Third Person's POV

We start in Robotnik's oil drilling platforms in the day "Excellent, Snively" Robotnik said appearing on a monitor "It appears that the probes have found another oil lake" He said "It appears that way, sir" Snively said "What are the holding tank oil levels?" Robotnik asks "36 percent capacity, sir. By tonight we should reach 50 percent" Snively said "Oh, I assure you Snively, you will do better than 50 percent, much better" Robotnik said "But, sir, we've been running at maximum power for 10 days..." Snively said "We will go on 10 days if necessary. Understood?" Robotnik asks "Understood, sir" Snively said "There is a world of oil down there, Snively and I shall have it all" Robotnik said.

*Meanwhile at The Great Forest*

"I just don't understand it, Rotor. I calculated the exact proportions of water to sun ratio and energized the soil, but these trees don't respond" Sally said "Yeah. They look pretty sick all right. In fact, a lot of the trees around here aren't looking so hot" Rotor said "Antoine, how are the other trees doing?" Sally asks and Antoine sighs "Oh, not so too very good my princess" Antoine said "How come the trees are dying, Aunt Sally?" Tails asks "Well, I think Robotnik's pollution is spreading farther and farther from the city, honey" Sally said "Well, I am thinking that maybe they die from this horrible fraternizer. Phew!" Antoine said and Tails laughs "Not fraternizer, Antoine. Fertilizer" Tails said and a thunder shows up "What is this?" Antoine asks "Looks like a storm is coming. Maybe some rain will bring these trees back to life" Sally said.

*Meanwhile at the bridge*

"Just put the pedal to the metal and baby we guarantee..." Sonic sings "You'll be juicing to the tenth degree. Crank it supersonic" Brody sings "It don't take any fuel, cuz the rocket's in my pocket and We are wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-ay past cool!" Brody and Sonic finished singing and the two bow to an imaginary audience "Thank you, thank you. Thank you, thank you" Sonic and Brody said as Brody is fishing and a fish jumps out of the river and back in "Whoa! Hang on, fish sticks, cuz we're gonna rock 'n' reel!" Brody said and he gets dragged down the river "Brody!" Sonic said "Whoa! This is one tough tuna!" Brody said as he continues sliding down the river while hanging onto his fishing pole. As he heads to a log and grabs it letting go of his hole "Are you okay love?" Sonic asks worried and Brody coughs spitting water and nodded "I rather have a chili dog anyway" Brody said.

*Later at the Freedom Fighter's Garden*

"And I'll tell ya, that fish stick was so big, he pulled Brody right off the bridge and he water skied behind him for 10 miles!" Sonic said "Then he stole my pole!" Brody said "Bummer. I was ready for some fish sticks" Rotor said "I bet he was big as a tree, huh Brody? Bet it was even big as a house, huh?" Tails asks "You got it, big guy" Brody said "Pardonnez-moi, Brody and Sonic, but are you two thinking we were born tomorrow, hmmm?" Antoine asks "It's all true Ant. A wolf and a hedgehog never lies" Brody said and shakes water out of his ear which landed on the flower. The water on the flower makes it bloom "Whoa!" Sonic said suprised "What's up with thebold flower?" Brody asks suprised "Ah! Fantastique!" Antoine said "Oh my gosh! Brody, what did you do?" Sally asks "I dunno. I just knocked water out of my ear. Like this" Brody said shaking water out of his ear once again, which landed on the crops "Guess it wasn't the water" Brody said "Wow! Cool Brody!" Tails said when the water made the crops grow "I do not believing my ears..." Antoine said "Brody, Sonic? Where did this water come from?" Sally asks "The Great River, near our bridge" Brody said "Then we have to get more of it" Sally said.

*At the Great River*

"Very cool boat" Sonic and Brody said "Gosh, no big deal" Rotor said "Come on man, you're totally hot with the ol' hammer" Brody said "Yeah, but who cares about some nerdy handyman. I'd rather be a superhero like you two. Now that's cool" Rotor said "Can't argue that. When you're right you're right. But it's still a cool boat" Sonic said "Rotor! Look out for the big log!" Antoine said "Just chill and enjoy the scenery, Ant" Brody said and Antoine nodded "Look guys. Those trees are dying, just like the ones in Knothole. Somehow, we have to figure out a way to revive them before the whole forest dies" Sally said "Maybe that weird green water will do it" Brody said and the boat picked up speed "Rotor, why are we gping too fast?" Antoine asks "Yeah, the current is picking up speed" Rotor said "Can't you slow down, Rotor?" Sally asks "I can try" Rotor said "Man, we're really startin' to juice! Hey! What's up?" Sonic asks "I am not liking this too much, Rotor!" Antoine said and everyone screams as the boat enters a whirlpool "My gosh! Where are we?" Sally asks "That's what I'd like to know" Rotor said "Looks like some kind of underground lake" Brody said.

