Third Person's POV

We start on a rainy night in Robotropolis "Come on, Dulcy" Uncle Chuck said and Dulcy flyes over with Sally on her back "Goin' down, Sally!" Dulcy said descending "Whoa!" Sally said "Come on... straighten it out" Markus said "Hold on, Sally!" Dulcy said "Don't worry" Sally said "Whoa!" Dulcy and Sally said as Dulcy crashes on a pile of junk "Sorry" Dulcy said and the rain stops "Not too shabby. You okay, Sally? Sally?" Dulcy and Sally groans "If you don't count my stomach" Sally said "Are you girls all right?" Markus asks "We're fine, Mr. Markus" Dulcy said "Thanks for getting here so fast" Uncle Chuck said "What's wrong?" Sally asks "It's all on here" Markus said giving her a disk and she plays it on Nicole a recording of Snively "We're very close to finding the first Drood Henge scroll, Sir. Yes, Sir" Snively said "Who's he talking to?" Dulcy asks "Robotnik. We could only record one side of the conversation" Uncle Chuck said "Yes, Sir. We will continue the search" Snively said "Drood Henge. There's something familiar about that name" Sally said "It was a royal family secret" Markus said "R-Really? But I was never told" Sally said "You were only five when Robotnik took over. It concerns the legendary Deep Power Stones, capable of incredible power or incredible destruction" Uncle Chuck said "Nicole, access information on Drood Henge" Sally said "Access denied, Sally. Time encoded lockout" Nicole said "Your father inserted many programs into Nicole. Some are time-locked until you come of age" Uncle Chuck said "But that's 2 years from now. In the meantime, we've gotta find this "Drood Henge"" Sally said "Before Robotnik does. The idea of that fiend having such awesome power..." Markus said.

*Meanwhile at Robotnik's Command Center*

Robotnik laughs "Hmm..." He said as he examines the pages of a book when Snively calls via hologram "Oh, good news, Sir! I've found the first scroll" Snively said "Excellent, Snively. Keep searching. I've nearly translated their language" Robotnik said "Yes, Sir" Snively said "Input this data" Robotnik said.

*Meanwhile at the Hot Springs*

Sonic, Brody and Tails were chilling in a hot spring "Well, Big Guy, is this cool or is this cool?" Sonic asks "Way, way past, Sonic" Tails said "You, Sonic and me Tails. This is our secret place" Brody said "Cool!" Tails said happy "But ya gotta be careful around here" Brody said and picks up a rock "Check this" Sonic said as Brody tosses the rock, which hits with a "boom" a green cloud "Whoa. That's awesome" Tails said when a large airship flies over them and Tails gasps "Wow! That thing's huge" Tails said "One of Robuttnik's freighters. Let's check it out" Sonic and Brody said.

*At a cliff*

Tails, Brody and Sonic are watching Robotnik's robots "What is it, Sonic and Brody?" Tails asks "They're lookin' for somethin'" Brody said and Tails looks behind them and tugs on Brody's arm "Brody!" Tails said and Brody and Sonic look seeing a surveillance orb "Man, I hate those orb-heads" Sonic said "No problem-o. I gotta plan" Tails said jumping down "Yo, Tails! What plan?" Brody asks as he and Sonic jump after him and Tails pulls a tree branch back and lets it go and it knocks the surveillance orb  away "Bullseye!" Tails said "That was cool, Big Guy" Sonic said "But next time you have a plan, check with us first. Teamwork is a big part of being a Freedom Fighter" Brody said "Okay, Brody. Uh oh!" Tails said as the surveillance orb was still active and Brody picks it up "Still ticking" Sonic said "Hmm. Sal said it's...it's the red one" Tails said "Way to go, Tails" Sonic and Brody said.

*At the same time at Robotnik's Dig Site, Control Center*

"Orb surveillance malfunction, sector 4. Swat-Bot patrol, check and report" Snively said "Affirmative. On route" a swatbot.

