First the art.

I doodled this one in the back of my handout while taking this cursed class.

Just paper and pencil and my own hand.

I like it, it's creepy.

Also, I have to do my art exam soon (5 hours yeah!) and since I have to do this weird Supporting Art (which means what I'm drawing now should be what I draw later) and I want to ask your opinion.

Yea, well, I had to choose between sketching, product design or book covers and cartoons. I did a book cover once (Demigod Files ;)) and so I chose sketching.

And since I chose sketching, I have to choose to either draw plants, make a self-portrait, or draw and old person.

Obviously, I chose the plant.

Because I ain't gonna draw myself.

I am not so proud of it, but then again I have to make another one for back up.

So, uh, what do you think? Would this get me an A (not the A for effort kind)?

Now for some ranting about art and well, a lot of angst.

Guys, I might have to quit my art class.

To start off my mom NEVER liked me doing art, like she did for my brother.

BUT YANNO WHAT MY BROTHER IS A PRODUCT DESIGNER NOW.

But now since I have to join this stupid class to prepare me for these national tests, I have to drop it.

And my mom, I'm pretty sure she's smiling.

This is just this once but f you mom. You never encourage me to be what I want to be and literally tell me to DO SOMETHING RATIONAL IN THE FUTURE.

What she means is: BE LIKE ME, BE A BANKER.

I'M SORRY BUT I WANT TO BE A FREAKING ENVIRONMENTALIST NOT SOME BANKER IN FINANCE.

I'm sorry if you don't like science or biology and think that art is a freaking waste of time and money, but that's what I love and you NEVER encourage me.

Guys, what's so wrong about loving art?

Or having a love of the environment and wanting to help save nature?

We live in a world where we evolve around technology and money. I am a part of it but that doesn't mean I'm not blind by the damage we did to earth.

I mean why else are we looking for a second earth? This is our only home and frankly your latest technology won't happen without the earth.

So it's not all about money, okay.

Also, just because I love art doesn't mean I'm dragging my grades down and becoming stupider. I'm doing more than well in my class and I'm sorry but mom you don't know a single thing about me.

Now I'm literally just wondering what the hell I am supposed to do when I want to apply for college.

Better work my butt off for this one, because I'm pretty sure my mom won't pay me. Scholarship it is.

Ugh, I'm sorry guys.

I might have more random artwork lying around, but just to make me happy, can you please request?

I never ask for payment, these things I do because I love it and you guys requesting will help me nurse the wound of my loss of art.

So, yeah, sorry for the rant (again)
