(Izuku's P.O.V)

After the announcement of the injured civilians were okay, we were free to go back to the school or our homes to see our families. I got to visit my mom for a while and she was happy to see me. She asked questions on what happened and if Y/n was okay. I told her everything was alright and that she should be heading back to the school by now. She was so happy and told me that she watched on the news and saw that Y/n was fighting villains, giving orders to others, and even saw her save me at one point from that crazy blonde girl, like an actual hero.

When I was ready to head back to the school, she gave me some snacks, food, and a lot of other gifts for Y/n, as an apology and thank you gift. I left and carried the stuff back to school in the rain and saw injured heros and students going around campus helping each other's wounds. I gulped and rushed to the dorm. Inside, my classmates were also patching each other up and resting on the floor. Probably too tired and in pain to go to their own rooms or even move.

"Hey guys, have you seen Y/n yet?" I ask. Everyone shakes their heads and say no while Mineta cries.

"She's probably up in her room sleeping instead of helping us!" He complains. I go up to my room and put her gifts away and head up to the roof to her room. I knock on her door, but no one answers. I try to go around to see if her blinds are open since they usually are when she's there, but they're closed. I tried to call her, but there was no answer. Going back around, and see the little robot still by her door. I walk up to it and bend down to it's level as it looks up at me.

"U-um, excuse me, but, is Y/n here?" I ask, pointing to her room.

"Negative." I replies cutely.

"Well, do you know how long it's been since she was last in here?"

"Over 24 hours ago." I stiffen and remember, that was around the time when she left for her mission. Getting up, I leave the dorm in a rush and headed to Principal Nezu's office. If anyone knows where she is at all times, it would be him. I rush past busy heros and through empty halls until I reached his office. I knock and wait for an answer. When I hear someone say 'Come in', I open the door and see him at his desk with a small smile.

"Oh, yes. Izuku Midoriya. Is there something you need?"

"Yes sir. I'm sorry to bother you, but I was wondering of you knew where Y/n L/n was?"

"Ah, unfortunately, I am not able to see where she is since her phone was destroyed, but don't worry, I have someone looking for her as we speak. So there is no need to worry, I'll bring her back home. I'll have someone notify you when I do."

I nod. "Y-yes sir." I gulp nervously. "I was also wondering. The crisis is over, so why is every hero rushing around frantically?"

"This Midoriya, is what will happen after a mass attack. With a lot of places in the city destroyed, injured civilians are put in top priority, so the heros who are trained to heal are sent every where to heal the majorly injured, and the other heros who have injured students on campus, or injured civilians in the area, have to go around and try to keep everyone alive until the healers come back. That's why everyone is running around helping each other. It will be a while for Recovery Girl to come back for us since she's with civilians at hospitals." He explains. I nod and thank him for his time and left the room.

I thought to myself as I made my way back to the dorm, thinking where she could be. During the rescuing, we split up to search more of the destruction, but I don't know which way she went. I couldn't even talk to All Might since he was in the hospital. Even Midnight. I couldn't call Mr. Aizawa since I didn't even have his number, and he wasn't at the dorm or anywhere on campus as far as I knew. I just have to focus on the others and help any injured people here.

Though something doesn't feel right all of a sudden, but I don't know why.

(Narrator's P.O.V)

Principle Nezu was out helping the wounded before he headed back to his office for a moment to get his phone from his desk since he accidentally left it there. He was looking through it anxiously, expecting a call about Y/n any time now until Izuku knocked on this door. After their conversation, and Izuku leaving, the strange animal finally finds his phone and he goes to check his voice mails until his screen is overtaken by a call from the chief of police, and he immediately answers it. Before he can get a word out, the chief speaks first.

"We've got Y/n in a Government Lab, she's in critical condition, hurry over here, I'll send you our coordinates." He hung up and like he said, he sent their location. He left Present Mic, Cementos, and Snipe in charge of the school, and made his was over to the Lab as fast as he could.

When he finally arrived, and officers letting him into the private facility, he was led to where the Chief was and exhaled gratefully.

"What happened to her? Is she okay? Where is she?" He asked, asking him several questions at once, but the Chief just had him sit in a chair in a resting area and had an officer get a water for him while they talked.

"When we got Hacker's help to see through every public security camera, Y/n was finally spotted. It was hard to find her because many buildings were destroyed and those that weren't were a bit damaged during battles anyways, but we managed to find her from the security camera inside a television store she was resting at. It shows her injured badly and falling to the ground, but didn't get back up, so I had my officers go and find her, but it took a while because of the city's damage, so when they finally did find her, it was too late."

"W-.....what do you mean too late??" Nezu asked as he began shaking in fear.

