Part 6

(All Might's P.O.V)

It was me in my muscle form, Thirteen, Present Mic, and Principal Nezu, who was in his pj's, all standing in the first floor lobby. I was stressing. Aizawa was sent to go get her a long time ago, but Y/n hasn't came back yet. What is happening out there?

"Are you sure I can't just go out there Principal?" I asked, nervousness laced through my voice, though I hated it, I didn't try to cover it up.

He shook his head. "This is something that needs to be done, just to be sure. It's better to be safe than sorry."

Thirteen huffs. "I hope they haven't gotten into any trouble."

"What if she used her quirk yo! Do you think she could have went awol?" Present Mic wondered. The principal only shook his head no.

"I can't be sure, but I don't feel like she will." I'm praying he's right. I've only met her today and she's' become as important to me as young Midoriya has. We suddenly hear agonizing screams quickly coming our way from down the street. We run to the glass walls to look outside and see Aizawa and y/n on top of a taxi car covered in bolts of electricity. The car came to an abrupt stop after they both fell to the ground hard. I wanted to run out for her, but was stopped by Nezu. "That wouldn't be wise All Might, it's still going on."

I groaned and just pushed all my prayers out to her. After a minute, they both started to move again. Y/n got up quicker with a good struggle, and limped over, I could even hear her sort of pleading grunts. 'So close! She's so close! Come on y/n! You're almost here!' She approached the door, I opened it to let her walk in, but then she gave one last sigh before the light left her eyes, and she fainted.

"Y/n!" I yelled and caught her before she hit the ground. She thankfully was still breathing. "Y/n, I'm so proud of you, you did it. I'm so glad you're okay," I whispered, holding her close, "We need Recovery Girl, they both look pretty banged up."

"Don't worry, I'm already here." The little old lady came out in her little night gown and crouched down to y/n. "I was woken up by their screaming and came down to check if anyone was hurt."

"Thank you Recovery Girl, you always are the reliable one. I'm sorry I didn't bring this to your attention earlier." Principal Nezu bowed.

"Oh hush now, It's my duty to you all to help out. Now take her and Aizawa to my infirmary, I think I can get them as good as new by tomorrow morning before school."

"Yes, Of course."

(Your P.O.V)

I thought I was gonna go blind when a bright light was cast over my face. Groaning I slowly opened my eyes away from the light and looked around, the window showed the sun just coming up. This place was sort of familiar.

Like the infirmary in Tartarus.

Visions of the abuse and torment in that infirmary flashed before my eyes as I started breathing heavily. The experiments and indescribably horrifying doctors above me made me want to scream.

I shut my eyes and curled up to keep them away from me, fighting against the feeling of the restraints, needles, and rough cold hands. An aggressive buzz filled my body as the pressure around me began to shake.

Why does this air feels so cold? The punishments of freezer burned equipment along my skin was maddening. For so long they don't stop as they laugh at my resistance and calls for help.

"STOP!" I hollered, ripping at my hair, trying to feel anything else other than the cold of that hellish office. Then, the buzzing stops, and the pressure is gone.

And I suddenly feel empty, powerless....helpless, just like then.

"NO!" I scream, until warm hands grips my wrists, and pulls me up, calling my name.

I look and see Aizawa standing next to me with a yellow sleeping bag in a mess on the ground, and a concerned expression on his face, while his hair stood up. He was using his quirk...on me.

"Calm down. You're safe here, okay? You're in the nurse's office."

I started hyperventilating again and crying. "No-o! Let me GO!! Give me back my quirk!! I need to stop them! They need to die! I'm not safe without my quirk!"

"Y/n! Who are you talking about?" He questions, bringing me close as I bury my face in his shirt, soaking it in every tear I shed.

"The Doctors! In that hell hole! Every week they hurt me for so many years!! WHY?!" I broke in his arms.

My teacher breathed out in disbelief as he held me closer. Bringing me into the comforting warmth of his body.

"You....You've been in there for too long........I'm so sorry..." He whispered weakly.

After who knows how long of him comforting me as I balled my eyes out, he managed to calm me down and helped clean my face off. I didn't realize I had woke up in a cold sweat.

"How are you feeling?" He asks getting his sleeping bag off the ground. I huffed and sat for a moment, feeling at peace now that I know I'm free and safe. Crying it out was a lot of help. But now I know. Tartarus did more damage to me than I thought it did. "Y/n?" Aizawa called again, snapping me from my thoughts. I nodded as my memories from the previous night hit me like a wave.

"I-I'm fine now. Thank you. Though- not to be awkward, but what the heck was all that yesterday?"

"Oh, that. I'll explain later, so don't take it to heart. Come on, we need to get back to the apartment and get ready for school. You have a long day today, just like all the other students." And with that, he just walks off. All I could do was follow him, so I did. As we were walking, I realized we were in U.A. We walked off campus, down the street, back to the apartment building, until a lady at the front desk in the lobby looked to us.

"Ms. L/n! I'm so glad you're okay, how are you this morning?"

"O-oh, I'm fine, thank you."

"Wonderful, well, your things have been sent up to your room, have a great first day!" She cheerfully waved. She was nice.

"Thank you." I wave back.

"Come on y/n. I'm not about to wait any longer." Aizawa said in the door of the elevator. I ran up and joined him. When I was in, the door closed.

"Who was she? She seemed...normal." She just fascinated me with how normal she was compared to all the other people I've met so far.

"Her name is Riyu Higashi, her Hero name is Snap Shot. She use to work for the police force and now for us. She can tap into any camera system anywhere and keep surveillance over the building for us."

"But you're pros, you guys don't need protection."

"We do, when we're asleep, we can be vulnerable just like anyone else. Even Heros need Heros." He states, and I stuck that phrase in my head.

The door opened and we went to our own apartment rooms. As he walked into his place, I realized I didn't have my stuff. I huffed and raised my hand to knock on the door. "No need Ms. L./n, that's what I'm here for." I jump as the receptionist's voice came from above the door. I look and see it's a round camera with a blue ring looking down at me. "If you don't have your card, you'll be fine, it's only when you have a guest over is when you will need to verify with me. When you're on your own, the door knob has a fingerprint scanner on it so it will only open when it is either you or Mr. All Might. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask me! Have a nice day!" And with that the light stopped glowing and there was no more voice.

"Well..." I didn't know what to say so I just slowly opened the door, and what do you know, she was right. I walk in and see my blonde guardian sitting on the couch watching tv. "I'm back."

He turns his head and smiles, getting up and jogged up, pulling me into a warm hug. So familiar. It must have been his warmth from last night. "Thank goodness, I'm so glad you're okay." He pulled away and patted my head. "Well, I would love to talk to you, but school will start soon. Your uniform is in the bathroom, and all the stuff you and Kayama bought last night is in your room. You can go fix up your room when you come back home-."

"-Wait, is she okay?? Last night she-"

"She's okay, you'll understand later when you get into class, now hurry on, don't want you to be late on your first day." I nodded sadly and walked off into the bathroom. After a quick shower, I fixed my hair, put on my uniform, which fit me pretty well, and headed back to All Might. He was again, on the couch watching tv until he saw me.

"You look great, now here," He handed me the school bag I got last night. "It has some notebooks and the supplies you will need for your classes, and your wallet."

"Oh, thank you! I thought I lost it from yesterday. Thank you All Might."

"Don't mention it kid, and when we're off campus, or alone, just call me Toshinori," I nodded, "well, are you ready for your first day?"

"Yeah, I'm a little nervous though."

"Don't be, you'll do great, I already know." He patted my head and walked with me.

Here it goes, my first day at U.A!
