Stoick

As the villagers of Berk walked around in the Great Hall, mostly they were thinking about the sixteen year old Viking, Hiccup and his dragon, Toothless.

Hiccup hasn't gone back to Berk since the battle with Ryker. It seems to be weird for us to learn that we didn't really appreciated Hiccup mostly because that we actually feared of Dragons.

Now thanks to him, we changed our ways. The arena that where we killed Dragons, became a Dragon Academy, a school for the children of Berk to learn more about Dragons and will become Dragon Trainers, just like Hiccup.

Ingrid helps out as well, for teaching young girls to swordfight and helps out Gobber in the Blacksmith shop.

Thorando looks at me as if something was wrong. I patted the Thunderdum and said, "It's all right, boy. I was just wondering what is Hiccup doing right now. It seems a while since we parted ways."

The sixteen year old Rider said that he was needed back at Dragon Paradise but promised that he would visit.

I wonder what could he meant by he was needed back at Dragon Paradise for? Was it something in the scroll that Tames gave me?

As I was thinking, a little blue terror came and it meant one thing: Terror Mail.

I opened it and my eyes widen.

I rounded up the other Teens and we went back to Dragon Paradise.

Hiccup  

Ever since Tames's death, I was pretty busy as being Chief. It was a lot of hard work, rebuilding the huts that had been damaged during the battle and finding families to reunite with their love ones.

I sighed with relief as I slipped into Tames's Chieftain Chair.

The black Night Fury cuddles me as I said, "It was a lot of work, but it was worth it. I think that we should tell the others now. Astrid was right. All I needed was things to settle down a bit."

In that moment, the doors were opened to see that the Berkians had arrived.

Astrid knew about me being the Chief of Dragon Paradise and I made her promise not to reveal it unless I said so.

"Hi, Son. You seemed tired." Stoick said, curiously.

I replied, "Depends on rebuilding huts from the battle and reuniting family members, yes. I am tired."

Fishlegs asks, "Why you didn't come back to Berk? Since the battle, you seemed distance lately."

Ingrid looks at me, "Why you in my Dad's Chieftain Chair? Only a Chief would sit on there. Wait, where is my Father?"

It seems weird that Hiccup is sitting in my Dad's chair. Hiccup seems different as well. His eyes were determined, not happy as it used to be.

He also changed his red hood to a sliver cover hood, but I still see his auburn hair coming out of the hood.

Toothless looks at me with sad expression, as if telling me was harder than it looks.

Astrid said, "Hiccup, since you made me not to say anything, is it ok to tell them now?"

The whole group looks at her with confusion expressions on their faces.

"Wait a second, you made a promise to Hiccup bout something?!?" Skylar asks, felt disappointed.

"Sorry, Skylar, but Astrid was one of the person I can trust with my problems." Hiccup explains to the young Dragon Rider with embarrassment.

"Well, are you going to explain or not?" Snoutlout desperately asks, and Astrid swung him across the room and hits the wall of the Great Hall.

Hic looks at her, "Since when you can do that?"

The short -hair Viking replied, "A year since we last saw each other."

Tuffnut helps the poor Viking up , "Yeah, we learn the hard way to not mess with Astrid."  

We all laugh, knowing it was true about what Tuffnut said.

Hiccup turns to me, "Ingrid, the reason I am sitting in your father's chair... something happened. Astrid you tell them, I had to visit Tames."

"Wait, Hiccup! What you mean by visit Tames?" Gobber asks.

Astrid said, "Well, Hiccup has new responsibilities now... as the new Chief of Dragon Paradise."

"WHAT?!?"  We yelled in unison.

No, that is not possible.... it can't be. It can't be true.

"Ingrid-" Hiccup said, trying to comfort me, but I snapped at him, "No, you can't be telling me that my father's dead! It's not true, you're lying!"

I run as fast I could. "Ingrid, wait!" I hear Hiccup said, as I flew into Sly's back, not to believe what Hiccup said.

Fishlegs

As we watched Sly and Ingrid flew away from us, The Chief of Dragon Paradise sighs.

Stoick said, "I'm a little bit confused here. How you become the new Chief of Dragon Paradise, Son?"

"Well, to be totally honest, guys, I didn't know that Tames had a position of me being the Chief, even though I knew that Ingrid was the originally heir to be next in line of being Chief."  Hic said.

"Wait, where is Tames? If you are the Chief, what you say is..." I said.

"He's dead. That's what Hiccup was trying to say. Ryker murdered him." Astrid replied.

"Where is his body?" Stoick asks.

" I was planning to do a funeral for him, but I really don't know if I can handle it." Hic said.

"We'll support you." A new voice said.

Hiccup smiles at the newcomer as we turned around.

There was a big dragon and his Rider jumped off the dragon.

 Heather asks, "Who are you?"

Only Stoick came forth towards him and removes his helmet to reveal a woman!

The woman was somewhat curious of why Stoick acted so curiously towards her.

"I know that I was away, for sixteen years, Stoick. I did try to change your mind, all of Berk and did you ever listen to me, or Hayden?"

"I thought it was better that you raised our child alone, but I was wrong, I see that now."

Stoick didn't reply for a second as we watched them.

Astrid asks, "Who is she? And why Stoick acting this way?"

"She's actually my mother. Meet Valka Haddock." Hiccup said, rubbing his head, but I see his emotions were curiosity, bewilderment and worry as he watches his family being reunited for the first time in sixteen years of his life.

As Stoick touches her cheek, he said the most beautiful words I've hear in my life.

"You're as beautiful as the day I lost you."

Tears steams from Valka's eyes as she and Stoick share a passionate kiss.

Hiccup said, "Mom. Dad. As the Chief of Dragon Paradise, I herby promise that Berk will always welcomed here."

"What about Ingrid? She is all alone now, and you're the Chief-" I said, but Stoick said, "She's going to live with me. She's going to be Ingrid Haddock now. Tames asks me to adopt her and I kept my word. I'll talk to her."

He went away with Thorando to find her.

"So, what we do now?" Astrid asks Hiccup, curiously.