"When they found her...she was already dead." The Principal almost broke down but the Chief held him up. "Listen, we managed to bring her back by shooting her up with adrenaline and constant CPR until she got here. Now we have our best scientists from America working on her right now. She will come back to us once again."

Nezu sighed in relief and sat in a nearby chair in exhaustion.

"I'm glad, it's just....I've been working on giving her a life like the other kids her age by working around the restrictions against her as much as I can. I give her a bigger room than the other students, so she can feel what it's like to live in a room in a house like the others did before the dorms. I let her have contact with the other students. She is able to roam the campus freely and the city with supervision, and I even made sure to not put the electric collar on her."

"Yes, you went against every strict rule, Tartarus, The Prime Minister of Japan, and I, put towards her....." He looks to the ground.

"....But?" Nezu urged on.

"But....she became a terrific hero, regardless of what others thought. Regardless of what I thought. Somehow, you saw something past her snarky sarcasm and turned her into someone completely new. I remember during the Tartarus incident a few years ago, she stopped every villain she could from escaping, and when everything was under control again, the guards treated her as if she did something wrong. She took every hit and electric shock they threw at her, and never fought back. She continued to stay in her cell, with such a gray emotionless face. Though she hated authority, the day you and All Might took her in she instantly took to you both and authority didn't seem to be much of a problem anymore, and she even goes out of her way to help people, and make them happy. She became a better person, and a well rounded citizen in your care."

Nezu shook his head. "I can't take the credit for that. The President and Vice President of her class were the ones who made her an astonishing role model. The teachers she had helped her get over her problem with authority. Her classmates helped her see what people from different backgrounds are like. And Izuku...Izuku Midoriya was the one who helped her realize that she had to help others, even if it meant she would be hurt in the process. They even taught her what it means to love. Him and All Might were the main ones to shape her into a hero."

"Hey. Don't forget me. I helped train her after all." The two look and see Gran Torino walking up to them.

"Ah, yes, I invited Gran Torino and Eraser Head here too." The Chief explains.

Nezu jumps off the chair and shakes hands with the old hero. "Yeah, I came. Aizawa will be a bit late though. He was helping clear the streets for civilians then headed back to U.A to check on his students just now. He'll be here later. We're not gonna let Y/n be alone." The other two agree with him and wait. 

Aizawa comes later on and they all stay for 3 days, occasionally switching out with a selected few to stay in there place so that they can go check on their duties and return again, waiting for any news on Y/n. On the fourth day, All Might comes too, bandaged up after leaving the hospital. They're all together, praying for Y/n, and then suddenly, two identical twin scientists come out of the Lab and they all jump up and go to them.

"We have news on Y/n's condition. Would you like to hear them?" One with black hair asks. The 5 nodded eagerly. "Alright, so we found she has been dead for 47 minutes which, for normal modern technology, would mean she's too far gone to bring back. But good news is, with our new tech, we brought her back. Bad news is, we have to keep bringing her in and out of a cryogenic state for short periods of time to keep her vitals steady so we can give her the medicine she needs, because she will die if left unfrozen since her body is too damaged to heal her wounds all at once. So this process is estimated to take between four to seven days for her major injuries to heal completely. And that's if we have 24/7 scientists to work on her." 

All Might steps forward. "What are all the injuries she has?" He asks. The other scientist with white hair looks through her clipboard.

"She has two broken ribs, one has punctured a lung, we had to drain her lung of blood; Internal bleeding; Her left arm was broken in two places; bruising mainly on her back and stomach; She has about 16 deep lacerations all over her body; Major blood loss; A hairline fracture at the top left side of her skull; A crack in her jaw; and a concussion." She explains in one breath. Aizawa rubbed his face in distress at the thought of all those injuries she had to endure.

The first scientist stepped up and bowed slightly and spoke with a gentle voice. "There is no need to worry. We will bring her back as best we can. With our new hyper-cell and regeneration medicine we created, she should be able to heal completely in at most 2 weeks."

The others sigh in relief and thank them.

"Do what you have to. Has she woken up yet? Or will she wake up anytime soon?" Nezu wondered. The other followed her sister's bow.

"She should be waking up at the end of the first week."

The Chief shakes their hands gratefully. "Thank you so much for your hard work. Do what you must to bring her back. Contact us if anything new happens. I'll be coming in to check in on her regularly."

"Me too." All Might agrees, but Aizawa pulls him back.

"No, I will. You're still greatly injured and you need to rest. Not to mention that the students will need you. Their start to the summer didn't exactly start off well. Don't worry, I'll fill you in on what I see." The hero assures. All Might looks to the ground and nods in understanding. 

The scientist twins nods thank them for their time and say goodbye before heading back to the Lab to work on Y/n. The group all sigh heavily, and leave the hidden facility together. They all were silent on the way to their own destination, thinking about nothing else but Y/n.
