Stoick

Ever since I saw Hayden, Sorry, I mean Hiccup, come back to Berk, it was quite a great shock to me of how much he has grown during the past year. He seems more older, more independent and more aware of the dangers.

Gobber sees me as he said, "You all right, Stoick? You seemed distant ever since you were rescued by Hayden and Toothless."

I replied, "He doesn't like to be called, " 'Hayden', anymore. He's Hiccup now."

"Just because he's 16, doesn't mean that you shouldn't talk to the boy." He advise me.

I looked at the Blacksmith with shock. Can I really talk to Hiccup after what I've said to him a year ago?

Hiccup was talking to his students for more details. "Ok, Emma, I leave everything up to you and Skylar."

"Don't worry, Hiccup. You taught us everything we need to know, and are you sure that Emma and I are the best idea to save Berk?" Emma asks the teen nervously as she was scared.

"I know it's all too sudden for you to graduate from the Academy, but I couldn't be any more prouder of you two as being a friend and teacher." He said, ruffing the girls' hair.

Right on cue, he saw me, staring at him as if this was too awkward for him to bear.

Come on, Stoick, you can to this, right? He couldn't be that mad after all of this can't he?

As I was about to approach the young teenager, Ingrid said, "I will not let you talk to him, Chief. Just because you were once his father, doesn't change what you did to him over the year he lived with me and my father."

I felt hurt, but is she right? Did my emotions let the best of me?

Hiccup touches her shoulder, "Ingrid, I will talk to him after we set Berk free from Viggo. Let's just focus on that for a while."

Fishlegs

As I see Hiccup with the Chief, I could understand that they weren't friendly with each other. Stoick did something to him that make their relationship as father and son a little bit difficult.

"Fishlegs, you looking at Stoick and Hayden, I mean Hiccup?" Snoutlout asks. I nodded with a certain agreement.

"This could be a while to not call Hayden by his real name." I said to the Viking, "He also looked a bit older and more mature when we last saw him in Berk."

Snoutlout said, "I still can't believe that Stoick banished Hiccup like that! I know what he did was wrong of keeping the darkest secret: Training a dragon. But making him exiled and an Outcast is very unreasonable."

"I wished that we gone to the Hall that day and stopped Stoick from making a horrible mistake." I sighed.

That is when Hiccup spoke up, "Fishlegs, what happened wasn't your fault or the other teens. What is done is done. We can't change of what has happened in the past."

Snoutlout looked at him with a curious look, "When did you became so wise? I never seen that side of you before."

"Well, Tames did gave me some advice when I was living in Dragon Paradise and he like a father to me and Ingrid."

We looked at Ingrid, "So, you like Ingrid?"

He scoffed at the idea of him and Ingrid as a couple. "You really think I fall for her? Nah, I don't like her that way! That would be weird for the both of us.

I like Ingrid as a sister. Tames almost consider me as his own son to be honest."

"Really?!? Wow, that's amazing honor, Hay-I mean, Hic." I said.

He said, "I know that you thought that it was my fault for leaving you guys suffer under Viggo's rule, but I'm going to make him to repay what he has done to my orginal home."

"Ok, we're with you, Hiccup, all the way." Astrid said, and she was wearing a new attire and so not recognizable!

Astrid

As I in my battle attire that I had made myself, Hiccup and the other Berkians were staring at me.

"What?" I asked them. Hiccup walked towards me then smiled at my attire. "Wow, Astrid... you looked beautiful."

I blushed at the comment, "You really think so? If it is too much-"

He waved, "No, it's not! You know you would pass as a villager in Dragon Paradise if you live there."

"Oh.. thanks?" I wasn't sure if that was a compliment or not .

"So, Emma and Skylar would make a diversion as Toothless, Sly and the other Dragons make their move on my command."

"Ok, what then?" I asked, wondering more about Hic's plan. 

"Then we fight, simple as that. You wanted freedom don't you?" He asks the Berkians.

Tames said, "I know that having Hiccup back is such a surprise, but he is here to help."

Stoick didn't say anything. Was he in grief of seeing his own son once again, or am I imagining things?