The Freedom Fighters explore the underground, as their boat travels through it "Definitely a dump!" Sonic said "Which means Robotnik can't be far" Sally said and Brody grunts "Crank up the motor, Rote" Brody said "Nicole, check the map file for ‘subterranean’" Sally said "Checking Sally...No subterranean file exists"
Nicole said "Looks like we're on our own, guys" Sally said "In more ways than one. We lost the motor" Rotor said "Lost the m-m-motor? Then how will we getting out of this terrible place?" Antoine asks "Turn up ahead, Antoine" Sally said "Palace guards are not meant for the rowing of the boot, my Princess" Antoine said "Eww! Check this junkberg!" Sonic and Brody said as they found a machine part lying in the water, as the Freedom Fighters try to pull it towards them "Yo, Ant! Angle to the right! Ant!" Brody said but Freedom Fighters had no success on getting the machine part, causing the crack on the boat.

"Nice move, Ant. Ant?" Sonic asks "Antoine? Antoine!?" Sally asks as they all noticed Antoine is gone "Antoine!!" Sally said "I just don't get it. One minute he's here, and then he's gone" Rotor said and Sally sighs "We'll find him, Rote" Brody said "I sure hope so" Sally said "Man, this is some major mong" Sonic said "Oh, now what?" Rotor asks and the four see a waterfall "Waterfall!" Sonic, Brody, Rotor and Sally said "Hang on! I'll give us a little" Brody said getting off the boat and starts running pushing the boat back to not fall down the waterfall "Come on, Brody you can do it!" Sally said "That's it Brody!" Rotor said "Push, love!" Sonic said as Brody got the boat away from the waterfall "That was close. Great job, Brody" Rotor said as Brody pushed the boat onto a different way and climbs back in panting "Brody, you are a very? Very brave wolf"  Sonic said kissing Brody on the cheek "Thank you" Sonic said as Brody's tail wags happily "Anytime, Sonic" Brody said "Guys check out the water" Rotor said and they all look at the water "It's boiling! There's nowhere to go!" Sally said as the water started to break the boat "Yeah there is! Grab on guys!" Brody said as he and Sonic jump onto a vine and they help Rotor and Sally in time.

*In the Plant-Filled cavern*

Sonic, Brody, Sally and Rotor are walking through the cavern "Antoine!" Sally calls out "Ant!" Brody calls "Where are you man?" Sonic asks "Hey, guys. You get the feeling we're being watched?" Rotor asks "By whom?" Brody asks "The plants?" Sonic asks "I dunno. I just feel somethibg watching us" Rotor said and Sally laughs a bit "You're just paranoid, Rotor. Oh! Look at this beautiful flower" Sally said but she leans back as the flower tried to bite her "Man! What is this flower?" Sonic asks "A snapdragon?" Brody asks "Sonic! Brody! Behind you two!" Sally said aa the snapdragons try to bite them "All right, that's it! Now you're making us mad!" Sonic and Brody said as they spin around the snapdragons tying them up "That's what you get for being rude!" Sonic said "Sonic! Brody! Sally's gone!" Rotor said "Gone?!" Sonic and Brody ask and look around to see she's missing "She was right here next to me, and then she disappeared!" Rotor said "Sally! Sally!" Sonic and Brody call out.

*Deep into the Cavern*

"Sally! Sally!" Rotor calls out "Man, this looks like some kind of palace" Brody said as they find a throne "Yeah but what's with this smell? Just like Robotropolis" Rotor said "Doesn't anybody take out the trash around here? Eww!" Brody said "Wow look at this" Rotor said referring to the thrine when they hear a noise "Wait here, Rote" Sonic said "Sonic and I will scope it out" Brody said and the two head off to figure out what made the noise "Ant? Sally?" Sonic asks "You guys in here?" Brody asks when something approaches them "Hmm... Brody's fishing pole" Rotor said when he heard Sonic and Brody shout "Sonic?! Brody?!" Rotor asks as a creature slowly walks holding Sonic and Brody in one hand "Bail, Rote!" Sonic said "Warp ten!" Brody said and Rotor tries to run off but trips and falls down a trash-covered hole "Rote! Rote! Let us go, man!" Sonic said "Our main walrus needs help!" Brody said "Look what you have done to my world, surface creatures!" The monster said "Pal, we know you're having a bad hair day" Brody said "But we don't have a clue what you're talking about!" Sonic said "I will show you two what I am talking about" the monster said walking away.

*Meanwhile Further Underground*

Rotor ended up landing in more of the green water "what is this stuff? Wait a sec... it's that green water" Rotor said and sees rocks blocking the other way which is empty of water "No wonder this place is so green" Rotor said unblocking the path making the water go down that way and he puts some in a bottle and walks off unaware the water was returning life to the forest.