*Back at the Hot Springs, cliff*

"Looks like they found something" Sonic said "Sonic and I are goin' in for a close-up. Wait here" Brody said "Brody, Sonic, I wanna go too" Tails said "Sorry, Big Guy. Duo time"Sonic said "Why can't I go?" Tails asks "Too dangerous down there. Hey, Freedom Fighters always follow orders right?" Brody asks "Right" Tails said "Cool. Outta here!" Sonic said as he and Brody run down the cliff and they see a swatbot bring a box form the dig site "Hmm. Wonder what's in that box" Brody said while Tails sees swatbots approaching Sonic and Brody from behind and gasps "Sonic! Brody! Oh, no... Sonic, Brody look out!" Tails said flying and the duo looks back seeing a airship grab Tails "Sonic! Brody!" Tails said "Tails!" Sonic and Brody said trying to run after him "Sonic! Brody! Help!" Tails said.

*At Robotnik's Dig Site*

Tails sees a Swat-Bot carrying a strange box as he is hauled away. Sonic and Brody are following the Swat-Bot that has Tails and runs into them "Whoa! Guys, we gotta stop meetin' like this" Brody said "Hedgehog and Wolf, priority one" one swatbot said "Surrender, hedgehog and wolf" another swatbot said "You talkin' to us?" Sonic asks "Surrender" the swatbot said "Nah! This hedgehog and wolf never gives up. Gettin' late. Outta here!" Sonic and Brody said running away.

*At Robotnik's Dig Site, Control Center*

"Intruder captured, Sir" A swatbot said bringing Tails "Not now. I have a bigger game in mind" Snively said "Sonic and Brody're gonna get you, Slop-ly" Tails said "Quiet, you little twerp" Snively said.

*Back at the dig site*

Sonic and Brody laugh as they dodge swatbots' lasers "Yes! Are We cool, or are We cool? Whoa!" Sonic said as he and Brody back-flip over the Swat-Bot "Ciao, 'bot-heads!" Sonic and Brody said as they go through the air "Cool" Sonic said as he and Brody use airjets in their sneakers  and land on the roof of the command center "Where -are- those rotten hedgehog and wolf? What was that?" Snively asks as Brody and Sonic peak from the roof "Que pasa, Snortly¨?" Sonic asks "That means "What's up?"" Brody said "Take the hedgehog and the wolf!" Snively said "More like take the Snively" Brody said as he runs down and grabs Snively standing behind him and Sonic stands behind Brody "Hold your fire, hold your fire!" Snively said "Good boy, Snobbly" Brody said and pats him on the head "How 'bout a tour?" Brody asks "Tour?" Snively asks "Yeah. Let's start with the ol' power station" Sonic said "Now, tell Chrome-dome to release Tails" Brody said "Release the prisoner" Snively said and the swatbot let go of Tails and Tails runs over to them "You okay, little buddy?" Sonic and Brody ask "No problem" Tails said "Tell them all to return to stations" Brody said "Return to stations!" Snively said and the swatbots leave "The hedgehog and wolf are way, way past cool" Sonic said "The hedgehog and wolf are way, wa...huh? Hey" Snively said "Gotcha, Snobbly" Sonic and Brody said laughing "Cool" Tails said.

*Meanwhile*

Sally is flying on Dulcy's back and looking through binoculars "Sally, we're running out of trees" Dulcy said "I don't understand. Sonic and Brody -always- do their training missions in the Great Forest" Sally said "Well, we've covered the whole enchilada. What now?" Dulcy asks and Sally sighs "Let's keep searching" Sally said.

*Back at Robotnik's Dig Site, Power Station*

"Hey, Slime-ly! How do we shut down the power station?" Brody asks "I'm afraid it's rather complicated" Snively said "-Un-complicate it" Sonic said "I can do it, Sonic and Brody. Sally's been teaching me" Tails said "You sure, fella?" Brody asks "Yeah" Tails said "The little twerp will never figure it out" Snively said "Don't bet on it, Snobbly" Sonic said "It's a grid inter-lock..." Tails said and presses the buttons "Don't touch it" Snively said "No problem-o. Got it!" Tails said finishing "Yo! the ol' lights are still on!" Brody and Sonic said "Give it a Sonic second" Tails said and the lights go out "Mondo cool, Big Guy. It's rip 'n' roar time" Sonic and Brody said as they speed away with a screaming Snively till they stop at the cliff "Enjoyed the quality time, Slime-ly" Brody said letting go of him and Tails laughs "Oh, and give our worst to the big, round guy. Ciao!" Sonic said as the trio leaves "Oh, "the big, round guy" won't like this at all. Oh, I hate my life" Snively said.

