HANGE AND EVERYONE else all stood around each other after Falco and Y/N are now resting while they were on the boat. Annie decided that she was just going to stay back on the boat and not fight. But now they have new matters to discuss about why in the world Carla could strike thunder.

"It's the Belair bloodline." Hange said.

"What?" Pieck asked.

"Y/N told me when the rumbling took place she saw a memory of the first Thunder Titan, Samuel Belair. Apparently anybody who has the Thunder Titan has Samuel's bloodline in them. Samuel's bloodline, the Belair's, have the ability to strike thunder from their palms. Since Y/N inherited the Thunder Titan and birthed Carla alongside Eren, she is someone extremely important. Someone as important as Ymir the Founder." Hange said.

"What?" Jean asked.

"Yes, I remember." Armin spoke up. "At the table, Eren said that Y/N only loved him because the Samuel inside of her was controlling her to believe Eren was Ymir only because he had the Founder. He said that 2000 years ago, Ymir and Samuel used to be lovers. I can only wonder what happens when someone with the Founding Titan and the Thunder Titan have a child."

"Yes, Y/N told me that she was the 'Founder of the Belair's'. But I don't really understand. Do you know, Armin?" Hange asked.

Armin then thought of a possible explanation and rubbed his chin. "Yeah... I think I know." Armin said with wide eyes. "Just like how Ymir the Founder can control all Eldians and Titans, Carla can control anyone with the Belair bloodline."

"Huh...? Like she can control anyone that is a Belair like the Founder can control anyone who is an Eldian?" Connie asked.

"Yes!" Armin said. "Maybe that's why... Eren wanted Carla to be born. Maybe he thought that Carla could be on his side or something?"

"He did want me to retrieve Carla." Marlene's voice cut through. "He told me to take her from her cottage. He told me he wanted that so that the volunteers don't use Carla as a hostage or a blackmail but I think that wasn't the only reason."

"We'll talk more about Carla later. Right now we need to protect Carla as much as we can." Hange ordered and everyone scattered.

What they didn't know was that Carla was listening to the whole conversation from the other side of the wall.

"What? You think Samuel is controlling Y/N?" Zeke asked Eren as he threw the baseball up and down. "If I'm going to be totally honest, I don't know if I believe you... I think she stays with you because she loves you."

"How will you respond?" Eren asked.

"Hm? What are you saying?" Zeke asked.

"I've got four more years left and she has five. What would you think... about me having a child?" Eren asked. "Their lives will continue even after I die... I want them to... I want her to live long and happy life."

Zeke stared at his emotionless brother. "Her? You really want a daughter? Sheesh. Don't get ahead of yourself, Eren. Besides why are you asking me? It's your choice." Zeke said.

"Not exactly. More like I have no choice." Eren said.

"I don't get this nonsense your babbling about." Zeke said.

"My bad. Sorry."

Eren then looks out at the street to see a man and a little girl walking hand and hand into the streets of the internment zone.

'Dear Carla... dad loves you very much.'

Eren walks the streets of Marley seeing everyone there living happy and joyful lives.

'I'm going to kill them all.' he thought to himself.

He saw a child eating ice cream.

'All their lives.'

'Their dreams.'

'Their happiness.'

'But its okay.'

'Its worth it.'

Eren then walks past a man and a women. The women is pregnant and Eren saw his mother.

'What would mom think?'

Then he thought of a H/C haired girl.

'What would she think?'

Eren then stopped in his tracks as he looked up at a shop sign.

"Jewelry." it said.

Eren then thought about that day in the carriage when he asked if Y/N would gladly be his wife.

'Maybe if she says yes when I propose to her tonight at that immigration camp I won't start the rumbling.' he thought. 'Yeah... I'll ask her if she wants to be selfish with me then I'll propose. We're young but... I love her.'

Eren stepped in and looked around. A girl then came to the front desk. "Hello! Welcome to Jewelry, how may I help you?" she asked with a welcoming smile.

Eren looked down at her name tag. After the volunteers came to Marley he was able to learn some Marleyan writing.

"Nessa" was her name.

"Hello. I want an engagement ring." Eren said confidently.

Nessa then walked over to a section of the store. "Follow me." and Eren complied.

He was met with an amazing set of beautiful rings all with diamonds and special jewels.

"So, who's the lucky lady?" Nessa asked.

"Uh... Her name is Y/N. A beautiful, beautiful woman..." he said as he was getting distracted by looking down at the rings. He saw one that caught his eye. "I want that one, please." he said as he pointed to the ring.

Nessa gladly opened the glass case and picked out the ring. "This is five hundred coins. A hundred more with the box." Nessa said.

Eren looked down and saw he only had five hundred coins and frowned. "I'll just take the ring." he said as he placed the pouch of coins on the table.

"Great! Have a nice day! Good luck! I hope she says yes!" Nessa said as Eren took the ring and walked out. He then put the ring in his pocket and walked away.

