Part 39

I yawned and stretched awkwardly. Laying on a roof with nothing else is not the best idea.

"W-were gonna w-what?!" I heard my little cinnamon roll of a boyfriend's voice across the street. I open my eyes and see it's probably around noon, based on how the sun is trying to blind me. Staying low I crawled to the edge of the building and looked. Izuku, in his suit, and Torino were locking the door to the building.

"I said, we're gonna go to Shibuya to fight some real villains so I can see what you got. So stop complaining and lets go."

"B-But what if y/n figures out her training and comes back while we're gone!"

"Relax kid. Jeez, stop freaking out so much, it's gonna be fine. And besides, that's why I left notes on the table for her on how to find us when she does come back."

"But the doors are locked."

"So? She's gonna break her way in just like she did last time knowing her and her. So calm down and lets go."

They both walk down the street and disappear into the crowd of people. I huff and do as he predicted. Through the back door of course. I got in and immediately stripped from my gross smelling suit and tossed it into the washer and sped off to the shower. After doing my regular routine, the suit finished and I tossed it into the dryer. In a towel, I walked to the living room and spotted the note Torino mentioned and sat on the couch as soon as I grabbed it.

When I read it, it said,

"Dear young l/n,

I have taken young Midoriya out to train against some villains out in Shibuya.

If you have figured out how to do the move, then in order to get to us, all you have to do is take the Shinjuku bullet train.

I believe there will be plenty of skirmishes in a populated area like Shibuya.

Call us when you get here so we can come get you.

Take a taxi to the train station though. Money for it is in the envelope on the counter.

Your welcome.

Yours truley~

Gran Torino ♥

Ps. You're not a bad fighter if you can't get that move. (If you haven't gotten it yet.)
Don't think you're anything less than a hero if you haven't.

I smiled softly at the letter. "So he does have a heart." I flip the letter over, and barely noticed a large bit in small lettering in the corner.

P.P.S: (I hope you don't read this because this is embarrassing.) If you haven't gotten the move yet, then I have failed you as a mentor. With all the help from the pros in U.A, All Might says you catch on quickly, so if what he says is true, then that means I have failed you as a mentor to teach you properly. I will train you myself more thoroughly when we get back. Just me and you. Your annoying little boyfriend did tell me my mistakes with you when we got back here. I knew he was right, so I'm taking time out to take care of those mistakes and help you get it! So you better be grateful!

I laugh out to myself with a big smile and tears of joy in my eyes. 'And here I thought something was wrong with me.' I thought.

While the suit was drying, I decided to make a sandwich and ate peacefully at the table watching the news. The news anchorman was relaying the news with a question mark over a picture of the smoking rubble of the area I was at last night.

I turned it up. "This oughta be good." I chimed while still chewing on my sandwich.

"A strange and mysterious event occurred last night when an abandoned parking garage exploded into rubble and fire. Witnesses say they only saw the explosion at a distance and called the authorities, noting they only saw the explosion but not the cause due to the darkness. Though when police arrived at the scene, the entire structure was destroyed. No one knows if someone caused this, or if it was some type of electrical accident. Who knows, investigators will look more into it."

"Mh, well, more anti-climactic than I thought." I sigh and turn off the tv, flipped on the radio to my favorite station and went to retrieve my underwear from my bag. When I put them on, I laid on the couch with my eyes closed, imagining myself in a music video of the songs that played until the dryer dinged. I put them on, and turned everything in the house off, took Gran Torino's notes with me, and locked the door behind me, walking off, following the instructions I was given.

💚

The time that passed was pretty calming. I was't bothered or inconvenienced as I rode the taxi and train. Though the only thing was people staring at me in my hero costume, but that wasn't really a bother. The ride was long and the sky was already turning dark. We were entering Hosu when suddenly, the train came to a harsh abrupt stop. We all scream out in surprise and try to grab onto something as we look around in confusion. Everyone looked outside and saw the light from fire coated buildings and explosions light up the night, horror and sorrow came form their whimpers. Then someone over the intercom stutters weakly.

"U-Ugh. S-sorry folks, b-but, w-we can't-"

"Just move!" A more gruff voice takes over. "We can't continue this route. The previous train is still on the tracks ahead of us. It seems there was a villain attack just minutes ago." The other passengers gasp in fear and grab their phones. "But don't worry folks, the heroes are already on it and the station will have both trains running promptly. So everyone just stay calm-"

I  had tuned him out already. 'Izuku and Gran Torino were on the previous train.' I stood up, stretched, popping all the strain of sitting for a long time out of my bones and fixed my clothes.

"N-no...no-no-look! That is her! The U.A girl from the Sports Festival, with the strange quirk!!" Some group of high school students cheered, pointing blatantly at me. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at me. "I knew that was her!" I tried to ignore them and tightened my gloves.

"Wait- you're not getting ready to go out there are you?" A woman asked from another seat a little behind me.

I looked at her with a small smile. "I have to."

Then a middle aged man came to her side. "You can't, you're only a U.A student. Not a real Pro. And besides, it's against the law. You'll get in a lot of trouble, if not, severely injured, or worse."

I pushed my hair out the way and walked to the side doors, remembering what I learned in street law in Aizawa's class. "It's only against the law if I fight villains without a permit, not if I help save people from catastrophes." I give one last reassuring smile their way. "Besides. My boyfriend and mentor are on that other train. Knowing those idiots, they were the heroes who fought off the enemy, so I have to help." I grabbed the lining of the doors and pried them open with a bit of effort. The hot wind of the growing fires roared all around me. Forming a platform ahead of me, I walked out onto the hardened glowing air and forced the doors back shut. I ran along air pressure steps away from the train, and as soon as I was far enough, I exploded the pressure below my feet and flew around the city looking for the two. I nearly stopped when I saw Pro Heros struggling to fight different Nomus on several streets. I wanted to help so badly, but then I would have gone against what I just said, and broken the law. My first priority has to be Izuku and Torino. Then we can devise a plan by then.
