IJN Nagato, was one of the proud Battleships of the Japanese Empire, but after the second world war ended, after seeing all her comrades and her country her, Nagato was given to the US Navy and officially became an American warship.

After several years of neglect, Nagato re-entered the American naval service under the name USS Nagato and participated in the Korean war, after the Korean war ended, Nagato re-entered service in the Cuban Missile Conflict along with other American warships. Nagato got her retrofit after receiving recommendations from several admirals.

After the retrofit was completed, the American President at that time officially christened Nagato into America's official warship and was sent to Vietnam to beat the shit out of the communists. But in 1974, Nagato was hit by a suicide bomber and suffered damage to the hull and stern. She was dragged back to the Puget Sound naval station in Bremerton. After a year of repairs, Nagato returned to Vietnam and transported dozens or even hundreds of American troops who had withdrawn from Indochina.

In 1989, Nagato along with two American carriers, the USS Enterprise and Coral Sea along with several destroyers went to Panama and began bombing the coast and was followed by amphibious attacks by American marines. After finishing in Panama, Nagato was again hit by a suicide bombing which resulted in damage to her D turret and damage to the propeller. Again Nagato was dragged into Puget Sound.

then in 1990, the Gulf War began, and Nagato in the next two to three decades, her life was full of wars and conflicts, oh and of course suicide bombings.

And finally, in 2025, she got another massive Retrofit by completely dismantling her hull. moved the superstructure further back, removed all turrets, installed 3 nuclear reactors, installed approximately 700-856 VLS cells of various variations, 6 Phalanx CIWS, Several RIM-7 Sea Sparrows, and Eight 5"/38 caliber Mark 12 guns, four each on either side of the ship. The current Nagato is also 390 meters long, 60 meters wide, can carry two AH-1 Cobra helicopters, 1 Chinook and three RQ-2 Pioneers.

Overall, Nagato is a floating Fortress with the armaments she carries, even the Americans secretly put some....cough, nuclear warheads in Nagato's VLS cell. Nagato got this retrofit because of the increasingly heated conflict in the South China Sea and America certainly wanted to assert their dominance, so they built Nagato with a disgusting number of weapons. But just as Nagato was about to reach the South China Sea, she suddenly disappeared into a bright light.

Nagato prefers to use her bare hands when she fights, because the captain of her ship was a former SEALS Navy member and Nagato inherited a lot of memories from her crew, both when he was with the Imperial Japanese Navy and when she was with the United States Navy.
