"This may be a special night, but... let's not let the public find out! Behave like soldiers without causing a ruckus!"

Sasha and Connie stare at what was in the middle of the table while y/n smiled. They stared at the savory deliciousness; meat.

"Eh? Meat? What is this... meat?" Connie says.

"Am I dreaming?" Sasha asks.

"Tonight's the night before we retake Wall Maria! Cheers-"

The speech was cut off by cheers and roars of the Survey Corps members letting out war cries to eat meet.

Sasha took the whole entire meat while Connie put her in a choke hold while Jean tried taking the meat away from her while y/n was laughing.

"Don't you start pulling that crap, potato girl! What do you think you're doing?!" Jean yelled.

"Sasha got good teeth." y/n yelled.

"Cut it out, Sasha! I... I don't wanna have to kill you!" Connie warned with tears in his eyes.

"You can't eat the whole thing alone!-" Jean yelled but was cut off with Sasha biting his hand once he finally got the meat out of her teeth.

"You're eating me! You're eating me!" Jean yelped.

"Sasha, I didn't know you like to eat horses." y/n bluntly says.

"Shut up!"

"Sasha! That meat is Jean! Have you lost your mind?!" Connie asks.

"Do the Scouts never get fed any meat? Pathetic-" Marlo says but was cut off by a punch from Sasha as she was stuffing her face.

"Connie, would you knock Sasha out already?" y/n asks.

"I'm trying! She should be unconcious, but she's still moving!" Connie said while trying to suffocate Sasha even more.

After awhile Sasha finally got knocked out and Eren, Connie, and y/n tied a rope around her to a pillar for good safety measures.

"That's should do it. She finally ran out of energy. Can you believe this freak? And to think she once offered to share meat with everyone." Connie says.

"Huh? When?" Eren asks.

"Four years ago, when we were servicing the cannons." y/n answered.

All of a sudden, Eren got really quiet and y/n could tell he was deep in thought for a long time.

"Hey." y/n nudged her shoulder.

"Only four months have passed since back then?" Eren asks.

"Only four months." y/n mutters.

"But think, in just four months we're in Squad Levi. We climbed the ranks in a flash." Connie said with a proud smirk while y/n just stared. Soon enough Eren also had a proud smile.

"It's 'cuz you're a genius." Eren patted Connie's bald head.

"Straight right, I am!" Connie said confidently.

"No you're not."

Connie froze, "Yeah I am!"

"Whatever. Let's eat before our food gets cold." y/n says as she walks away.

They all went back to the tables and started eating and Jean and Marlo were talking about the formation. Y/n didn't care for that stuff so she tuned out.

Y/n played with her food.

'This is... really peaceful.' she smiled tiredly to herself. Just as she was about to take a bite out of her food, she nearly chokes.

"YOU'RE SO FULL OF YOURSELF, YOU PIG!" Jean yells.

"YOU TRYING TO GROW OUT THE HAIR ON YOUR MANE, HORSE FACE?!" Eren yells back.

Y/n looks at both of them with a disappointed-but-not-surprised face as she watches them brawl and throw punches and kicks at each other.

They kept throwing insults and punches to each other and the cafeteria was cheering.

"Should we stop them?" Armin asks y/n as she still has the same face on.

"No."

Sooner or later, Captain Levi came in and beat them up and Jean puked.

"Ouch... It's weird when I say it but... Shouldn't you guys watch out for me more?" Eren complained as he limped and Armin helped him walk.

"You're the one who got yourself into that mess." y/n says bluntly and she received a glare from Eren.

"Nice to know I have a very helpful and supportive girlfriend... tsk." Eren sarcastically says.

"I knew if you got hurt it would heal up quick, so I just watched." Armin excused.

The four of them then sat down on steps underneath the moonlight.

"That's so cruel." Eren complained.

"You're the one who incited it." Mikasa says.

"But... at least you're spunky again." y/n says. Eren only stared at her while she was staring off into the sky but soon turned his gaze to the ground.

"I'm glad we met the commandant. I... It doesn't matter... Whether I'm spunky or not, I'll do what I have to do. But yeah... it's easier now. Kept thinking about stuff I can't change. And wondering why I can't be strong like Mikasa and Levi... I was jealous. But even you and the captain... along, you can't do much. Which is why we've all gotta find the things we can do. And by joining together, that's what makes us powerful. Every person is different. And it's all for times like this." Eren says.

"Yeah..." Armin smiles, "I think you're right."

There was a long silence as they all sat there dwelling in each other's presence.

"Once we retake Wall Maria... and defeat all the enemies coming for us... will they come back? Those days..." Mikasa asks.

Y/n knew they were talking about their childhood, so she sat there and listened.

"We'll bring it back. But some things are forever changed. We'll make them pay for that." Eren declared.

"Yeah." Mikasa muttered.

"But there's more than that. The sea..." Armin says which makes y/n perk up and Armin looks at her.

"A salt lake so big that merchants could spend their whole lives and still not get all the salt." Armin says and y/n smiles slightly.

"There's more than just Titans outside the walls..." y/n says.

"Fiery water, lands of ice, sandy snowfields...  I joined the Scouts so I could see all that." Armin says.

"Y-Yeah. You sure did... Hey, y/n... Why did you join the Scouts? Did you want to see the outside would too?" Eren asks and y/n only looks numbly at the floor.

"I don't know why I joined the Scouts... but one things for sure was that it has to do with important stuff I have forgotten." y/n answers with a sorrowful tone as she remembers her memories being wiped.

Then Armin stood up, "Let's start by seeing the sea! You still doubt that it's real, Eren! You'll see! It does exist!" Armin declares.

Eren scoffs, "All right then. Guess we'll have to go see."

"It's a promise, then! You have to!" Armin then went on a rant about how it's real and vowed a declaration that he is right and Eren is wrong.

Y/n only stared at the three friends and couldn't help but smile.

The four stand heroically on top of the Wall as they stare out into Wall Maria.

"It's finally time..." Eren says.

Then people from inside the District of Karanes started cheering and shouting for them to take back Wall Maria.

Then Jean, Sasha, and Connie cheered and shouted back with the same energy making it more reckless.

Then, Erwin being the best Commander ever raised his fist and let out a war cry while the other citizens did too.

Y/n looks at him with awe, 'I swear, Commander Erwin gives me chills sometimes.' Erwin then pointed his blade out, "The final operation to retake Wall Maria... will now commence!"

They all dropped down and we're now in Wall Maria in the formation behind Erwin, "ADVANCE!"

"Samuel. I will always love you... Even if I do marry King Fritz..."

"Meet me here at the forest whenever you can. I will be waiting for you."

Y/n grunts as she hears those words in her head again. 'What is that?' she ask herself.

There was no time, she had to retake Wall Maria and find out the truth and maybe... just maybe... she can regain her memories.
