Story and Character Development

Since we all know that I love gangster movies, I wanted to add a little bit of that into my story.

Maria (L/N) is a character I wanted to kill off because I didn't focus on her enough and although I thought everyone would want to, I wanted to kill her off and move on with the story instead.

There are so many gang names that I decided to go with "The Chef Mafia" because it would make a lot of sense: the Italian-American and the Aldini Brothers in a group to bring a change to Totsuki. At first, I wanted to have the brothers and (Y/N) (L/N) be the only people in that group, but when I watched the episode where Megumi scored 88 points in the preliminaries, I wanted to change that, but I thought maybe along the way could work, and it did.

The reason I wanted Megumi to join The Chef Mafia is because her heart and determination won me over. Food Wars! was about the skills and how amazing food can be, and Megumi, to me, is a symbol of hard work and dedication. Although she can get a little paranoid and not confident in her abilities, she can put all of those obstacles aside and keep going.

I fell in love with Ikumi Mito because she seemed like a chill and laidback person you wanna be around, although she can be a bit of a bitch sometimes. Her dressing like a model was also very brilliant because Ikumi May be hot and sexy, but she can kick your ass in cooking. Not to mention that she's a blonde, and I have a fetish for blonde girls, although it sounds very weird and creepy. I wanted her to be supportive of (Y/N), and somehow be his cheerleader, although I would forget to have her at the very end of the story. I didn't know how Ikumi had the American flag bikini top in the story, so I had to make it sound like a fellow New Yorker where the reader is.

Also, like in the third chapter of this "documentary", I wanted to have Akira be the WWE's Andrade/Seth Rollins and Jun to be WWE's Zelina Vega/AEW's Jake Hager (FKA Jack Swagger in WWE).
