In one X Male Reader, there was a moe moe cafe chef who was energetic, and in another story, there was one who grew up with his grandfather in a swamp who was shy and not very technologically savvy. I decided to add those two personalities together and create a new character.

But for the background of (Y/N) (L/N), I wanted to make him an Italian-American with ties to the Sicilian Mafia, of course because I love gangster movies. I wanted to do something different with this character, and even though we have two Italian guys named Takumi and Isami Aldini, I wanted to add another Italian in the mix.

The plot was about the passion for cooking, the risks, the challenges, and how (Y/N) (L/N) can deal with those obstacles. I wanted to make Erina his soon to be lover in the story. Of course the other stories I read had harems and I don't believe in that type of thing. I believe one girl is enough, you know? I wanted to keep it that way. And I wanted to put a little bit of the Rocky franchise into it. The franchise, it wasn't about fighting or championships, it was about life. I wanted to put something like that in the story as well.

Yeah you can do a drinking game and take a shot whenever I say "story". Go for it.
