Third Person's POV

Uncle Chuck and Markus sneak around as flying swatbots fly by. When the coast is clear, they make a run for it to a pair of goblin statues. Markus walks up to one, pulls the head off and Uncle Chuck sticks a note inside the hollow body and once Markus puts the head back in its place, the two head off. Sally is looking through a pair of supped up binoculars, monitoring a lightning fast Sonic and Brody as they goof off while dodging lasers. They eventually find the time to down a chili dog "I don't believe it! Actually, I do believe it!" Sally said annoyed and walks over to Bunnie and Dulcy "Ohhhh! Sometimes that hedgehog and that wolf make me so MAD!" Sally said.

Meanwhile Sonic and Brody continually dodge whatever the robots throw at them "Whoa!" Sonic and Brody said "HEDGEHOG AND WOLF. PRIORITY ONE. HEDGEHOG AND WOLF. PRIORITY ONE" a flying swatbot said as Sonic and Brody take cover inside an abandoned car as the robots pass on by. Later the two meet the others back at the safe spot in no time "Waaaay cool!" Sonic and Brody said fist bumping and Sally was tapping her foot "Sorry we're late, Sally, but we hadn't--" Sonic said "Sonic and Brody, I cannot believe that you two would jeopardize our mission for a stupid chili dog!" Sally said "A chili dog? Us?!" Sonic and Brody asks and they belches "Oops..." Sonic and Brody said "Don't tell me you two forgot to check the blind drop?" Sally asks "Ooooooh-k" Sonic and Brody nervous "Ok what?!" Sally asks "We won't tell you we forgot to to check the blind drop..." Brody said and he and Sonic laugh a bit "Haha! Chill, Sally! I'll be back in a flash!" Sonic said running off and comes back with the note in hand and starts juggling the note around "Am I cool or what?" Sonic asks and Sally grabs the note "Heeey!" Sonic said "You're 'what'?.... Oh my gosh, listen to this 'Cancel mission, Robotnik has moved roboticizer. When we find out where, We'll let you know' " Sally said reading the note "Man, that drags big time!" Brody said "What now, Sally-girl?" Bunnie asks "Wait. Go back to Knothole and wait" Sally said "Not my best event. You guys go ahead, I've got some stuff to do!" Brody said "Brody, you're not going after chili dogs for you and Sonic!" Sally said "Chili dog? Moi? Heheh! Silly girl..." Brody said running away and Sonic waves.

*Meanwhile at Robotnik's lair*

Snively is sitting in Robotnik's chair "And be sure to replace the paper towels with those soft ones I like!" Snively said "YES SIR" the computer said "Ahhh.... decisions, decisions...." Snively said when a mechanical hand reaches out and spins the chair around making Snively gasp as Robotnik pulls him out of his chair by the collar "Uh... Good evening, sir!" Snively said "Listen closely, Snively. I'm leaving now to erradicate that little freedom fighter uprising in the northern frontier..." Robotnik said "Very good sir" Snivley said "And while I'm away, I want you to take care of things, or you'll end up as the paperweight I always wanted... understood?!" Robotnik asks "Perfectly, sir!" Snively said "Good!" Robotnik said throwing Snively back into the chair "Ha-have a nice trip, sir!" Snively said "Miserable toad...." he mumbled.

