(3rd person POV)

Mikasa, Eren, Armin, y/n, and Annie all walk through the quiet houses and towns of Stohess District. Mikasa, Eren, Armin, and y/n wearing long green cloaks with Annie as a Military Police guiding them to escape.

"That was easier than I thought it'd be." Eren breaks the silence "Shhh." y/n shushes him.

"That's the Military Police for you. You can see how hard they work every day." Eren sarcastically says as it was obvious no Military Police soldiers were in the area other than Annie. "Stop staring." Mikasa quietly scolds.

"Let's just hope they won't find out that Jean's taking my place. That won't last long, though... We don't look alike at all." Eren whines and y/n rolls her eyes.

"I can see the resemblance." y/n quietly chuckles and Eren's face turned into a huh?! face.

"What?! There's no resemblance at all. I don't have a horse face." Eren snickered quietly and Mikasa tried to shush Eren's whining sounds and y/n's light chuckles.

"Hey, if I hadn't helped you, how did you plan to get over the wall?" Annie breaks everyone's commotion. "I was going to use the Maneuver Gear to get through." Armin answers.

"That's insane. Wouldn't it have been easier to escape before you'd reached Stohess? Why here? Why now?" Annie asks which made everyone's sweat drop.

"I felt the complicated layout of this city would give us a better chance at swapping Eren with Jean. And I thought pretending to go along with it, rather than an outright opposition, would prevent suspicion and buy more time to escape." Armin answers.

"I see. I get it now." Annie replies calmly with her usual resting face.

"There!" Armin runs and so does the rest of them.

They get to the stairs that go underground. The four of them started walking down while Annie stayed at the top staring at them.

Eren then turns around to see Annie still at the top.

"Annie? What's wrong? Don't tell me you're afraid of dark places." Eren slightly joked and slightly didn't.

"Yes, actually. I am. I'm sure a brave suicidal maniac like you would understand how weak girl like me feels." Annie says and y/n bored look turns into a glare.

"A girl who can spin someone in mid-air isn't weak. Stop being an idiot and hurry up." y/m grew annoyed.

"No, I won't go that way. It scares me. If we aren't going above ground, I won't help." Annie says which made all four of them stop in their tracks.

"What are you saying?! Get down here! This isn't the time to be screwing around!" Eren shouts.

"Really isn't, Annie. Eren is about to die. I don't get what's so threatening about this place, so come down here... Now." y/n says coldly.

"For some reason, there hasn't been anyone near by for a while. Wow... I'm hurt. Since when did you start looking at me that way... Armin?" Annie asks.

Y/n notices he is hesitantly holding his flare gun.

"Annie, why? Why did you have Marco's Maneuver Gear? I know you had it, because I made it with him." Armin asks while his breath hitches.

"I see... Well... I happened to find it." Annie answers.

"Then you killed the two Titans the Survey Corps, captured?" Armin says. "Who knows. But if you thought that a month ago, why didn't you act then?" Annie asks.

"Because I still can't believe it! I wanted to believe I was deceived but that only caused for my comrades to die. But what about you... You didn't kill me back then... That's why this is happening now." Armin says with his words shaking.

"Yeah, I think so too. I never thought you were this smart, though. But why didn't I kill you then?" Annie asks herself quietly.

"Hey Annie... There's still a chance you're an idiot who's just going along with this because you have terrible humor. So get down here now! You can prove something by just going underground! Get down here and prove it!" Eren yells.

"I can't... I have failed to become a warrior." Annie responds and y/n's eyes widened because she knew what that meant.

"Warrior...? So you're with the Marley." y/n exclaims and Annie's eyes widened when she looked at y/n who had had dark eyes and a small smirk on her face. Armin, Eren, and Mikasa all look at their friend in confusion.

"I..." Annie trails off but was cut off by y/n once more.

"I've had enough of this back and forth talk... Female Titan." y/n says while drawing her blades with Mikasa joining with her.

And with that, there was a moment of silence until Annie let out a small maniac giggle with blush all over her cheeks.

Annie continues to laugh while Eren and Armin both have disbelief faces and Mikasa and y/n both shoot glares into her soul.

"Armin, I'm glad I could be a good person to you. You've won your bet. But... This is where my bet begins!" Annie says with a crazy smile and goes up to bite her hand.

But Armin shoots a flare signaling men and women to capture her and they hold her on to on every body part and Annie struggles to get away from their grip.

Annie then flips open her ring, revealing a small blade. A ring just like y/n's.

Y/n's eyes widen because she knew exactly what she was doing so she grabbed Mikasa, Armin, and Eren all the way down the stairs. They look up to see red, orange, and yellow explosion shallow the surface and see Annie transform...

...into the Female Titan.
