Personality: While the first impression Finchstrike gives off is that of a calm, collected she-cat, simmering under the surface is a seriously feisty she-cat feminist who won't hesitate to show toms that she's just as good as they are. She is one of the best fighters in the Clan, though she's a fairly poor hunter, and she is quite good at running into trouble with her hot-headedness.

Backstory: Finchstrike was named Finchkit simply because it was her mother's favorite food, not according to her coloring, personality, or any relative of hers. Even young, she showed herself to be hot-headed, reckless, and loud. Growing up with all-tom littermates made her a bit of a tomboy, though she refuses to use that term as she is "most definitely a she-cat!". She actually had a crush at one point, and he/she returned interest, but once Finchstrike showed herself to be loud and rambunctious they left. That left quite a bit of tension between the two that is unresolved. However, Finchstrike is unwaveringly loyal and will fight to the death for any one of her Clanmates.
