Makotos POV

I see her ALL the time. I try to go up and talk to her, but I always chicken out. But today's the day.

As soon as the last bell rings I quickly pack up my things and stride my way over to the library. It's 3 o'clock and she gets off at 3:30 so I'll be able to get there in time again today.

I hurriedly passed the mass of people in the hallways, almost running into a few of them. All I could think about was seeing her elysian hair and radiant (e/c) eyes.

Her smile brought joy and light into the world.

She was kind and somewhat shy. Always putting others before herself no matter what the consequences were.  Just thinking about her brought a wide grin on my face.

Before I knew it I was standing right in front of the library doors. My hands got clammy and they started to shake as I brought one up to open the door.

I took a deep breath, and set a calm look upon my features as I pulled out the courage to walk in.

The smell of air freshener and slight dust made its way through my nostrils as I looked around for an open table.

You see here, I had a plan.

I had a book that was relatively boring so I was going to return it.

Step 1: return the book.

Step 2: She will look at me and smile.

Step 3: I will smile back

Step 4: I get a new book and check it out.

Step 5: I TALK TO HER.

Yup. Perfect plan Makoto. You're so smart.

I got up to return my book and my heart started pounding. I wanted to turn around and run away but there was no going back now. She saw me coming and waited until I got to the desk to talk.

Once I was up there my face got red and my hands started to shake once again as I handed her the book. 

"Hello" she said with a small smile.

PLAN FAILED WE WERENT SUPPOSED TO TALK YET.

RETREAT

RETREAT.

WHAT DO I SAY NOW.

OH GOD THIS WASNT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.

OH NO SHES WAITING FOR ME TO SAY SOMETHING.

"H-hello" I stuttered out.

She giggled and swiftly scanned the book with the machine. 

Before she could even say anything else I stiffly walked over to a book shelf and hid behind it. My breathing was slightly ragged and I was so nervous I couldn't even think right.

Calm down Makoto it was just a 'hello'.

I stood there for about 2 minutes calming myself down until I went to look for another book.

I finally found one and made my way back over to her. I was still nervous, but my confidence levels went up a little bit.

I stood in front of her and gave a smile.

"Hi again" I said feeling scared at what she would think since I ran away earlier. To my surprise she gave me an even bigger smile.

"Hi there" she said with her soft voice.

I waited as she checked the book out and brought up the courage to say "How do you like working here?" Great I sound dumb now.

"I actually like it a lot. It's  quiet most of the time, and not too many people come here honestly. It's nice" she said looking at me with a smile.

"T-that's great" I stuttered out once again.

She laughed again " yea it is"

She handed me back the book and said " I hope you have a nice day"

"Y-yea you too" I said and hurriedly left the library.

Well that went just great.

The next few weeks I went to the library everyday just to get to see her. I kept making dumb excuses to talk to her. I even put a note in a book for her to find. I was starting to get impatient with not being able to confidently talk to her. So finally one day, I grew the balls to ask her out on a date.

I had a single (flower) in my hand and a note in my back pocket with my phone number on it.

I stood in front of the library doors making sure I didn't look like a complete mess.

I finally decided to walk in and there she was.

She was sitting at one of the tables reading a book actually. Someone else was working the check out desk.

Her (h/c) hair slipped out in front of her face while she flipped the page.

She took her (s/t) hand and gently put it back behind her ear.

I took a deep breath to relax my nerves and started making my way towards her. As I was walking, the sun peeked through the windows making her hair shine and her skin glow.

Gooooooood she's so gorgeous.

I stood at the table and decided to take a seat next to her. She slowly lifted her head up and gave me a wide grin.

"Hello" she said

"Hello" I said back with no hesitation.

I gently handed her the flowers along with the note. I wasn't nervous for some reason this time. I was actually fairly confident.

A small blush formed on her face as she opened the note. Soon she was grinning from ear to ear while admiring the flowers.

"Thank you.." she said quietly.

A cold sweat formed on my forehead as I knew I needed to ask her now. So I hurriedly calmed myself down and asked her.

"Would you like to go on a date with me this Saturday?" I said with a smile.

Her face turned even redder as she smiled once again.

"Of course"

And that's how I met her in the library..

I have not updated in like 10 fucking years guys. And I keep saying that I am but I dont'!!! I can't apologize enough for doing this! But hopefully since it is summer I'll have more free time to do it. But anwaysssss i hope you guys have a wonderful and always remember! Bye and stay beautiful