*At the same time in Robotropolis*

Brody finds a chili dog vending machine, gives it a smack and out pots two fresh chili dogs "Get along, little doggie! The wolf and his hedgehog are huuuuungry! Through the teeth and past the 'ol gums, look out tummy, here it-!" Brody said when he hears a swatbot "KEEP MOVING. KEEP MOVING" a swatbot said and Brody stops and looks through a type of vent cover and sees a group of Freedom Fighters that have been captured by the swatbots "ALPHA PATROL IN ROUTE TO ROBOTICIZER. REQUEST CLEARANCE" a swatbot said "The roboticizer....? Ohhh...." Brody said "BREAKER-ECHO-RED-ZERO-ZERO-NINER" a swatbot said and continues on. Brody chows down his food and makes his next move "I'm outta here!" Brody said and tries forcing open a man hole cover "Eh! Neh! Come on metalhead! Oh, so you wanna play hardball, huh? Check this!" Brody said uses his super spin and forces his way through, making it back on to the main ground of the city. At the very gate he sees the swatbotsgoing through "hmmmm.... Now what'd that botbrain say?" Brody asks and thinks for a moment and snaps his fingers "There you go! Breaker echo red, zero, zero, niner!" Brody said and the gate opens up and Brody storms in. Brody makes it to the Roboticizer and sees that the other Freedom Fighters are about to go inside it. Brody takes cover "No! Please! Let me go!" A female FF said and the glass pod drops down on the female freedom fighter "SPECIMEN READY FOR PHASE ONE ROBOTICIZATION" a techbot said "I don't think so pal" Brody said as he speeds in and starts circling a swatbot "Yo tin head! Neaner neaner neaner!" Brody said "WOLF ALERT! WOLF ALERT! WOLF ALERT! WOLF ALERT!-" a swatbot said "Excuse me! Mondo rude!" Brody said as he knocks two robots down and the guards are out and the Freedom Fighters are safe "Go for it guys!" Brody said and the freedom fighters run for it as Brody stays behind "Hey wanna boogy? You're ugly and so are all your friends!" Brody said as he is dancing on the control pad and shuts down the Roboticizer as Snively warches over a monitor "ROBOTICIZER OFF LINE. ROBOTICIZER OFF LINE. ROBOTICIZER OFF LINE. ROBOTICIZER OFF LINE" the techbot said "Fools! Must I do everything?!" Snively asks. Brody is trying to help the female freedom fighter still stuck in the glass pod "Hang on! We're outta here in a Brody sec!" Brody said and a techbot heads to a small door and pulls out a remote device "WOLF ALERT. WOLF ALERT" The techbot said amd presses a button on the remote device and fires a ray, just ad Brody opens up the pod, and the female freedom fighter makes a break for it "Thank you, Brody!" She said and Brody is just about to follow her but the techbot's ray zaps him and Brody begins stumbling around.

Snively arrived later in Robotnik's hovercraft "You hit him with a memory scrambler?" Snively asks "CORRECT. ABILITY OF TEMPORARY MEMORY LOSS: 99.9 PERCENT" the techbot said "Excellent.... Where is the wolf now?" Snively asks "SUBJECT HAS EXITED FACILITY. LOCATION UNKNOWN. UNKNOWN" techbot said "Aaaauuuuughhhh!" Snively said.

Snively soon after spots Brody's in the streets "Well, well! What a lovely site..." Snively said as Brody is walking in place out on the streets. Snively lands his hovercraft and checks this out "You there! What's your name...?" Snively asks "I.... Don't know.." Brody said and Snively pats him on the back "Well...not to worry friend. You're with me now... Eheheh" Snively said and coughs "Hmmm..." he said.

*Later at Knothole, Sonic and Brody's hut*

Sonic was pacing back and forth "Sonic calm down" Sally said "Calm down? Calm down?! Brody's never late! Something happened I'm going" Sonic said but Sally stops him "Now sugar-hog, you know your sugar-wolf can take care of himself" Bunnie said "I know I know, but I still worry for him, I-" Sonic said when they hear a noise outside "Brody?!" Sonic asks and Dulcy comes forth, crash landing next to Sonic and Brody's hut "Ooooh... hello Ma. I'm home!" Dulcy said dizzy "Dulcy! Did you see anything?" Sally asks "Oh sure! I saw an owl, some trees...and, uh..." Dulcy said "Brody?! Did you see Brody?!" Sonic asks "Sooorry... I looked everywhere, too" Dulcy said and Sonic sighs looking down "Something's really wrong. I gotta tell Unc and Mr Markus!" Sonic said and Sally calls a dove over and gives it a note "It'll be alright, Sugar-hog. We'll find him!" Bunnie said.

*Meanwhile at Robornik's Headquarters*

Snively shows a holograph video of everything that just happened to Brody "Princess Sally! She is the leader of the Freedom Fighters! A band of trouble makers.... remember?" Snively asks "Sally....trouble maker.... got it" Brody said "You infiltrated this group to bring me information! You are Brody the Wolf and I- I am Snively the Great!" Snively said "You are Snively the Great..." Brody said.

*At the same time in Robotropolis*

Dove is flying around and eventually find Markus and Uncle Chuck, giving them the letter and they read it "Hmm... I don't like the sound of this..." Markus said and Uncle Chuck puts his hand on his shoulder "We'll find your boy Markus. Let's go meet them" Uncle Chuck said and Markus nodded. They meet up with Sonic, Sally, Bunnie and Dulcy "Any news?" Uncle Chuck asks amd Sally shakes her head no "Well, there's one place we haven't checked. The holding room" Markus said "The holding room? What in the world?" Bunnie asks. As they talk, Dulcy spots a surveillance orb and knocks it to the ground "It's where Robotnik keeps the prisoners waiting to be roboticized" Uncle Chuck said "Oh no..." Sally said "We'll check it out" Markus said "No Mr. Markus! I'm coming too!" Sonic said.