*Later at Robotropolis, Robotnik's Command Center*

"Sir?" Snively asks via hologram "I've translated the ancient language, Snively. What is going on here?" Robotnik asks "he, um...the hedgehog and wolf were here, Sir" Snively said "The hedgehog and the wolf? When!?" Robotnik asks "Last night, Sir" Snively said "And...you're only telling me -now-?" Robotnik asks "They destroyed the power station, Sir; it just came back online. But I found the second scroll!" Snively said "That was fortunate timing, Snively. Transmitting translation key. I'm leaving immediately to personally supervise the dig. Have everything ready!" Robotnik said.

*Meanwhile*

Sally is still flying on Dulcy's back, as Dulcy is snoring "Dulcy!" Sally said and Dulcy snorts "What? Don't worry, ma, I cleaned the cave" Dulcy said "It's Sonic and Brody" Sally said "Sonic and Brody? Where?" Dulcy asks "Three o'clock, westbound. They're headed home" Sally said "Music to my ears. Going down!" Dulcy said.

*Back at Robotnik's Dig Site*

Robotnik's Hover Unit lands, as Robotnik exits and is greeted by Snively "Sir! Sir! I used your translation to read the scrolls..." Snively said "And?" Robotnik asks "I've located the chamber" Snively said "Hmm. It's about time" Robotnik said "You rotten bag of slime" Snively mumbles "Did you say something, Snively?" Robotnik asks "I said "now is the time", Sir" Snively siad nervous.

*Meanwhile at Knothole*

Dulcy landed and Sally gets off her back "Ouch! Oh. I could sure use a chin pad" Dulcy said as Sonic and Brody run up to Sally "Sonic, Brody, I've got..." "Sally, We've got..." The three said at the same time "What?" Sally asks "You first" Brody said "I have bad news" Sally said "Ours is worse" Sonic said.

*Later at Sally's hut*

"...and Nicole has the information, but won't release it until I come of age" Sally said "Say what?" Brody asks "Until I'm 18" Sonic said "Yo, Nicole" Sonic said "Sonic and Brody, my main hedgehog and wolf. What up?" Nicole asks "I hate when she talks like that" Sally said "Ro-butt-nik's diggin' for the ol' D. P. stones. So, what happens when he finds them?" Brody asks "They'll power the Doomsday Project and all life could end, as we know it" Sally said "Which means Sal would never come of age" Sonic said "You got it" Nicole said "Then what's the point?" Brody asks "Hmm. Evaluating. Further delay does not compute" Nicole said "Any year now, Nicole..." Sonic said "Access granted. Generating hologram" Nicole said "Very good, Sonic and Brody" Sally said "That's all We get, is a "very good"?" Brody asks "Well how about "stupendous!"" Sally said "We can live with that" Sonic said and Nicole plays a recording of the king "Sally, these are the Deep Power Stones" Maximillian said "Daddy?" Sally asks "Joined together this way, they're a source of limitless energy. Reverse them, and within 30 seconds they become a source of destruction. The Deep Power Stones are hidden at Drood Henge. This book is in the secrets vaults of the Royal Library; it will give you the location. There you will find these three scrolls. They disclose the location of the Deep Power Stones. Nicole knows the language" Maximillian explained and showed holograms for it "Sonic, Brody, I saw that one!" Tails said "You did? Where?" Sally asks " We saw Robotnik find it at some dig site in the Great Unknown" Tails said "You two took Tails near Robotnik?" Sally asks "Well, We..." Sonic and Brody said "Never mind. I don't wanna know. Nicole, apply translation to the box with the sun symbol" Sally said "Box contains scroll revealing location of first Deep Power Stone" Nicole said "Then Robotnik has the first stone! If he gets both, he'll have the power for the Doomsday Project!" Sally said "Is...is that bad?" Tails asks "Afraid so, Big Guy. If he gets both stones, we're history" Brody said.

