Third Person's POV

We start with Brody running through a deserted field "Brody, where were you and Sonic when the brains were handed out?" Sally is heard asking causing Brody to skid to a halt "Huh, Sally?" Brody asks as Sonic is inside a cave on the other end of a collapsing bridge. A swatbot comes behind him and grabs him while another is lugging a portable roboticizer "HEY!" Sonic said as Robotnik arrives and grins "Hang in, Sonic! Here comes the wolf!" Brody said and a storm hits "Ah man!" He said as he runs but suddenly slows down getting stuck on mud "Mega muck!" Brody said and grunts trying to escape "This is starting to tick me off! Auugh! I'm coming, Sonic.... AAAUUGGHH!" Brody said breaking free and tumbles forward to the beginning of the bridge and starts to run across it "BRODY! WHERE WERE YOU WHEN THE BRAINS WERE HANDED OUT?!" A roboticized Sonic said as the bridge collapses "AAAAAAAaaaaahhh!" Brody screamed as he fell.

Brody gasps waking up and sits up on the bed panting "Brody?" Sonic asks sleepy, it turned out to be a nightmare "Are you okay?" Sonic asks sitting up "Y-yeah, just a wild dream that's all" Brody said.

*The next day*

The sky is broght and Rotor is sitting at a table and Brody walks up to him "Yo, Rote, what's up?" Brody asks "Same ol', same ol', Brody. How 'bout you?" Rotor asks and Brody takes a seat "I had a WILD dream this morning. You know anything about dreams?" Brody asks "Not much... Sally told me once that there usually about some kind of personal fear" Rotor said "Hmmm....." Brody said looking down when Sally walks in "Guys, Nicole just intercepted one of Robotnik's transmissions!" Sally said putting Nicole on the table "I know it's not good news..." Sonic said walking in and sits next to Brody "No, its terrible news! Listen to this!" Sally said and presses a button "Nicole, replay intercepted transmission" Sally said "Replaying Sally" Nicole said "Attention, swatbot unit 1, prepare chemical payload for cloud seeding. Rendezvous with cloud burster on Island of Nimbus, precisely 1200 hours. Coordinates to follow" Robotnik said on recording "That's all of it" Sally said "He's gonna seed clouds with chemicals?" Rotor asks "Toxic rain" Sally said and Brody walks to railing and looks over Knothole "What's a little more toxic rain?" Brody asks "Yeah, all of Mobius is fuming with the stuff!" Sonic said "I bet it's another one of Robotnik's crummy traps" Rotor said "You're probably right, Rotor. But we don't know for sure. If that island is inhabitated, we need to warn people!" Sally said "Well, that's no prob. But what about dustin' Buttnik's acid rain?" Brody asks and Sally grins amdtaps her head "I have the old plan..." Sally said.

*Later*

Sonic, Brody, Sally, Bunnie and Antoine walk up to Rtors workshop. They all walk upto a small little shed with Rotor by side of the door "Stand back guys! This could be ugly..." Rotor saif and opens it up and a wave of mechanical junk engulfs him before he can get away "Oh my stars! And I thought my closet was a mess..." Bunnie said and Rotor pops out the top and searches for something "Yo Rote! We're waiting..." Sonic and Brody said "Oh, I know they're in here someplace.... Ah-HA! Here's one!" Rotor said pulling out a swatbot torso "Uh-how many swatbots suits are you having Rotor?" Antoine asks "Three. One for Sally. One for Bunnie and one for you" Rotor said giving Sally, Bunnie and Antoine the suits and Sally tries it on "Well, do I look like a swatbot?" Sally asks as Tails wanders in and gasps "Help! Swatbot! I'm juicing!" Tails said and runs off and Sonic grins "Naaaw! Not even close, Sally" Sonic said.

*Later at the side of a mountain*

There's a giant eight-wheeled beast hauling what looks like a missile the shape of a blimp roars by. The three show up at the top of the mountain in their swatbot costumes "Stars alive! Would you look at the size of that ugly ol' thing?" Bunnie asks "That must be the cloud burster!" Sally said and they hear a clink8ng noise and look behind them. Antoines quaking in his boots. One of the two grabs his legs to stop the noise "Just relax, Antoine" Bunnie said "Uh.... oui oui. I am chilling" Antoine said "Ready, Bunnie?" Sally asks "Always ready, sugar" Bunnie said "Do it!" Sally said and Bunnie activates a mechanical hand grenade and lunges it in front of the vehicle, obstructing its path with smoke "swatbot team 1, see what that smoke is about!" Snively said and four swatbots leave the vehicle  "They're in the smoke, let's go!" Sally said and the three get to a hatch on top the vehicle and Sally starts using Nicole. A swatbot ended up finding out as Anoine blew their cover and they bring them to Snively.

"Intruders, sir!" A swatbot said "Intruders?" Snively asks and the swatbots lead the three in, hands locked behind their backs and Snively grins "Well, well... wolves in swatbot clothing... Dr Robotnik will be very pleased..." Snively said.

*Meanwhile with the duo*

Sonic and Brody are storming through mountains and find themselves looking over an island and Brody checks the map "That's gotta be ol' Nimbus island!" Brody said and the two speed down to the island, covered in futuristic travel tubes and they look around but find no one's in this island  so they ditch it and head back to knothole "Sally! Ant! Where are you giys?!" Sonic said when they reached where the three where "Better check out that convoy" Brody said and the two go to the mountain side and find a swatbot head "This was Antoine's" Sonic said and Brody looks at the colossal sized wheel imprints.