*Later at the Holding room*

"Identification. Proceed" a techbot said as Markus, Sonic and Uncle Chuck are disguised as techbots and are able to stroll right in. However, all they can find is an empty cell "These were full yesterday" Markus said "W-what....what if Brody's been roboticized?!" Sonic asks freaking ouy "Calm down, sonny boy. We woulf have heard. Robotnik would never have kept that a secret" Uncle Chuck said "But then where is he?" Sonic asks and they heard Brody and Snively laughing "Ha-hete's another one 'How many workerbots does it take to change a light bulb'?" Snively asks "Hehehh- I don't know!" Brody said "All of them!" Snively said and the two laugh at joke, as Sonic, Markus and Uncle Chuck witness it, Sonic growls. Brody and Snively walk outside "Just go to North! Knothole is somewhere in the Great Forest! When you find it, radio back the coordinates!" Snively said putting a radio in Brody's backpack "Gotcha, pal!" Brody said as Sonic, Markus and Uncle Chuck are watching the whole thing "What did that Needle Nose did to my Brody?" Sonic asks glaring at Snively "Some kind of lind control. Go back to knothole and warn the other" Markus said "We'll snoop around here" Uncle Chuck said and Sonic reluctantly nods. "You say I can run.... fast?" Brody asks "Extremely fast" Snively said "But how do--" Brody said "Trust me, friend! Now go find Knothole..." Snively said and Brody starts twirling his feet and before he knew it he is running off "Wh-whah-whoahh!" Brody said "No, no! That way!" Snively said "Whaha-whoah!" Brody said.

*Back at Knothole*

Dulcy is flying around with Sonic, Bunnie and Sally "That's it, Dulcy-girl! Keep it strsight! Keep it straight!" Bunnie said "Keep it straight.... keep it straight..." Dulcy said "Dulcy!" Sally said "Huh?!" Dulcy asks "Watch were you're going!" Sonic said as Dulcy turns and sees an upcoming branch "Oh boy... ugh!" Dulcy said "Hold on, Sally and Sugar-hog! I think we're gonna land!" Bunnie said "I'm coming home, Ma" Dulcy said.

*Meanwhile at the Great Forest*

Brody is tearing through the woods "Where are you, wolf?!" Snively asks through the radio "Somewhere in the Great Forest" Brody said "Keep going! A Freedom Fighter will find you! Trust me!" Snively said.

*Back at Knothole*

"-and Snively is using... some kind of mind control on Brody, so he can revealbwhere Knothole is!" Sally said as she's relaying this info to a group of Freedom Fighters as they think about what they can do "Eh-heh! I am always knowing that Brody has spelled much big trouble" Antoine said "Can it, Antoine!" Dulcy said "Yeah! That's my boyfriend you're talking about, Ant" Sonic said "Hey....where's Tails?" Bunnie asks "in the lookout tower!" Dulcy said "Oh my gosh! We gotta wanr him!" Sally said.

*Meanwhile at the Lookout Tower*

Tails is looking around with a pair of binoculars when he spots Brody "Brody! Alright! Brody, wait up!" Tails said and Brody stips and gets burrowed deep in the sand "Who's there?!" Brody asks "Haha! Brody, you're back! We were worried about you!" Tails said hugging Brody "You're... Tails..." Brody said "Of course.... Uh, are you okay?" Tails asks "Sure! Hey, wanna race to Knothole?" Brody asks.

*At the same time innRobotnik's Headquarters*

Snively is listening closely to the conversation "I can't now, I'm on lookout" Tails said "Very good, wolf. Very good...." Snively said "Forget that! You're with me!" Brody said "Uuhh.... Okay. But I get a head start!" Tails said "Wouldn't have it any other way, big guy!" Brody said ruffling his hair and Tails giggles and revs up his tails and takes flight and the two are off. Dulcy arrives too late to warn Tails "Ugh! Too late, Sonic! He's gone!" Dulcy said "He'd never leave his spot, he must be with Brody!" Sonic said. Tails is at a hollow stump as he jumps in "Hahah! Good-bye! Whhhhaaahhhh!" Tails said and Brody's close behind him.

*At Robotropolis*

"Well, well....Home sweet Knothole!" Brody said "Bingo-Bingo-Bingo! Yehehes! Ready the assault force! Tonight, Snively the great destroys Knothole! Hahahahaheh!" Snively said.