*Meanwhile at Robotnik's Dig Site*

"This is very exciting, Sir" Snively said "Yes, well, we'll see, Snively. We'll see. Open it!" Robotnik said and the Swat- Bots remove a stone lid "Ahh...that's it! Step aside there! Oh my. Yes" Robotnik said.

*Back at Knothole*

" Sonic! Brody! Sonic, Brody, wait up!" Tails said flying and lands next to Sonic and Brody and gives them a box and Sonic puts it in Brody's backpack "Rotor said to be careful; the paint's not quite dry" Tails said "No prob" Sonic and Brody said as Tails tryes to get on Dulcy's back but Sally stops him "Sorry, Tails. This mission is too dangerous" Sally said "Huh? But I thought..." Tails said "Brody and I told him he could go, Sally" Sonic said "Sonic, Brody, he's ten years old" Sally said "Hey, he's passed three tough Freedom Fighter tests. Sonic and I were doing solo missions when We were ten" Brody said "Uh-huh. Right. Without permission" Sally said "He can come with us. Brody and I'll be responsible" Sonic said and Sally laughs "That'll be the day" Sally said "Excuse us?" Sonic and Brody ask "Fine! -You two- be responsible" Sally said "Way cool!" Sonic, Brody and Tails said "Oh, look; he's growing up" Dulcy said tearing up "Yes. I guess he is" Sally said and pets Tails "Just be careful, honey, and do what Sonic and Brody say. Okay?" Sally asks "Okay, Aunt Sally. Promise" Tails said "Let's kick it" Sonic and Brody said "Good..." Sally said when Sonic and Brody run off with Tails in Sonic's backpack "luck! Alright, Dulcy. Let's go" Sally said and Dulcy sniffles "Uh, Dulcy?" Sally asks "This is so touching" Dulcy said and cries while Sally sighs "Oh boy..." Sally said.

*Later at Robotnik's Dig Site*

"Release the surveillance Orbs" Robotnik said as many surveillance orbs are released "You two are out there somewhere, hedgehog and wolf. I can feel you two" Robotnik said. Tails was waiting for a surveillance orb "Come on. Come on. A little closer. Come on. That's cool" Tails said and runs with the box and an Orb follows him "All units, surround Sector 5. Wait for my command. Run little Freedom Fighter; lead me to the hedgehog and the wolf" Robotnik said as Tails passes by a rock Dulcy is hiding "Oh...good job, Tails" Dulcy said and uses a mirror to signal Sally and she goes to Sonic and Brody "He's on his way" Sally said giving Nicole to Brody "Outta here!" Sonic and Brody said as they run off to Tails who opens the box and gives them a scroll "Sally found it, Sonic and Brody!" Tails said loudly so the orb heard them "Way past!" Sonic said "What?!" Robotnik asks "We knew she would, Big Guy!" Brody said opening the scroll ans holds Nicole "Calculating directions, Brody. Take 4 steps forward" Nicole said "1...2...3...4. This is it" Brody said "All units...stand by" Robotnik said as Brody spins into the ground and comes out holding the power stone "Got it!" Brody said "Great! I'll go tell Sally" Tails said and flies away "All units! The hedgehog and the wolf have the stone! Get it!" Robotnik said "Buttnik's loosin' his touch" Sonic said "They should have been here by now" Brody said and swatbots appear and shoot at Sonic and Brody "Ahh. That's more like it! Hedgehog and Wolf juicin' on the fast track!" Sonic and Brody said running away as the swatbots chase them and Sally, Tails come out from a covered hole "Right on schedule. Let's find Dulcy" Sally said and the two run off. Sonic and Brody run and stop with a shout as a few swatbots where infront of them "Priority hedgehog and wolf, surrender!" A swatbot said "We surrender, W-We surrender" Sonic and Brody said but then they grin pulling out their power rings "Just kidding! Later!" Sonic and Brody said running away knocking the swatbots away "Get them. Get them!" Robotnik said "Launch the ship! Heat sensors. Scan hedgehog and wolf's projected path" Robotnik said to his ship's Brain Bot "Scanning..." Brain bot said "Man, the stupid Swat-Bots lost me! Come on. Come on..." Sonic said as he and Brody wait impatiently "Heat source located. Profile matches hedgehog and wolf. Inputting coordinates" Brain bot said "Launch Stealth Bots! All units, converge on broadcast coordinates. Hold your fire! I want that stone!" Robotnik said and stealth bots are released "Whoa! Man, they're cuttin' it pretty close. That's it. Getting warmer" Brody said and the Stealth Bots fly over and beyond Sonic and Brody "Cold again. Come on Ro-butt-nik; you're slipping, man" Sonic said and the Swat-Bots appear "Getting hotter. Now you're cooking!" Brody and Sonic said as they run and then wait for until Robotnik's ship to land in front of them "Hey!" Sonic and Brody said as various Swat-Bots catch up "Ho-hum. Surrounded again. Some things never change" Sonic said "Here comes the dramatic entrance" Brody said in a funny voice making Sonic giggle as Robotnik steps out of his ship "You're surrounded, hedgehog and wolf. I suggest you give me the stone" Robotnik said "Now for the dramatic reply..." Sonic said lightly nudging Brody "No way, Robuttnik! If We can't have it..." Brody said taking out the power stone from his backpack "No, no, no, wolf. Don't do it! Don't do it!" Robotnik said  "...no one can" Brody said and tosses the fake Power Stone into a lava pool, as the stone goes "boom" "No!" Robotnik said "It's Sonic and Brody!" Sally said as she's on Dulcy's back "No matter, hedgehog and wolf. I may not have the Power Stone, but I do have you two"  Robotnik said "I don't think so big, round guy" Sonic said and Brody whistles "Taxi!" Brody said "Crack the whip, Dulcy!" Sally said "Cracking!" Dulcy said and whips her tail descending super fast "Cool!" Tails said as Dulcy grabs Sonic and Brody "What is...?!" Robotnik asks "Ciao, baby!" Sonic and Brody said and Robotnik growls and Sonic and Brody laugh as the Freedom Fighters fly away on Dulcy.