*Meanwhile at Nimbus Island*

The missile is sitting outside the base, the swatbots inside are at work, while the freedom fighters are chained down to a wall "What's wrong with your 'Great leader'?! Is he too chicken to confront us himself?!" Sally asks "My... such a challenging tone..." Robotnik said walking out from the shadows approaching the three "Hardly appropiate for a Princess" Robotnik said "Where are the hedgehog and wolf?" He asks "...In out dreams, doctor!" Sally said "No matter, Princess. Patience is one of my strong points, heheh...They'll be along" Robotnik said.

*Meanwhile*

Sonic and Brody followed the vehicle tracks leading them to the isle in time to see the blimp missile rising in the sky "Uh-oh!"  Sonic and Brody said.

*Inside the Base*

"Re-check all functions. There will be no errors" Robotnik said "Doctor Robotnik, the guests of honor have arrived..." Snively said as a monitor shows Sonic and Brody on sight "Excellent, let the party begin!" Robotnik said.

*Outside*

Sonic and Brody make their way around evading a giant ball of fire till they jump in the water making the fire ball vanish but the island shakes as the travrlling tubes across the water come apart leaving the duo without shortcuts as the missile blimp is right over head "now I have you both, wolf and hedgehog!" Robotnik said as Sonic and Brody get ambushed by multiple swatbots "I hope the great hedgehog and wolf would be more of a challenge.... you two disappoint me" Robotnik said while Sonic and Brody grin "It ain't over till the fatbot sings, Robuttnik!" Brody and Sonic said getting out and knocking the swatbots into the water "Oh forgot to tell ya" Brody said "Watch that first step. Adios!" Sonic said and the two run away.

They reach the base and finds their friends "Chill guys, We'll bust you outta here..." Brody said "Brody, Sonic, don't touch the bars!" Sally said "Why not?" Sonic asks "Because they'll repel you!" Sally said "Besides we're not the important thing right now!" Sally said  "You're not?" Brody asks and the two turn around looking at the blimp fly into the sky "Gotta be a way to take out that sucker!" Brody said.

"Cloud Burster in position, sir" Snively said "Prepare to commence seeding, heheeheh..." Robotnik said  "The blimpo's gonna chunk" Sonic said "Sacre bleu! What can we be doing?" Antoine asks "We can... we.... we....AAH!" Brody said starting to remember his dream "Brody? What's wrong?" Sonic asks "He looks like he's seen a ghost" Bunnie said "He seems to be daydreaming... We have to snap him out of it, or we're all done for!" Sally said "Brody! Brody! Snap out of it! I'm here" Sonic said shaking Brody making him snap out of it "Brody, hurry! He's gonna release the acid rainnstorm!" Sally said "Right! Right... let's see..." Brody sais looking around and Sonic holds his hand "You got this" Spnic said reasuringly and Brody nodded smiling and came up with a plan "I got it! Follow my lead Sonic!" Brody said leading him under the blimp ""YO! ROBUTTNIK! Got little suprise..." Brody said "I don't like suprises, wolf. Especially from you and your boyfriend!" Robotnik said "But this one will br a kick... promise" Brody said "Brody?" Sonic asks confused "Just trust me love" Brod said and spins like a living drill and spins inti the center of the island and Sonic does the same, gravel and rocks flying at the other's cage "What are those miserable rodent and furball up to, Snively?!" Robotnik asks "I don't know sir" Snively said as the duo kept drilling until they find a small cavity under the land and in it a worn down machine once used to pump out water and they use it making a geyser muddled down water shoots straight at the blimp.

"Snively, get us out of here NOW!" Robotnik said. Meanwhile the Freedom Fighters watch the blimp lose control "Those lil' o sugar-hog and sugar-wolf did it, Sally! They knocked Robotnik for a real loop! Woooh-wee!" Bunnie said "Where are they?" Sally asks as Sonic and Brody tear out of the ground and lands infront of them covered in mud  "Sonic! Brody are you two all right?" Sally asks and the duo nodded shaking the goo off and they look ito the sky as the blimps begins plummeting down "Check it out!" Brody said.

Robotnik and Snively leave the flooded room and make their way to an escape ship "Hurry, Snively! We are going to crash!" Robotnik said and Snively launches the ship activating the stealth system just as the blimp crashes "Clever move wolf. But the final move is mine" Robotnik said ready to fire a missile at the group "Doctor Robotnik, we've sustained major damage to the main circuitry!" Snively said "Then get it under CONTROL" Robotnik said "Goodbye... wolf amd hedgehog.." He said pressing the button but nothing happened "Why won't the missile launch?" He asks "Circuit grids are severely damaged sir! We must return before we lose all power!" Snively said "AAAAAH!" Robotnik said angry.

*Meanwhile*

Sonic and Brody searched around the island for Robotnik and Snively but couldn't find them and the island was starting to sink so they got Sally, Antoine and Bunny out by using the power rings to break the cage and then they got them back to Knothole.

*Later at Knothole*

Brody and Sonic are sitting back to back "You should have told me you had a nightmare dummy. Oh well, seems it was a warning of sorts, still you thought well under pressure love....Brody?" Sonic asks and looks at him seeing zbrody is dozing off "Oooh you're the most beautiful and adorable thing I've ever seen..." Brody said in his sleep making Sonic blush "G-geez, even in your sleep you are so blunt" Sonic said "You make my heart pound...Yesss there's no hedgehog like you..." Brody said in his sleep "Well that's true and there's no wolf more handsome than you" Sonic said giggling as this chapter comes to an end.
