Thump Thump Thump

The thumping sound was getting louder and clearer, with a groan, the little girl who was on the deck of a warship woke up and groaned and sighed at the same time. This girl has long black hair with a Hime cut, Fox ears, several gold ornaments are clearly visible on her head, she is wearing the uniform of an Imperial Japanese officer. The girl blinked her eyes and cupped her cheeks.

??? : I became a human?!

shouted the girl in panic before finally taking a deep breath and slapping herself hard enough.

This girl is the USS Nagato, the last battleship still in the service, she has for some reason become human and not knows where she is.

Nagato was confused and started by doing a system check.

Nagato : opens VLS hatch.... *mumbles*

All of Nagato's VLS cells opened making Nagato smile with satisfaction, she closed them again and checked the ship's systems one by one. from Radar, AEGIS, propulsion and so on. Nagato also checked her GPS but only got a 15 kilometer wide display, a bit disappointing but still useful.

Nagato also with quite a lot of effort, managed to make the ship move, and Nagato set sail. While sailing Nagato familiarized herself with jumping, push ups, sit ups, jogging around her Hull and several other activities. After getting used to it, Nagato readied and launch her RQ-2 UAV for reconnaissance.

Nagato sat in the front bow and felt the sea breeze on her face. Nagato smiled widely and looked at the setting sun with a melancholy gaze.

Nagato : Ahh... Hi no Maru, *shakes* it's all in the past now. I'm not part of them anymore.

Nagato said with a bitter smile as she recalled her past when she was given away to the US Navy, luckily she wasn't included in Operation Crossroads which she was looking for on the internet. Nagato when she was still a ship already had her own consciousness, but couldn't do anything, except open the internet. And witnessing how degenerates is her Crew.

Nagato laughed at the memory, she felt like a mother to them all. A figure who always protects them when they are in trouble. That's why she feels a little conflicted, her crew could die as a result of this Isekai thingy and they won't be able to see their family and friends anymore.

But Nagato knew, blaming herself wasn't the answer, she was going to find out what was the reason she became human and who the culprit was who brought her to this strange place.

When the sun went down and the moon rose, Nagato was already in her ship's kitchen cooking the sweet martabak she had seen in her old world.

The taste is very delicious, especially the crust is so perfect. While eating the cake she made, Nagato just smiled as she thought about the food she made. As far as she knows, the name of this food is often debated between sweet Martabak or moonlit. It really illustrates that even if you got rid of all the conflicts in the world, humans would still have reasons to dislike each other. Even though it's weird like Pizza with Pineapple.

After she finished eating, Nagato washed her cooking and eating utensils, while humming her memories of the past with a bitter smile.

Nagato nodded in satisfaction upon seeing her clean work and walked to her sleeping room which was close to the ship's bridge. After changing her officer clothes into black pajamas with white stripes, Nagato fell asleep on her comfortable bed.

Tommorow Day.

Nagato woke up from her sleep and stretched her body. Nagato looked at her hands and muttered.

Nagato : this is all real huh... Oh well, looks like I can retire here and rest in peace... or maybe even have a family... *blushes*

Nagato slapped her cheeks and got off the bed, she took a shower and changed into a typical United States Navy combat BDU. Nagato didn't forget to make blue tea and enjoy the sunrise from the bridge of her ship.

Nagato was enjoying the peace in this new world, hopefully nothing happened this afternoon. After finishing tea, Nagato took fishing gear from the captain's room, don't ask why the captain brought fishing gear.

Nagato spent several hours fishing while humming a tune that she hummed when washing the dishes last night.

Until finally suddenly her fox ears stood up and she heard a static sound.

Nagato nodded firmly ash she directed her ship to the west and started sailing at a speed of 45 knots, a fantastic speed for a battleship or now an Arsenal Ship. Nagato again launched her UAV into the air, and this time she launched two.

Kaga: aaagghhh! How dare you hurt my body! this body belongs only to big sister Akagi!

Kaga shouted while enduring the pain from the missile Saturation attack earlier. It didn't just stop there, suddenly the cloud seemed to be penetrated by something to cause a big hole, and suddenly The mass production ship Siren they had brought to attack the Pearl Harbor base exploded and broke in two. From a distance Kaga saw a warship with silver color and flying a flag that looked very much like the Eagle Union Flag and under the strange Eagle Union flag, there were benders with the red sun symbol.

Akagi, an aircraft carrier from the First Carrier Division saw the ship and paled as she recognized the superstructure of the ship.

Akagi : Kaga dear... Do you recognize that superstructure? *nervous*

from the deck of the ship a lot of smoke came out and dozens of light sticks flew towards their mass-produced Siren ships with one hit enough to sink them.

Kaga : Isn't that an Ironblood weapon? V-2? They really are imitators *grunts*

Akagi : Kaga, let's attack that girl, she can be a threat to our plan.

Akagi and Kaga agreed and began to focus their entire plane on a mysterious ship that had the same superstructure and hull as their Leader, Nagato.

The dive bombers from Akagi started plunging from a height, but before they reached the point of attack, they were already shredded up by Nagato's CIWS Phalanx which was spewing hot lead like there was no tomorrow.

Nagato's secondary gun fired a salvo of Type-3 Sanshikidan shells at the Kaga torpedo bomber attacking from the starboard side. The exploded a few meters from Kaga's plane and spread a very hot fire, destroying all of Kaga's torpedo bombers. Several torpedo bombers that managed to escape were immediately targeted by CIWS Phalanx and RIM-7 Sea Sparrow. It was clear what the fate of the unfortunate torpedo bombers was.

Akagi was getting desperate and decided to carry out a large-scale Kamikaze attack. The 30 dive bombers along with Kaga's few remaining Zeros rushed towards the Nagato Ship. Akagi and Kaga's eyes shone brightly, and that hope was immediately crushed, because Nagato did not suffer any major damage and only suffered damage to the paintwork of her ship.

And from the sky came dozens of blue bombers with white star emblems showering Akagi and Kaga with bombs.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM

The two Shipgirls of the Sakura Empire's first Division carrier ship were badly damaged by the sudden bombing of the blue bombers. It was the USS Enterprise, the De Facto leader of the Eagle Union faction and the ship that received the most medals during the Second World War.

Akagi : kuh.... Azur Lane! Think of it as an official declaration of war!-

The deck of the Akagi Carrier which was their escape transport, was hit by an Exocet missile from Nagato which ALMOST sank Akagi.

Nagato : Damn, they ran away. *grumble*

Enterprise looked at Nagato's ship completely dumbfounded, this was the first time she had seen a ship as big as Nagato. Enterprise took her bow and immediately jumped aboard Nagato's ship to investigate.

While on the deck of the ship, the Enterprise was even more amazed by the appearance of this ship. She could feel a little relieved to see that there was an Eagle Union flag on the flagpole but was a little worried when she saw Hi No Maru also flying with the Star Spangled Eagle.

Nagato: who are you?

Nagato asked Enterprise while holding an AT-4 ready to hit Enterprise in the face with an Anti Tank missile.

Enterprise firmly shook Nagato's hand and looked into her Golden eyes and found it very familiar and that sad and calm gaze.

Enterprise : 'Where have I seen that look? Very familiar...'