"Y/N... Y/N... Wake up. We're at dock." Mikasa said as she nudged Y/N.

Y/N groaned as she rubbed the tiredness off her eyes and stretched. She followed Mikasa off of the boat where Onyankopon, Armin, Connie, Jean, Reiner, Marlene, and an Azumabito engineer were pulling the boat up in the dock.

"Y/N." Hange said and Y/N looked towards where Hange is. "We've decided that Carla needs to stay behind on the boat. You're right. She is important and that's why we need to have her safety. For now, you need to rest. You need as much energy as possible."

"I understand." Y/N said and Hange walked away.

Y/N then walked towards Annie who was sitting down at an edge.

"Sup." Y/N greeted.

"Yo."

"I heard what you said earlier...a mental disorder?" Y/N asked.

"It's a hunch but back in Marley my father used to take me to a bakery. The owner would always have sudden mood swings like yours and when they got it checked out by a doctor, a new mental disorder case was discovered; bipolar disorder." Annie said.

"You think I'm bipolar?" Y/N asked.

"Like I said, its a hunch. Or you can just be crazy." Annie said.

"What causes a bipolar disorder?" Y/N asked.

"Relatives or going through too much traumatic events." Annie answered and Y/N didn't continue the conversation.

Mikasa then walked up to Annie and Y/N. "Annie, you should try to get used to vertical maneuvering. Go swing around trees somewhere." Mikasa said.

"Why...? I already told you I'm not going to help. I'm not going on the flying boat." Annie said.

"You don't want to help?" Y/N asked.

"The rumbling has already reached Marley meaning my father is dead. I have no other purpose so please let me live out my last few years in peace." Annie said as she stared out at someone.

Mikasa and Y/N look at who Annie was blushing at and understood.

"When'd this start?" Mikasa asked.

"What?" Annie said.

"No... nevermind." Mikasa said.

"Just so you know, Armin is going on the flying boat." Y/N said.

"I know... Are you going to kill Eren, Y/N?" Annie asked.

Y/N didn't respond as she put her knees up to her chest and hugged them, burying her face into her knees.

"Eren's somewhere far away from us. We'll bring him back." Mikasa said as she walked away.

"WE'LL BE PREPARING FOR TAKE OFF IN AN HOUR!"

"GOT IT!" Hange yelled.

Everyone was now geared up, even Levi was going to fight.

"You heard them. Everyone start inspecting your equipment." Hange ordered.

"Roger."

Annie then started walking back to the boat as everyone waved. Marlene then started walking towards them.

"Marlene?" Y/N questioned.

"What?" Marlene asked.

"You're fighting too? You should go to the boat." Y/N said.

"I'm good. I told you I don't want the rumbling to succeed." Marlene said.

"Honestly I was kinda counting on Annie but I guess she can rest." Connie said.

"Are you all prepared for this? Even after we stop it are you prepared for how Eldians will be treated?" Hange asked.

"Hate to say it but yes. General Magath left this to us." Pieck said.

"In that case I'll gladly ride on the Cart Titans back and feel the heat of it's body as we-"

"Stop." Pieck cut off Hange. "Why are you being so creepy all of a sudden?" Pieck asked.

All of a sudden, gunshots could be heard.

"Marlene!" Onyankopon called out.

Mikasa then used her ODM gear to kill Floch OFFICIALLY as blood pooled out. Hange and the others rushed over to his body.

"Did he really cling onto the boat all the way here...?" Hange asked.

"He shot holes in the fuel tank!" Onyankopon yelled.

Y/N gets up from Floch's side and goes to walk over to Onyankopon until she hears coughing sounds.

She looks down beside her to see Marlene with two bullet wounds in her chest. Y/N eyes widen at the sight.

"Marlene!" Y/N cried out as she quickly tore a piece of her shirt to apply pressure to stop the bleeding.

"We can still work it! We just need to set up a weld! Anyone free check the engines!" an Azumabito engineer said.

"How long will it take?!" Hange asked.

"If we use a tin, then an hour..." he said.

"Marlene! Stay with us! Someone help!" Y/N yelled and Connie went by her side and helped apply pressure.

Suddenly the ground started shaking. The rumbling was already here.

"Y...You have... to go." Marlene said weakly.

"The rumbling is here!" Reiner yelled.

"Hey, Y/N..." Marlene said and raised a hand and Y/N grabbed it. "Thank you...for making me believe that a little girl like me has power... Now go or I'll never forgive myself."

Y/N stared at her with frightened eyes and gritted teeth as tears spilt out. "I'm sorry!" Y/N said as her and Connie stood up leaving Marlene smiling there on the ground being ever so close to death.

Y/N and Connie go up to Mikasa, Armin, and the others as they watched the rumbling from afar.

"Armin... is there anything we can do?" Mikasa asked.

"I'll stay behind and slow them down..." Armin said.

"No you're not! You're the only chance we have at defeating Eren. I'll do it!" Reiner said with full confidence.

