Liam ran as fast as his tiny legs could carry him. He knew it was stupid to run off especially in the Dread Tower of all places but it was the Shu Kurenai! Liam was so excited he didn't even give the action much thought. Little did Free know but Shu was one of his favorite bladers along with Valt, Free, Cuza, Sasha, Silas, etc.

Official posters imported from Spain covered his room with different bladers. But his favorite was of Shu, Shu was in his top 3. Free, Shu, and Valt. To Liam he related the most with Valt, but with Free and Shu he looked up to both of them. Despite Shu's Red Eye incident. Liam had always wanted to be a world class blader along with the legends. He had even wanted to try out for the Bulls. But living on the other side of the country did not help. Especially when being on vacation in New York.

But being excited to meet Shu quickly ended. For Liam had suddenly realized he was lost. Wandering through the halls he felt like he was being watched.

Then he came across a room that felt very disturbing. Disembodied hands held up torches of fire and beside each one was a knight wearing armor holding a shield.

The room was both terrifying and yet so cool at the same time. The knights were all the same with their dark purple color and Hades symbol on them. When Liam got to the last suit of armor it had a purple symbol on it. That must be Hyde's he thought.

As he kept walking the fire started dimming and they started going out one by one. This had sent Liam running, he needed the light and warmth. Without it he'd be lost in the darkness.

He then found another room, it was full of tapestries hanging on the walls. Most of them were of kings from previous times. But one caught his eye, it was a red tapestry contrasting from the cool colored ones.

There was a large Phoenix ruling in the skies. It was flying in front of the sun making it more powerful and beautiful at the same time. Almost like it was drawing power from the light.

But unlike the beautiful bird above, below the town was in ruins. People were screaming, running around, and buildings were on fire. Before Liam could investigate further he was startled by the sound of a voice.

"Well, well, well looks like I caught a little stowaway."

Hyde emerged from the shadows crossing his arms.

Two of the knights nearby came to life and scared Liam. He tried to run off but the knights grabbed him and made him face Hyde.

"You might as well hang out, that is until Free De La Hoya finds you. Huh ha!"

Free sprinted around the dread tower as fast as he could yelling out Liam's name in various hallways. As he ran he could've sworn he heard something. He slowed down and listened. He stood there closing his eyes focusing. Beys. He opened his eyes and kept walking.

Free was in the organ room. It was a grand room with a skylight shining down. Above Free it began to rain and thunder. Lighting crackled, casting a long shadow of Free behind him.

Overall the room was beautiful with a ominous feeling at the same time. In the back of the room a big organ stood in the back. Beside it were two fire torches that were out. On the walls were knights, but unlike the last knight room these were different. Each knight had a different color as if they had been used by a different person. Some shields symbols were animals like Dragons, Birds, Horses, and other mythological creatures.

Free's favorite was a knight with golden armor. He didn't really like the symbol but the armor was pretty cool. The knight held a shield in one hand and a long lance in the other. The way the knight was positioned looked like it wanted to strike at any moment. Then just as Free was about to keep walking he accidentally bumped into the armor and a secret tunnel opened up.

Free decided to investigate, as he walked down he wasn't really scared but he was scared of what'll happen to Liam. Eventually Free saw a light and began running towards it. When he reached the end he found himself inside of a beautiful greenhouse garden.

It was beautifully done unlike the other ominous parts of the Dread Tower. The ceilings were high and above Free could see the storm. Various plants imported from around the world were inside the walls. Free recognized some of the plants since they were from Spain. It was a big but beautiful little garden. Free wished he had something like this back in Spain. When this Dread Tower Stakeout is over I'm going to go back and talk with Kris about this boy.

Free walked along a stone pathway, his footsteps echoed inside the greenhouse. Despite the beautiful garden Free felt like this was a cover up or an illusion. When Free made it to the other side of the garden there were less plants and more grass. In the grassy patch Free could hear a stream of water nearby.

This is for meditating.. but for who?

"Huh Ha! Free De La Hoya, what a nice surprise. I'd figure I would find you here."

Free turned around to face Hyde with his hands on his hips.

"Give me Liam." Free asked, sounding very serious and monotone at the same time.

"Well you see that wouldn't be fun now would it? If I just easily gave you the boy back and sent you too on your way. You see you're trespassing here in the Dread Tower and what's worse is that you're in a restricted area too."

Ahh so this must be Hyde's sanctuary..

"In order to get your friend back you must earn him back by paying for your consequences." Hyde turned around and began walking in the opposite direction.

Reluctantly Free followed walking beside Hyde. They were both quiet as Hyde lead Free to what he thought would be his doom.