*Back at Knothole*

Brody and Tails are still racing until they make it to their home, just as Brody trips near the end "Brody, are you okay? You never fall!" Tails said worried "I guess I'm tired. I'll just grab a nap" Brody said standing up "A nap?! You and Sonic never take naps!" Tails said "Hey! Even wolves need a little beauty sleep!" Brody said heading for a hut but before he open the door Tails stop him "Heheheh! Yo Brody, that's Sally's hut!" Tails said "Uhh.... I knew that!" Brody said ans heads for the next door "And that's Dulcy's!" Tails said "Just testing ya, big guy! I'll bet'cha don't know which one is mine..." Brody said "Your and Sonic's hut? Of course I do! That one!" Tails said pointing to Brody and Sonic's hut "Right again, little buddy..." Brody said walking inside "Weird" Tails said as Sonic and Dulcy are heading back. They meet Tails "Tails, little buddy have you seen Brody?" Sonic asks "He's takig a nap. I didn't know Brody took naps..." Tails said "That's cause he's not the real Brody" Dulcy said "Whad'ya mean?" Tails asks "Dulcy, you explain it" Sonic said.

*Inside Brody and Sonic's hut*

"Yo, Snively the great! My main man! This is Brody, over?" Brody asks holding the radio "Greetings, my friend! I assume you've rounded up the Freedom Fighters?" Snively asks as Sonic rushes to their hut and hides outside the window "Ehh... not exactly" Brody said as Snively is back in Robotnik's hovercraft, flying near the Great Forest "Now listen, you incompetent little...I mean, Brody, Brody, dear, dear boy... Time is of the essence here! I'll be in Knothole shortly and I want those Freedom Fighters rounded up!" Snively said as Sonic gasps "Get to work, ehehm.. buddy! Over and out!" Snively said.

Bunnie is pushing up a dummy tree-stump revealing a small hideout "Hurry! Snively's on his way and we got to get Brody back to normal.... somehow!" Sally said "Because of why?! It is to his blame that we are in this terrible trouble, so I--" Antoine said "Shut up, Antoine!" Sonic, Sally, Dulcy, Tails and Rotor said. Brody is wandering around the woods "Sonic! Sally! Hey?! Where is everybody?!" Brody asks as Sonic jumps into the hideout anf shuts the trunk "Heelloooo!" Brody said and Sally looks through a peephole and she sees Brody looking up in the sky at Ribotnik's hovercraft "We'll soon see who will be a paper weight! Hah! Is he in for a large suprise" Snively said. Markus and Uncle Chuck have snuck on board. They peek out of hiding to look around only to duck back when a techbot comes his way "POWER BOOSTER ADDED, SIR" the techbot said and Snively is messing with the memory scrambler "Perfect! The Freedom Fighters will never know what hit them! Prepare to land!" Snively said and the ship lands as Snively puts on a helmet "Prepare, Freedom Fighters, to kiss the feet of Snively the Great!" Snively said as he and a couple of swatbots take off on a series of hover pads, allowing Markus and Uncle Chuck to get out of the hovercraft unnoticed. Snively mwets up with Brody "They did what?!" Snively asks "Disappeared! The whole joint is empty!" Brody said "Then they're hiding somewhere! Activate heat sensors!" Snively said and the swatbots start looking for the freedom fighters.

*At the Hideout*

"And Snively's planning to use a Memory Scrambler on all of you, like he did with Brody!" Markus said "A memory scrambler?" Dulcy asks "It temporarily erases your memory" Uncle Chuck said "For how long?" Sally asks "We're not sure.... but we can bring him out of it with a Power Ring!" Uncle Chuck said "That's a problem. The next one is due in two minutes. We'll never make it!" Sally said "Speak for yourself, Sally. Two minutes is more than I need!" Sonic said and runs out of the hideout with Markus, Uncle Chuck and Tails tagging along. Just as the power rings come out of the lake of rings, Sonic grabs them "That a boy, Sonic!" Uncle Chuck said "Now I need you to do one thing for me big guy.... are you up to it?" Sonic asks "No problem!" Tails said.