"We cannot get rid of the power of the Titans." Hange said walking up to them. "I led us all to this point. I kept moving forward even if it meant killing many of our comrades. It's time I take responsibility for that. Armin Arlert. I hereby appoint you 15th Commander of the Survey Corp's. There is no one else more suited for this role than you. And that's that. See you guys later." Hange said casually. "Oh right. And Levi's your subordinate now so work him to the bone, will ya?"

Everyone was just quiet with a frightened expression as Hange was so casual about dying.

Everyone wanted to stop them but at the same time they knew they couldn't.

As Hange walked Levi stopped them.

"Hey... four eyes..." he said.

"You understand it's my time, right? I want to look at cool as possible before I go." Hange said.

Levi then raised a fist and put it to Hange's chest. "Devote your heart..." Levi said mimicking Erwin's words. And just like that Hange flew up in the sky using their thunder spears to kill as many Colossal Titans as possible.

Everyone watched as Colossal Titans fell down all from the cause of a tiny figure.

Hange may have been small compared to the Titans but they were definitely a huge threat.

Y/N couldn't help but let a tear roll down her face. She was loosing everyone. Everything. Her purpose to live. And her purpose to die.

At this point, the boat has started and they have already started reeling out the flying boat. Everyone then got into the flying boat took off.

Y/N looks out the window as she sees the building getting crushed. Marlene was still in there but she was going to die either way. Hange was most likely dead at that point too.

"We're taking off!" Onyankopon said.

Y/N then sits down next to Levi in which she hears him mutter, "See you later, Hange..."

Everyone else sat down in the flying boat still processing and mourning the deaths.

"Let's discuss our plan." Armin said breaking the silence and went to the ground to draw Eren's Founding Titan form. "Where do you all think Eren is?" Armin asked.

"Normally it would be in the nape but we're not sure after what the War Hammer did." Pieck said.

"So we don't know..." Armin muttered.

"Or we can blow the whole thing up like you did in the port." Pieck suggested.

"True. That's the most effective way. But we have failed to get dialogue with Eren so I guess that's the only way to stop him." Armin said.

"Eren's using the Founding Titan through Zeke, right? Can't we just stop the rumbling to kill Zeke?" Levi asked.

"You know... you could be right." Armin said.

"That's what Hange predicted but we don't know Zeke's location either but I'll find him. Then...I'll kill him." Levi declared.

"In order to stop this rumbling I'll do whatever it takes..." Jean declared.

"Same here..." Connie said.

"Eren is able to affect the action of every Titan and Eldian but we're still able to use the power of the Titans any way we could..." Armin commented.

"Are you saying that Eren is choosing to not interfere with us?" Pieck asked.

"Yes. He's letting us acted freely. Maybe he's testing us to see what we'll do." Armin said.

"Why? Even though we might stop the rumbling?" Y/N asked.

"It's the same for him... It must be painful killing many people..." Reiner said.

All of a sudden, everyone in the flying boat except for Onyankopon went to the paths. Everyone stares in disbelief at what was even happening.

"Not again..." Jean said.

"What... he hear us or something?" Levi asked.

"EREN! PLEASE LISTEN TO US! You've done enough damage that I'm sure the world would not want to mess with us again! You gave us freedom just please stop the rumbling!" Armin yelled.

"Eren! We'll figure out the rest from here so you can rest and stop all this slaughtering!" Jean yelled.

"Yeah! Eren, I hated you for what you did to Sasha but you must've been sad too!" Connie yelled.

"Please, Eren, come back to us!" Mikasa yelled.

"No..." Y/N's serious voice cut through. "Eren, I'm sorry. I know your hurting inside. We can figure out the world problems. Just please stop this. I miss you. Carla misses you. Just please come home!" Y/N yelled with tears threatening to come out her eyes.

"Y/N... who's that?" Connie asked as he looked behind her and so was everyone else.

Y/N stares confusingly behind her until she saw him. A child with dirty blonde hair and brown eyes crying in front of her. She knows who that boy is. It's Samuel Belair. Samuel then went up to her and hugged her.

"I know what it feels like to lose everything and not feel loved." Samuel said telepathically.

Samuel then walked away towards the beaming light where everyone saw kid Eren and the Founder Ymir.

"The rumbling will not stop. I won't let fate decide Paradis's future. I will keep moving forward." Eren's voice echoed.

"Hey." Levi pointed and everyone saw kid Eren with Samuel and Founder Ymir on both his sides.

Immediately everyone started running towards them except for Pieck, Reiner, and Levi.

"Eren!"

"Eren just talk to us!" Armin yelled.

"In order to gain my freedom I will take freedom away from the world. But I won't take anything from you. You are free. You have the freedom to defend the world's freedom or mine. I have the freedom to continue moving forward. So as long as we both have our unbreakable conviction we will collide. There's only one thing for us to do....

...fight"

"Why did you call us here then?" Armin asked.

"So I could speak to you and tell you there's no need for us to speak. If you want to stop me then you can try. You are all free."
