[Haruka Nanase 8:11pm] well, we got together around half way throughout first year in high school. of course he was the one to ask me, but he says it took him...the whole first half of the school year. we were both really shy around each other for a small bit of time, but then we started to spend time together at my house. where we were alone. we were never used to having people see us as a couple, everyone at school just thought we were best friends, nothing more. we only acted like a couple completely alone. it took us 2 months to hold hands, 3 months to cuddle, and 5 months for him to kiss me. we were just used to being in the closet. then, one day, makoto got a random surge of confidence, around our one year, and said he was going to tell his parents. he started by simplifying bringing up the topic of lgbtq and you know how that went. he was absolutely broken for a little while. that's why he said yes to that training camp, he wanted away from his house for a little while. he wasn't just stressed about the ocean, he was stressed about other things too. a few months after that, we were just cuddling in my room when nagisa decided he wanted to pay a visit. he saw us, and i had no other option but to tell him. makoto got really worked up, and we made nagisa promise not to say anything to anyone, not even rei, who was part of our lives at that point. rin found out because i accidentally sent a text to him instead of makoto and just...that didn't go well either. since then we've been concealing it from you guys with all of our might, but i see you found out anyway. i'm just happy you aren't mad at us for hiding it...

Haru took a deep breath, standing up. Asahi was right, he really did need to talk to Makoto about this. It's been weighing heavily on his mind and Makoto's for a long time now, and they both knew it. They had to do something about it soon. Haru looked at himself in the mirror, taking a deep breath. He knew he could do this. Turning to the door, he grabbed the handle. Haru took one last breath before opening the door, seeing his boyfriend curled on the couch with a worried look on his face.

"Haru..." Makoto called out for him. The ravenette walked over to the couch, Makoto sitting up so Haru could sit next to him. It was silent for a few minutes as both males were thinking of what to say. Haru then felt the courage the speak up.

"Makoto...I had a conversation with Asahi on the phone, and he made me realize something. We really need to talk about this...but can you promise me one thing?" Haru said, looking up at the brunette.

"What is it? What's going on?"

"Just promise you'll listen to me."

"Okay, go ahead."

Haru took a moment to think of what to say. He was terrified. He didn't want to make Makoto upset, he's already a panic attack today. It just needed to be handled with care, and hopefully, Makoto will understand.

"Okay...we've...been together for two and a half years now and only three of our friends know. Our parents don't know. No one knows. It makes sense that our parents don't know yet since they...don't really support that stuff. My question is...why don't our friends know? Rin and Sousuke have been dating for six months and told us after three. Rei and Nagisa have been together for over a year, and Nagisa told us almost instantly. I know we aren't exactly like them but...it's been so long. They will love us and accept us no matter who or what we love, they are our friends. I know you're afraid of people seeing you differently, but know I'll be by your side no matter what happens to you or to me. I'll take care of you. So...would you be okay telling our friends that we're together and have been for years. I can do all the talking if you want. I just want them to see that we really do love each other, and maybe with their help, we'll be able to tell our parents so we can be together forever and have what we've been craving for the past 6 months...so?" Haru heard a small sniffle from Makoto, making him turn to look at his boyfriend.

"H-Haru...I-I..." Makoto kept stuttering, not able to find the words he was looking for. Haru smiled sympathetically, reaching out and grabbing the taller boys hand. He waited in silence for Makoto's answer, hoping and praying he didn't just fuck it up.

"O-Of course we can. I just didn't know y-you felt that way...why didn't y-you tell me sooner??" Makoto whimpered, tears already pooling in his eyes.

"I wanted to protect you." Haru responded simply. Makoto just looked down at him, his mouth slightly open.

"W-Why?"

"Because I love you."

Haru wasn't one to say those words, but he felt in this situation, it was right. Haru felt his face started burning up a little as a small blush set in on his cheeks. Makoto, on the other hand, was just one big mess. Tears were starting to dribble out of his eyes, his face a shade of pleasant pink. His hand was gripping so hard to his boyfriends it probably hurt the ravenette. He was speechless.

"M...Makoto?" Haru asked, looking at the brunette in confusion. As more tears feel down his cheeks, Haru used his free hands to brush away some of the tears on his cheeks.

"I lo-ve you t-too. We c-can tell them." Makoto whispered before letting go of Haru's hand. At first the other was slightly confused, but then the taller threw himself at Haru. Makoto's arms wrapped tightly around his boyfriend, hugging him. Haru was a little shocked at first before wrapping his arms tightly around Makoto, a soft smile on his face.

They stayed like that for a little while, Haru and Makoto shifting a bit so Haru was now cuddled into the tallers lap. His arms were wrapped tightly around the boy in his lap, a soft smile on his face.

"Are you ready?" Makoto asked, looking down at Haru. The raventte peaked his head out from Makoto's shoulder to give his boyfriend a nod.

"How...are we going to do this?" Haru asked, moving to get out of Makoto's lap. Makoto opened his mouth to say something, but then immediately closed it. He was thinking.

"We could either explain with a text or get them back by doing something different...heh." Makoto chuckled, picking up his phone.

"Oh wow it's 9:15 already...we left them hanging..." Makoto whispered, giggling. Haru just smiled, watching the tallers movements. Makoto opened up his phone and opened the camera roll. Smirking, he went through the pictures, clearly searching for a certain one.

"What are you doing? You're smirking, I'm scared..." Haru muttered, looking down at Makoto's phone. Then, he stopped on a certain picture. In it, Makoto and Haru were laying on the couch, the ravenettes head resting on his boyfriend's shoulder. Haru's ocean blue eyes were looking up at Makoto, a soft smile on his face. Makoto, on the other hand, was pressing a kiss to Haru's temple, his arm around the smaller boys shoulder.

"Why?" Haru asked, peering up at Makoto. He let out a small giggle, a devilish smirk on his face.

"How about I accidentally send this picture in the group chat and curse, and see what they react to..." Makoto basically had devil horns on his head, an evil chuckle leaving his lips. Haru just shrugged.
