Description:

Beauty isn't always what it seems. After all, the deadliest creatures are also the most beautiful.

IvyClan seems perfect. It's the definition of utopia to everyone who visits, with a kindly leader that treats all with expect and where everyone is treated equally.

But Hawkflame has a feeling something darker is lurking below the surface.

Perhaps it's the haunted look he glimpsed in a she-cat's eyes, or the anxious looks of all the others send at the leader, Ferretstar, when he walks into camp. Maybe it is Ravenlight's stutters when reciting the herbs that prevented infections, or the overabundance of said herbs sitting in the corner of the den.

But whatever it is, Hawkflame is determined to discover what poisonous flower the ivy is hiding from view.

Characters:

Hawkflame: PebbleClan medicine cat. A bit too curious for his own good. Strong sense of justice. Panics under pressure and can't lie. Asexual. Male. Appearance up to you.
Beestar: PebbleClan leader. Suspicious of IvyClan but doesn't want to interfere without proof. Can be swayed easily by a crowd. Sexuality, appearance and gender up to you.
Ravenlight: IvyClan medicine cat. Jumpy, fidgety. Good with herbs but always second-guesses themselves. Is forced to hide what Ferretstar does to the Clan. Their mentor died before their training was completed so they were given a full name and Hawkflame comes to tutor them twice a moon. Sexuality, appearance and gender up to you.
Newtpoppy: brave former member of IvyClan who tries to help Hawkflame in his investigation after they defect from IvyClan. A little jumpy but is fight over flight. Sexuality, appearance and gender up to you.

Formatting:

This would probably work best with traditional novel formatting but can be done in short story format as well.
