I wanted to go with the classic jazz music like Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, The Sex Pistols, simply because of the reader having an Italian heritage with old ties to the Sicilian Mafia.

Whereas the American side of the reader, I wanted to add MØ, Phillip Phillips, Skillet, Poppy, Ledger, Downstait, and other artists and bands that would sound right.

I also had to put in "No Easy Way Out" by Robert Tepper because of how impactful the song can be on any topic like depression, suicide, revenge, vengeance, and competition. If it wasn't the right song for any topic, I don't know what is. I hope you say I'm not wrong in this because if you say I am, you gotta out of your mind if you think I'm wrong.

Music can help connect with a chapter/part in a story. That's why I put in music in each chapter, to make the mood of each song feel connected with the story.
