, familiar blue eyes. Eyes that Mic saw every day. Freckles were sprinkled across the teen's face. He took a shaky breath. He knew that smile. He loved seeing that smile! He'd seen it not hours ago, when Lillian waved to him goodbye and thanked him for expelling Mineta!
He remembered her from the sports festival. Her quirk was anger related, he recalled. If she got mad enough, things around her would freeze. They'd come to a complete stop. He took a few deep breaths, dropping the yearbook and bringing his hands up to his face. Holy shit. He knew Aizawa had slept with someone that night by mistake, but he'd never known who. God dammit, he'd never known.
Lillian's quirk froze things, like hers. They had the same eyes, down to the exact shape. Their smiles were nearly identical, and they both had freckles. There was absolutely no way this wasn't the woman he was looking for. This had to be his little listener's mother! God, all the pieces were falling together and forming this picture that made too much sense not to be real.
Lillian had gotten angry today, and though it hadn't frozen things, it had caused her eyes to light up red, and her hair to drift upwards as though carried by an invisible draft of air. Mic pulled his glasses off, sniffling a little as he took a few more deep breaths. Lillian... Lillian was Shota's daughter. She had to be. It all fit. She was the right age, and Aizawa's spitting image.
Mic glanced at the slightly blurred picture of his drunk best friend talking to the brunette. Only one question remained now, and it shook him to the core. Him, who was usually so upbeat and calm.
Did he tell Shota, and if so, how?