*Meanwhile at the Pollution Pit*

"This is terrible. Terrible! I have my whole life behind me! This is all your fault Brody the wolf and Sonic the hedgehog!" Antoine said "Now, why is it their fault, Antoine?" Sally asks "Because.... they are the heroes, but they cannot get us out of this terrible place!" Antoine said "Yeah, because this pollution pit zapped all our juice!" Sonic and Brody said struggling "Rotor!" Sally calls out as a one eyed gator surfaces and Antoine gasps "Sonic! Brody! The level's rising! Try again for the power ring!" Sally said.

*Meanwhile with Rotor*

Rotor walks through the caverns and sees something in the water and smells it "Oil" Rotor said and looks up seeing robots "Robotnik!" Rotor said as the ground starts shaking as debris falls to the oil and a snake like robot sees him "Whoa! What is that?" Rotor asks and dodges it shot and runs off. He ends up finding the others and saves them getting the power rings to Sonic and Brody, "Thanks Rote. You're a hero, man" Sonic and Brody said patting him on the back "A big hero" Sally said kissing Rotor's cheek "Oui. As one big hero to another, I salute you, Rotor" Antoine said "Aw, it's no big deal...." Rotor said and Antoine screams when the ground shakes "We gotta jam! It's the Snake Probes!" Rotor said "Snake Probes?" Sally asks "They're laser-powered diggers. Robotnik is using them to drill for oil" Rotor said "Aw, great. We should have known Robotnik was behind this!" Sally said "Let's juice!" Sonic and Brody said and they all start running away. Brody and Sonic stop at a corner and gasp "Sonic, Brody, what... Oh my gosh!" Sally said as they run into the monster named Kraken "There is no escape, surface dwellers. You will die from this pollution, as all my people have" Kraken said "You keep talking bog guy and we'll just keep on wondering what you're saying" Brody said "I was once a king of a beautiful world, but everything was destroyed by you surface creatures. And I *cough* am the only one left" Kraken said "This is not our pollution" Sonic said "There's Nother surface creature. His name is Robotnik. He's polluted our world as well as yours" Sally said as the snake probe attacks "I am making a tasty retreat!" Antoine said "Hold it, Ant!" Brody said "We've gotta help the big guy!" Sonic said as the snake probe fires its laser at Sonic and Brody, as they dodge it "Rote, where are these things coming from?" Brody asks "The surface. Robotnik's drilling platform" Rotor said "We're going up!" Sonic and Brody said heading to the surface.

"Man this is major!" Sonic said as the two run up the platform while at the same time Robotnik and Snively where in a hover car "Isn't it lovely, Snively?" Robotnik asks "A sight to behold, Sir" Snively said and Robotnik sees something on a screen "Snively, shoo those flies off the screen" Robotnik said "I'm-I'm afraid those are not flies, Sir. It's the hedgehog and the wolf" Snively said "Gah! Sound code red!" Robotnik said making the alarm go off as the swatbots showed up to stop Sonic and Brody "Activate all snake probes!" Robotnik said "Activating all snake probes, sir" a swatbot in the command room said when Sonic and Brody jumped on his lap "Quick question!" Sonic said "Can this chair go in reverse?" Brody asks as the two press a button on the chair making it go backwards taking the swatbot out of the room "Whoa! Yup" sonic and Brody said as Brody looks over the controls "Snake probes... emergency destruct. Yeah! Our kinda button" Brody said pressing it making the snake probes go back to the surfave and self destruct "Nonononono, this can't be happening. Nonono NO!" Robotnik said "Past cool, hedgehog/wolf. Past cool" Brody and Sonic said highfiving "Now I wonder, what'll happen if we punch all these buttons" Sonic said "Only one way to find out..." Brody said winking "And that's why I love you hun" Sonic said and the two start pressing all the buttons making music and thry sing "Yo put the pedal to the metal and baby I guarantee..." Brody sings "You'll be juicing to the tenth degree. Crank it supersonic" Sonic sing and the two wrap an arm around eachother "It don't take any fuel, cuz the rocket's in our pockets and We're wa-a-a-a-a-a-a-ay past cool!" Brody and Sonic sing together when they see the place is about to blow "Uh, oh. We're outta here" Sonic and Brody said running away as the platform explodes.

*Back at the Underground*

"Well, here goes..." Rotor said dropping the green water he collected in the lake and it cleans the pollution in the water "Oh, it's beautiful" Sally said "Yeah. Too bad there's not enough for the Great Forest" Brody said "Take this Sonic and Brody. Maybe it will help" Kraken said giving them a small container "Thanks big guy. And uh, let me and Brody know if you ever wanna go fishing" Sonic said and they all laugh.

*Later at the Freedom Fighters Garden*

Sally dip the water in the container on a dead crop "Okay. Keep your fingers crossed guys" Sally said and the plant starts to grow "Alright! Cool! Sonic and Brody!" Taild cheered "Well, that's a start" Sally said "Yep" Brody said and he and Sonic walk to Rotor "How's it feel to be a hero, Rote?" Sonic asks and Rotor groans "Exhausting. From now on, I'm happy to be a handyman" Rotor said and they all share a laugh as this chapter comes to an end.
