Like anything else to be honest, the school year went flying by us all in no time. Vik now has a girlfriend named Sky, Mitch found a girl when he went back to Canada for a few weeks, her name is Tasha. Also strangely Ethan found a girl, her name is Ifta and her eyes captivated him at first glance. Well that's what he told us anyway.

The first semester flew by, soon enough it was time for mid-year exams.

Vik, Tobi and Josh passed with flying colors,

While the rest of us just made it,

Though JJ had to do a makeup exam because he walked out half way through the exam because he couldn't say the word 'bibliography' and got mad.

"Preston!"

But I still have Mr. Jackman to deal with till the end of this year,

"Yes?"

"Get back to work! Or it'll be a detention!"

Same old same old I guess, trying to hand out detentions like its candy. Speaking of candy where is Lachlan? That blonde is meant to be in my class..

Riiiiiing!

I make my way to my locker,

"Hey Presty!"

"Hey Paige" I smile,

"Have you got anything on to night?" She asks,

"Nope, I'm free"

"Do you want to go on a date?" She blushes,

"Sure Cupcake" I kiss her forehead,

I push Lachlan out of my thoughts,

Tonight will be us time, not Lachlan time, Paige time.

"Preston! Let's go!" Paige excitedly yells as I open the door, her bounding out in excitement,

"Hold your horses, the night club isn't gonna go anywhere" I laugh at her,

"Sure, sure!" She giggles,

"Just be quiet, stop moving, and get in" I smile,

"Aye Sir!"

"Oh shut up"

This is going great already..

"What would you like?" The bartender asks,

Her purple ombré hair reflecting the lights of the place,

"I'll have a beer and.. A Yager bomb for the lovely lady" I smile,

"Sure thing" she smiles,

"Here" she hands us our drinks,

We make our way to the dance floor,

"How do you like the date so far?" I smile,

"Great would be and understatement" she giggles,

Then a guy bumps into me,

"Hey wa-"

"Jerome?" I ask,

"Hey!" He smiles,

"What are you doing here?" I ask,

"Oh, my girlfriend works here. By the looks of it you may have already met her" Jerome chuckles as he gives a little wave to the purple ombréd haired girl,

"That's Aimee" he smiles,

"Good for you, now scat this is my date" I chuckle,

"Will do man" he chuckles with me as he pats my shoulder,

"I just love the thrill of the dance floor" Paige smiles at me,

"Me too honey, me too.."

"Preston?"

"Yes?"

"Do you hear that?" She asks,

"Hear what sweet cheeks?"

"It sounds like sirens.." She trails off,

Then screaming erupts and a loud voice could be heard saying;

"Everyone stay where you are!"

I grab Paige's hand as make a break for the back door,

"Great an alleyway!" I panic,

Then I spot something next to some garbage bags,

Hmm..

I quickly grab it,

"Quick!" I yell as I hear shouting come closer.

"Up on the dumpster and jump for the ladder!" I order,

Paige goes first, sticking a good landing,

Me following close behind,

Quickly disappearing over the edge of the next building swing cops coming out the door we just exited from,

"Back door is clear!" He yells before closing the door,

Phew! That was close!

"Let's.. Never do.. That.. Again.." Paige says between breathes,

"Agreed!" I huff,

"Here" I get up and take the guitar off my back,

"I found it" I smile,

"Can you play?" She asks,

"Can you?" I smile as I start strumming,

She also leans in,

"I never will.. After all it was my free pass to sexy street..."
