Ep 7: Working out in Nature!
Free eventually returned carrying a medium sized fish on his wooden stake. As he had been walking back the clouds had gotten worse, before they had been a light leaden color but now they were a dark gray. Based on how thunder roared in response to his thoughts Free had a bad feeling about the storm.
Setting down his dinner he began making a fire. Moving the sticks he had found from the forest he began stacking them upon each other.
When he was done the campfire reminded Free of a log cabin. Taking the fish he started twirling it around and around making sure to cook each side perfectly.
Free's mind started to wonder thinking but then something moved out of the corner of his eye. A small jack rabbit sat there snacking on some grass nearby. It's ears twitched and it looked up at Free in response.
The rabbit gave Free a monotone expression while it's nose twitched. Free returned a monotone expression back at the animal. After finishing up the grass the rabbit hopped away.
Free gave out a small little smile. Being out here was relaxing and nice. Sure it was a little hot from the rocks but the storm clouds balanced it out. Making temperature a bit cooler from the regular searing heat.
Holding out his hand away from the fire Free felt a single drop of water hit his hand. Then again and again. Rain drenched the land making the rocks turn darker color from their normal brown. Normally the desert was beautiful at this time of year but instead the clouds cast a dark dreary feeling.
One of the good things about the storm was that it put out the for fire and it cooled the temperature down. Gathering his bag he moved into his little cave. Using it as a pillow, Free laid on his side watching the rain pour. Normally it didn't rain in Spain this time of year but it was nice.
Free rolled onto his side facing away from the storm. His mind wandered thinking until sleep eventually found him and consumed his mind.

The tweeting of a bird nearby was annoying Free but at the same time it was his alarm in a way. Getting up he almost hit his head on the roof of his cave. Outside was partly cloudy, it was a little damp in some areas and in others it was just muddy.
Setting down his bag on the roof of his makeshift cave Free began stretching. Then digging a rope out of his pack he began training.
Free started with climbing as a warm up. As he carefully chose his next rock his mind wandered about: The Raging Bulls. Back when Free had joined he remembered that in America they had a small rock climbing wall. Free never used it though but he did remember it.
But unlike that tiny little wall this was next level. Instead of the basic plastic rocks these were real and they were each unique with their own shape.
After working up a sweat Free felt warmed up to start training. After finding a long flat plain he began moving rocks back and forth. Veins began to pop out from his arms and sweat dropped onto the ground.
Normal bladers would have given up at this point but Frees determination kept him going. Most kids Frees age were into video games or maybe even Blading as a hobby.
But none had the metabolism like he had. It was almost like Free was possessed. The way his eyes glowed gold and his heavy breathing would've probably scared anyone who didn't know about Beyblade away.
But Free was loving every minute, despite the pain and tiredness he felt alive and free to be himself.
Free yelled out in pain and the noise echoed off the rocks. He strained and growled like an animal. Kris's words echoed in his head as he pulled with all his might.
He shuts out all his friends when he practices. It's his focus that allows him to win...
Free let out another yell, the rope hit the ground and he bent over heavily breathing. His veins disappeared and the sweat lessened a little. He looked to his side looking at some rope and one of the boulders he had been moving earlier. He then had an idea.
Instead of doing his normal routine he decided to try something different. Double tying the rope around his body he hoisted a boulder behind him. It wasn't as heavy as the one he was lifting earlier but it was heavy enough.
Looking up at the mountain he carried the boulder like a backpack. The weight of the boulder made each step harder than the last. But luckily Free didn't have to worry about getting a good grip on the large rock.
At one point his legs gave out and his knees hurt. But he didn't give up instead he pushed himself off the ground and he kept going up the mountain. Some days Free did feel like he was carrying a weight around. But today felt different instead he felt free from the weight.
When he reached the top he set the boulder down and he fell onto the hard rocky ground. Slipping off his shoes Free shook out all the dirt and rocks out of them. The only sound in the air at the moment was Free's breathing. The air was a little bit thicker up there but it was still peaceful as it had been from down below.
Free eventually got up and looked at the boulder. He narrowed his eyes and gritted his teeth. He got underneath the boulder and he lifted it up into the air. Holding it high above himself he hurled it into the air. The boulder crashed on the side of the mountain and it's pieces fell to the ground.
Free sat there for a while watching the sunrise. It's golden colors flooded the skyline sending out a joyful feeling throughout the air.

Free eventually walked back to his camp and started running instead as his next exercise. As he ran he had a determined look in his eyes but his breathing was more controlled. He made sure to pace himself as he ran back and forth from wall to wall. He eventually got bored of running and decided to rest and have lunch back at his camp. Free pulled out a sandwich Ange had made him before he left.
He took a bit and began chewing silently to himself. It was once again quiet but Free could hear something out in the distance, it almost sounded like talking. He could barely make out words but as they neared him he could hear words like "beautiful canyon." Or "the tallest one in.."
Ignoring the talking Free went back to eating. Once he was done he took out his water out of his bag and poured it onto his head and face. The water felt nice and cooling but the feeling didn't last for long. For out in the distance he could've sworn he heard screaming...
A/N: sorry it's been a while I've been kinda busy with golf lately. I've basically been playing 5 or 6 days a week so it's been kinda hectic. Hope you guys enjoyed the chapter!
