Third Person Perspective

The night before went by rather quickly, as Slender had made dinner for them, then left to make dinner for his home. Trender said he had a meeting and work to get on, so after some small talk with (Y/n), he left.

Though Offender was still there, Splendor and (Y/n) still had a goodnight. Offender actually joined them at some point. They watched Disney movies, they then threw in Shrek which made Offender join. Then came the discussion on if (Y/n) would date a "monster" like an ogre and she said yes, so the boys got off on that, trying to make her give a reasoning and stuff.

She kind of found it funny, she thought they were asking her to joke around. Like she was Fiona and asking her if she was sure about Shrek. She didn't realize that they considered themselves monsters.

Offender had soon left and Splendor and (Y/n) fell asleep, cuddled up together on the same couch. The morning had awoken them earlier than it needed to. (Y/n) was all groggy and grumpy, so Splendor sent her to bed while he made breakfast. She flopped onto the bed and quickly fell back asleep.

When she awoke again, she was in Splendor's arms. He was carrying her down the stairs. She nuzzles him and whines.

"I can walk" she pouts. She didn't and did like it when he picked her up, but either way she'd pout. He chuckled and brought her down in his arms anyhow. He did however put her in her feet when they reached the bottom.

"Trender said he'll be here at 1 to get you. He said you need to have a neutral look to go shopping in. I have no idea what that means, but he said you'd get it." Splendor said while serving food and drinks. (Y/n) nodded.

"I know what he means. I wonder which mall he's taking me to. There are a few good ones in the city and a little out of the way, but, I don't know." She sighed and soon took a bite of food.

"I don't understand the whole shopping thing. I just like the candy stores the have in malls." Splendor chuckled. He then stopped eating as (Y/n) suddenly bolted upstairs. "(Y/n)?!"

Splendor followed after her, not wanting to suddenly teleport in and catch her in a bad moment. When he got to her door, he gently knocked. "(Y/n)... are you ok?"

Suddenly the door flew open and an excited (Y/n) stood there with a small pocket sized book as well as a small pouch. She then went back down stairs, pulling him along with her as she started blabbering.

"Candy stores are great! I wish that the little fill the bag things weren't so expensive though. I always liked sneaking off from my parents to go to the candy store. I'd get a reasonable amount of candy with my spending money then I'd sneak it home and put it in my hide-y hole!"

She sat back down in her chair and smiled innocently up at Splendor like she totally didn't just do that, yet she was panting heavily. He stared at her for a moment before bursting out laughing. Her smile grew, thinking he was laughing at her mischievousness or her love for candy. He beamed down at her and cupped her face, kneeling down.

"You're so cute!" He chirped happily, still chuckling at the young girl's behavior. (Y/n) blushed, but was still smiling.

"I'm here earlier than I thought I was going to be but—" Trender had popped up randomly in the living room. He looks at the two, caught off guard by the image before him.

Splendor was one his knees, holding the face of a red faced (Y/n). She was panting and he was awfully close to her face. Trender blinked, completely confused.

"Is something going on between you two that I don't know about?" Trender asked, clearly implying something. Splendor blushed and (Y/n) tilted her head confused.

"No! Trender what are you even doing here so early?!" Splendor asked, sounding embarrassed and caught off guard.

"I got off work early, so I wanted to see what's going on. But then I saw that and—"

"Never mind! We're having breakfast! Would you like some?" (Y/n) jumped up and out of her seat and went over to Trender.

"Yeah! Come eat with us! Splendor makes great pancakes!" (Y/n) gently grabbed his hand, which was a few times bigger than hers, like Splendor's. She seemed to look at his hand fondly, which Trender found interesting. She then lead him to the table and made him seat in the seat next to the one she was in.

"Sure I guess I'll have something to eat before we leave." Trender nodded to Splendor then looked at (Y/n). She was still holding his hand, but also eating again. When Splendor was out of earshot he cleared his throat, which earned a curious stare and tilt of the head from the small girl.

"Hm?" She hummed, because she had a mouth full of food. He looked down at their hands. She followed his gaze then blushed and let go. She swallowed her food, and then mumbled "s-Sorry...".

Trender grinned. She was pretty cute when she didn't mean to be. "It's alright. I just wanted to make sure you knew you were doing it."

(Y/n) nods and drinks her drink and continues eating. She had an embarrassed blush on her cheeks. He "grinned". "Well since I'm here, I'll help you get ready."

"Yeah... thanks Trender..." She smiled at him, he looked at her contently.

They were soon all sitting together and eating. They enjoyed each other's company and talked casually.

(Y/n) felt happy. She's never had this before. But she wanted it to stay this way. At least for a little while...
