OU AND EREN LOOK up to see the Colossal Titan staring you down. He swings his arm to swat you and Eren like bugs but you quickly jumped and used your gas to spring you up while Eren latched onto the Titan itself. Eren starts running up his arm and started heading for the nape. You went back up on the wall and gazed at the Colossal Titan. He looks down on you. You then start to realize something. Your eyes goes wide when you figure it out. It all made sense. You were correct. There was still a possibility that you were wrong but it just made since.

"It can't be...." you say. "Bertolt?"

The Titans eyes go wide and then let's out a hot steam once again but this time you jump up using your gas.

Eren is still there!

When the steam clears out the Titan is gone. Disappeared in thin air. You see Eren about to fall but you catch him.

You both then used your gear to hang on the wall.

"Eren! Y/n! Did you guys defeat it?!" Thoma yells from the top.

"No! It was the same as five years ago... He appeared out of nowhere, and vanished just as suddenly!" Eren yelled.

You furrow your eyebrows in anger and let out a tch.

I could've kill it. Now Titans will swarm Trost District. Only a matter of time before the Armored Titan appears.

To this thought, you take out your ring in your pocket and put it on.

And if I can't kill you in human form... I'll take matters in my own hands.

All of the graduating trainees have now been assigned to guard Trost District and Wall Rose with their life.

Many cadets shaking, praying, and crying to the fact that they would have to go into battle because the Elite Garrison forces has been eliminated.

You were completely calm about having to defend Wall Rose, but you were a little worried about actually having to go into your Titan form and take out the Armored Titan if they appear.

You were walking with Mikasa and both of you saw Eren and Jean arguing again at a time like this.

"Unlike you, I don't have a death wish! Since you wanted to join the Survey Corps, I'm sure you're ready to become Titan food anytime! But I was to go to the Interior tomorrow!" Jean yells

"Calm down!" Eren yells back.

Both you and Mikasa start walking towards them.

"I'm supposed to stay calm and die?" Jean yells.

"No! Don't forget those three years of hell we endured! In the past three years, we almost died so many times... Some of us really did die... Some ran, and some were kicked out... But we made it! Didn't we? So we can make it through today! You'll survive today, and go to the Interior, right?" Eren yelled.

What he said was right. You guys spent 3 whole years training for this moment, so why should we be scared?

"Tch." Jean then walked off.

"Eren... When the fighting gets fierce, come find me and y/n." Mikasa says.

You and Mikasa always looked out for Eren. Though Mikasa almost being a sister to Eren, she was way more protective than you. You had faith that Eren can overcome any tribulation so you didn't worry too much.

"Huh? You both are on different teams than me!" Eren says.

"Plans will fall apart in the chaos of battle. But I will protect you." Mikasa vows.

"What are you saying-" Eren then got cut off by someone else.

"Trainee Ackerman and L/n... You both are being specially moved to rearguard. Follow me." the Garrison soldier orders.

"Yes, sir." you say with a salute.

"B-But I'll only slow them down!" Mikasa excused.

You roll your eyes at her not have one ounce of faith into Eren.

"I'm not asking your opinion. The evacuation falling behind. We need as many skilled soldiers overseeing civilians as possible." the Garrison Guard orders.

"B-But-"

"Hey. Enough Mikasa... Don't you freak out, too. Humanity is in danger of being wiped out. What you want doesn't matter. Have faith in Eren for once!" you finally let out all your anger at her.

She only looks at you in sadness knowing that she was disappointed with herself for not believing in Eren. Mikasa then looks towards Eren who also has an angry expression.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking clearly. But I do have one request." she then reaches her hand out to Eren's. "Please... Don't die."

As you were flying through the air with Mikasa and others apart of your team, you see off in the distance a crowd of citizens.

"What are they doing?" you ask Mikasa.

"What?" she says.

"Look. Why aren't they evacuating. They are just waiting there." you point out.

"Sir! Two 15-meter Titans are running towards the crowd!" a Garrison Guard says.

"Go! Distract it so it will ignore the people!"

So you guys go near it but it pays no attention to your group. It was getting closer and closer to the crowd.

"Why is it ignoring us?"

"It's an Aberrant! No point in thinking about it."

"It's fast! We're the best around and we still can't catch up!"

"At this rate..."

The Garrison Guard was cut off by both you and Mikasa flashing in a blink of an eye next to them.

Mikasa latches onto the Titans nape and cuts it while you latch onto the shoulders of the 2nd one and spin around to get momentum and slice the nape making it fall just like the Titan Mikasa killed.

My first kill.

The Titans land infront of the crowd and both you and Mikasa stand heroically on top of the Titans you killed.

"What are you doing?" you ask while looking at the crowd.

"Perfect! You two! Make them help us! We'll pay you well!" the fat man in front of the huge wagon that's blocking the exit of Trost says.

"Right now, my friends are dying. Because the people haven't evacuated, they're dying, fighting the Titans." Mikasa says.

"Of course! It's your job to sacrifice yourselves to protect the people's lives and fortunes. You parasites think you're so special just because you're finally being useful for the first time in a century?!" the fat man yells.

Both you and Mikasa's eyes darken. Everyone can sense you and Mikasa's anger. You both give the fat man a cold glare.

You both drop down from the dead Titans and start making your way through the crowd.

"If you expect someone to die for the sake of another as a matter of course, I'm sure you'll understand this. That sometimes a single, noble sacrifice can save many lives." you say coldly.

Then two men get infront of the fat man as if they were powerful enough to defend him against Titan killing prodigies.

"Try it! I've known your boss for a long time... I can decide your fate with a single word!" he threatens.

Then both of the men start charging at you and Mikasa. Mikasa hits the back of one of their heads with her sword while you extend your arm forward having the tip of your blade to the other man's throat.

You stare at him cold in the eyes and he trembles in fears and slowly fell to his knees. You didn't even lay a scratch on him yet you were terrifying.

Both of them were now on the floor and you both made your way in front of the king.

"How is a corpse going to talk?" Mikasa say while she steps right in front of him with you on her right side.

She raises her sword and extends it out to his face.

"Wait! Pull the wagon back." the fat man orders.

They pull out the wagon and the citizens exit.

As you watch the people leave both you and Mikasa see a little girl and her mother.

"Thank you!" the little girl thanks.

"You saved us. Thank you!" the mother thanks as well.

You both get rid of your glares and put away your blades to get into a salute.

The little girl seemed to be inspired by you and Mikasa's brave actions as her mouth goes into a big smile. And you and Mikasa walk away with a small smile as well.

"Well done, Ackerman and L/n... I'm impressed." the leader of your team compliments.

"Thank you, sir. Even though that act was just me being a decent human being." you say.

"Thank you. However, I was too much of a hurry. I ruined my blades in that one strike. Next time I'll be more careful." Mikasa says.

"What happened to you before all this? No, nevermind." the leader says.

Mikasa then pulls up her mask and looks down in sadness and you take note of this.

After a while you killed many titans. Your kill count was now 6. The bell rang and they closed the gate.

"Pull back Ackerman and L/n. We'll climb the wall." the leader of your team said.

"I'll help the vanguard withdraw." Mikasa says and she flies away with her gear.

"Wait, Ackerman!" the leader says.

"Me too. I have some friends that I wish to see alive." you tell him and you fly away in the direction Mikasa was heading leaving no time for the leader to stop you.

I hope their okay. I hope Eren is okay.