Snively, Brody and the swatbots are closing in on the hiding spot "What is it you are seeing Dulcy?" Antoine asks "Antoine, put a cork in it!" Dulcy said "Ah, oui, oui, oui! I can do that!" Antoine said when the swatbots locate them "Uh oh!" Dulcy said "Bingo! Bingo! You have five seconds to come out with your hands up! One... two... three..... Four! Five!!!" Snively said and the stump opens up and everyone comes out "Oooh! Uh, what a great pleasure I am to see you. Mr. Snibbly! Ah, yes... yes... you know... I am being 'eld prisoner against mai will, and I-" Antoine said "Where is Princess Sally?!" Snively asks "Wouldn't you like to know, shrimp-boat!" Dulcy said "Very well... Big mouth! Take that!" Snively said zapping Dulcy with the Memory Scrambler "Euggggh! Hi ma, I don't remember a thing..." Dulcy said "How's it going pal?" Brody asks "Wolf.... Find the princess....Now!" Snively said "No problem, bud!" Brody said and races off "This is x-ray leader, launch delta bravo! Repeat, launch delta bravo!" Snively said as a series of stealthbots are launched into the air. Brody is running through the woods "Brody!" Tails said and Brody trips "Whhoooooa! Oof!" Brody said "Sonic wants to see you, Brody!" Tails said.

*Back at the Lake of Rings*

"Brody!" Sonic ssid relieved "Who are you?" Brody asks "We're your friends son!" Markus said "Come back to us, my sweet wolf...You're our leader!" Sonic said "No! Snively the Great is my only friend!" Brody said "Here! Catch!" Sonic said tossing Brody the power ring "Huh?! What's this....? Huh... Yeah... Yeah!" Brody said running off and then comes back "Here he comes!" Tails said "Brody, is it really you?" Sonic asks "The real deal, babe!" Brody said "Now here's the plan, son. While Sally and Chuck reprogram the stealthbots, you take care of Snively and the swatbots!" Markus said "No prob, dad! Good luck!" Brody said and Sonic hugs him "I'm glad you're back" Sonic said "Me too, love" Brody said and Sonic kisses him and Brody runs off after.

Back to the others, Snively has them all under his control and zaps Antoine "Alright you Freedom Fighters.... who's next?!" Snively asks when Brody races in taking the memory scrambler "You are pal!" Brody said zapping him with it "What are you- Guhh! Who... are you" Snively said "I'm Brody the magnificent!" Brody said.

Meanwhile Sally and Uncle Chuck are inside Robotnik's hovercraft, taking care of the stealthbots "There! Delta Bravo, this is command! Return to base! Repeat, return to base!" Uncle Chuck said "CODE WORD REQUIRED TO ABORT MISSION. TARGET LOCKED ON. 60 SECONDS. 59. 58. 57." A swatbot said "We need the mission abort code!" Uncle Chuck said as Sally works on it at the monitor "Nothing..... I've got it!" Sally said and types the codename, R-O-D-E-N-T & F-U-R-B-A-L-L "That's it! Delta bravo, this is command! Abort rodent and furball! Repeat, abort rodent and furball!" Uncle Chuck said "ABORT RODENT AND FURBALL. ABORT RODENT AND FURBALL. CONFIRMED. RETURN TO BASE" a stealthbot said "Yes!" Sally and Uncle Chuck said.

*Later at Robotropolis*

"Listen up, friend! This is Robuttnik!" Brody said showing Snively a hologram of Robotnik "A bottom dwelling, scum sucker who's lowet than a snake's belly!" Sonic said "Robuttnik... Bottom dweller..." Snively said "Hey, dad, Snittly ever gonna get his memory back?" Brody asks "Eventually. But don't worry, he won't remember were Knothole is. It wad the ship's guidance system that got him there and Uncle Chuck is taking that out right now!" Markus said "Cool!" Sonic and Brody said "Okay Sally?" Uncle Chuck asks as Sally is putting some final touches on the keyboard "And that's it! Knothole's coordinates are in the Great Swamp!" Sally said "See ya, shrimp boat!" Brody said "Bye-bye old buddy- I mean, Brody the Magnificent!" Snively said.

"Snively!" Robotnik said "Robuttnik! You bottom dwelling scum sucker!" Snively said and jumps at Robotnik who just bounces him off with his massive gut "Why do I believe that it's... time for that paper weight I've always wanted. Any last words, Snively?!" Robotnik asks "Da-Sir! Sir! I-I found- I found Knothole!" Snively said "You found Knothole?" Robotnik asks "Yes sir! Yes sir! And I can take you there, right now!" Snively said.

*Later at the Great Swamp*

"My patience.... is wearing thin, Snively! Where is Knothole?!" Robotnik asks "Huh- Just a little farther, sir!" Snively said while Robotnik fights off mosquitos "I do hope you're right, Snively!" Robotnik said "Weh- it'll never happen again! I'm quite sure I know where it is! Jjst stick with me for another moment! It's somewhere a little over here to right, maybd to the left! Just give me a..." Snively said "It frightens me to think what would happen if you're wrong....." Robotnik said as this chapter comes to an end.
