When I first started reading some Food Wars X Male Reader stories on Wattpad, I knew it was an opportunity to show what I can do with an Anime I watched before but it wasn't that great when I first saw the subbed version. However, when I saw the dubbed version, it all started making sense to me. Food Wars, to me, is a different breed than most anime I've seen. I'm a big fan of Attack On Titan, I love Ghost In The Shell, and now Food Wars, but I think Food Wars is an underrated anime because people go to Attack on Titan more often than not.

My mom hates anime, but the only anime shows I was allowed to watch growing up was Pokémon, the original Bakugan, Kiki's Delivery Service, the original Teen Titans, all of those shows were somehow linked to our fascination of our love for cartoons.

My mom just didn't like Attack On Titan when I showed an episode to her. And being from New York, the country part not the actual cities, she didn't grow up watching anime, and she doesn't understand it, but I do, and I think more than her. She may hate me for saying this but fuck her.

Food Wars or Shokugeki No Souma, gave me an outlet to express my love for cooking and I thought it was perfect: the competition, the rivalries, the recipes, and the storyline for people to relate to.

Enough of this spaghetti mess of an intro let's just get into it.