*Later Near the Dig Site*

"Got it!" Sonic and Brody said spinning out of the ground holding a box and Dulcy, Tails and Sally dance and cheer "Yeah, Sonic and Brody! We did it!" Tails said "Thank you" Sonic and Brody said and Sally opens the box and gets the scroll "Nicole, scanning mode please" Sally said "Scanning. Displaying location, Sally" Nicole said and Sally laughs "I don't believe it!" Sally said "What?" Brody asks "It's right here" Sally said "Where?" Sonic asks "Here!" Sally said and points infront of her "Cool. Stand back, guys!" Brody said as he and Sonic use a Sonic and Brody Spin to dig where Sally pointed "Bingo, ringo!" Sonic said as he and Brody hold the real power stone and everyone cheers as Brody gives Sally the power stone "All this power... We should destroy it" Sally said " I dunno, Sally; it might come in handy. We're going up against the Doomsday Project" Brody said "You're right. I have to hand it to you Sonic and Brody; that fake stone plan was brilliant" Sally said "Brilliant? Come on, it was mondo stupendo" Sonic said and Brody nodded and Sally laughs "You two may be "mondo stupendo", but you two are certainly not humble" Sally said "Us? Not humble? I don't think so! After all, it wasn't our plan" Brody said and Sonic nods "What? But I thought that.." Sally said and Sonic and Brody grin "Ladies and...ladies..." Sonic said "Meet the Plan-meister, the way, way cool Big Guy!" Brody said as he and Sonic pull Tails over and he laughs "Tails, you're amazing" Sally said "Oh" Dulcy said and sobs "Oh, this is so touching" She said "Three cheers for our newest Freedom Fighter!" Sally said "Hip, hip..." Sonic said "Hooray!" Sonic, Brody, Sally and Dulcy said "Hip, hip..." Brody said "Hooray!" Sonic, Brody, Sally and Dulcy said "Hip, hip..." Sonic and Brody said "Hooray!" Sonic, Brody, Tails, Sally and Dulcy said and Tails laughs happy as this chapter comes to an end.
