Before Free knew it things started picking up pace. Toko or "Valt" entered the national tournament along with Shu. After making his rocky appearance Valt started battling people, like this kid with puppets, or another kid who had a dark edge to him. But the kid who was playing Diago closely resembled him and not just from his costume.

"Hey it's Ryota!" Said Valt pointing. Everyone but Lui and Free knew what Valt was talking about. But based on listening to their conversation Free assumed it was his little brother.

As the national Tournament continued "Valt" kept making more and more friends until they formed the Begioma Academy Bey Club.

But they didn't have enough members. The principal was fine with it anyways. Another one of the bladers stepped onstage. She had long blond hair in a side ponytail and she was wearing purple attire.

Just then as she was about to say her lines. A boy in the crowd stood up, Free guessed that it was probably Wakiya himself.

"Are you kidding me! You let a girl play my part, how dare you people!" He yelled.

All around him the audience began laughing thinking it was somehow part of the show. Wakiya slowly sat back down grumbling to himself.

After Wakiya's little outrage "Valt" began learning some new training and launching techniques. As he learned he is very energetic and crazy causing his friends to calm him down a lot . Free smiled remembering what Valt was like when he first came to BC Sol.

"I don't remember being that crazy!" Valt said.

"I dunno, I think they were pretty spot on." Rantaro commented.

After the tournament since "Shu" hurt his shoulder the team ventured their way to Xander's dojo. It was kind of ironic for Free considering how he was just there training.

In order to get through team battles faster they decided to do a dance number to create a time skip. It was a cute little dance and before they knew it they moved onto Zac the Sunrise.

Apparently the same girl who played Wakiya also played Zac too. But she did an excellent job at making herself known.

Team battles started along with another dance number. Then things got tense.

"Valt" started practicing his sprint boost with his eyes closed. I swear Toko must have practiced this move at least a hundred times because somehow he managed to get it right perfectly. The whole time Toko managed to keep his eyes closed and beat "Wakiya".

The whole time Free watched intrigued, in order to pull off a move like that Free knew you had to combine confidence, timing, routine into one. Which wasn't an easy thing to do especially when your eyes are closed.

Free made a mental note to try something like this in the future.

After a long day of training and practicing the sprint boost over and over "Valt" eventually got tired and his sprint boost got sloppy. Causing him to fall over or into the stadium.

The next day was the day. "Valt vs Lui."
Going onstage was Suoh Genji playing "Lui". It was a little surprising seeing him up there considering how lone wolf he was. Suoh didn't need to pretend he was terrifying because overall he gave off a dark and bone chilling appearance. Toko actually looked like he was a little afraid.

After throwing out some insults the battle began. The whole time Suoh wore a mischievous smile. Valtryek bounced off the stadium like a pinball machine. Slamming into Luinor they were both sent flying into the air. To "Valt's" surprise it burst.

Despite being burst Toko still somehow managed to keep a smile on his face. Nodding his head he was ready for round 2.

Then Suoh started laughing and everyone quieted down.

"I'm going to crush you and your bey into paste." Suoh growled.

I don't think they're acting anymore.

Once the beys went into the stadium that's when everything changed. Toko wasn't smiling anymore and neither was Suoh. They were so caught up in their battle they forgot about their lines.

When they collided it was like a tornado of destruction. Wind, Energy, and Electricity filled the air. Then rising out of the cloud of destruction were two beys. Then Luinor burst.
Suoh was outraged, but that only made Toko smile even more.

The third battle began the same way the second one did too. Flying around the stadium both the beys were about to collide again when Valtryek Burst. Toko was surprised and so was everyone else.

Free was disappointed, he was disappointed it had to end this way. Toko has him on the edge of his seat but this just proved he still had more of his journey to go.

After a short intermission the play was back on. Free got a little lost coming back so Shu filled him in on what he missed.

"So you missed "Valt" going to Spain, Tryouts, The Sunbat United battles, and that's it."

Apparently Nika also played Kris too and did an excellent job.

While watching all the drama between members about Valt and Rantaro. Free realized all the drama he was missing out on. He normally didn't get involved or care about it but it was nice to have a basic idea on what was going on.

But when "Diago" and "Wakiya" had a comeback that's when things started getting interesting. "Wakiya" told them "Shu" was missing and that they needed to find them. Going through the forest they found lots of animals and booby traps.

When facing Fubuki he did a good job playing Red Eye. Even Free thought he sounded a bit like him in his own way.

"Only the strong can remain here." Fubuki said ice coldly to Toko.

The whole time Free was intrigued by this part of the play.

The Snake Pit...

Free had only heard rumors or legends of the place. Something about bladers becoming legends but never returning or something like that.

Through the mini snake pit saga Free was content with his thoughts thinking about the Snake Pit. Then just as they were entering the facility Free noticed the seat next to him was empty.

Shu has left without anyone else noticing.
