"An Aberrant? Or is it like the Colossal Titan? Did Commander Erwin..." Eren was now deep in thought. "Hey, snap out of it." I snap my fingers in front of his face.

"Eren, think later. We need to get farther in and stand by!" Petra says "Right!" Eren yells.

We finally got far away from the Female Titan and withdrawed on the giant trees.

"That was his plan from the very start! Right? I can see why he wouldn't have told the new troops. But why wouldn't he tell you when you've all been with the Survey Corps for so long?" Eren questions

"Shut up!" Oluo yells "Are you saying the Commander and the Captain don't trust us?" Petra threw a fit. "But that's what this means..." Eren mutters.

"It's obvious he doesn't trust anybody unless if they have been in the Survey Corps for five years or more. Due to the fact Wall Maria was breached five years ago. The Female Titan is like Eren, so if her main objective was to capture him, someone in the Scout Regiment is a traitor for giving his position information to them, away." I spoke quietly and everyone looked at me stunned.

"I agree. And maybe the weird question from Commander Erwin had to do with it too." Eld agrees with me.

"I am pretty sure I answered his question correctly but since I was a new recruit, he still didn't trust me." I added on.

"What was the correct answer?" Gunther asked.

"I think what he was trying to see if anyone else has the same suspicion as him that there was a traitor. But if you were the one that killed the two experimental Titans, you would have gone along with everyone else's thinking, saying that they were killed and the threat to humanity was Titans." I answer.

And everyone started to think in silence until the weird looking Oluo guys started saying he knew the correct answer to the question all along then Petra started bickering with him but I wasn't really listening to their argument.

"Eren, you don't know it yet but you will soon. The reason that Erwin Smith is entrusted with humanity's hope, the Survey Corps." Eld says. "Just look at how much Captain Levi trusts him!" Petra points out confidently.

"If you live that long..." Oluo says and I roll my eyes.

Then, out of no where, I hear a grueling scream. The Female Titan's scream.

No... She's going to make Titans eat her... They are going to lose her. Should I go and prevent that? Or should I stay with the group to cause no suspicion? I can't have anyone find out about my secret, now that the Female, Armored, and Colossal Titan has made themselves present.

I then look up in the sky to see a dark blue flare, meaning retreat.

"Looks like it's over. Back to the horses! Prepare to retreat!" Gunther orders "You heard the man... Let's go see what the brat inside looks like." Oluo says.

Probably after the scream the Female Titan's successor escaped, so Commander Erwin pulled a retreat. But it is true that the Female Titan successor is still out there, so I need to have extra precaution.

"Will we really find out who it is?" Eren asks. No. I answer in my head. "It's thank to you." Petra says.

"I didn't really do anything." Eren denies. "You had faith in us. This is the result of your choice to trust us back then. Making the right choice isn't easy." Petra points out.

Then Oluo said something which made Petra start bickering with him again.

"I think Mikasa needs to have a little more faith in you sometimes. She is so clingy and over protective." I groan in annoyance. "Right..." Eren agrees quietly.

"Though, I thought expeditions would be more scary and thrilling. Maybe I should drop out of the Special Operations Squad and join the outer flanks." I joke. "Huh?! You won't be saying that when you encounter a Titan!" Eren yells.

"Yeah... So scary..." I tease. "Well, coming back alive on your first excursion is pretty good. But it doesn't count until the mission's over. Listen, kiddo, the expedition lasts until you're at home in bed..." Oluo says trying to impress us.

"Jeez, I know that!" Eren whines. "We totally didn't know, Sherlock." I groan sarcastically. "Sherlock? My name isn't Sherlock!" Oluo says and my eyes widen.

Crap, I used hometown slang again.

We then refilled our canisters and started flying through the air with our 3DMG.

"Oluo! Petra! You guys pissed your pants and cried on your first mission. You're all grown up now! These two did better than you!" Eld laughed.

"Don't say that! What if they stop respecting me?!" Petra yells. "Oh, that's true...?" I look in some concern and surprise.

"It sure is. And I didn't, by the way." Eld joked. "Idiot! I've killed more of them than you! More of them than you, idiot!" Oluo defends.

"Kill count isn't all that makes a soldier, but a man full of pride." I say and Eld and Gunther both started laughing.

"Shut up, new recruit brat! Respect your superiors. Idiot! Idiot!" Oluo yells.

"Petra! Does that mean you sprayed it everywhere while mid-air?" Eren says and I start laughing at the thought until Gunther told us to shut up.

"Shut up! Do you think you're on a picnic? We're outside the walls! I didn't piss my pants either, Eren and Y/n." Gunther reinsures and I chuckle a little bit.

I then glance at Eren who was staring at me but when I made I eye contact, he turned away with a tint of pink on his cheeks.

I look up to see a green flare from which I am guessing, the Captain.

"Oh, I'm sure that's the signal from Captain Levi. We'll rendezvous with the Captain! Cut the chatter till we get back." Gunther orders and shoots a green flare in the air.

As we were flying in silence I look to my left and see Captain Levi. Wait... No that was Captain Levi.

The figure had it's hood on and was much shorter. And I could tell Gunther noticed this too.

"Captain Levi? No, it's not! Who are you?" Gunther yells.

Then the figure went in to try and kill Gunther but I use my blades to block them and kick them mid in the air, but they used the 3DMG to their advantage and once again tried to strike Gunther but also me.

I moved out of the way but Gunther wasn't quick enough so the figure slashed his throat and stomach.

"G-Gunther! What? Why? Gunther!" Eren calls out. "Eren! Get out of here!" I yell at the top of my lungs but Eren swoops down to see Gunther's dead body.

"Eren! You have to leave now! The enemy has now camouflaged themselves as one of our men!" I scream and Eren looks at me in fear and shock.

I look down at my ring and then clenched my fist.

I'll kill you... Female Titan.

Fun fact: while writing this I realized all of the episodes for Season 1 is 24 mins and 7 seconds long or 6 or 10 seconds long.
