Description:

Fernstar is drowning under the weight of expectations.

He's expected to do so much-- after all, his mother was the previous leader of RiverClan and his father was one of the strongest fighters the Clans had ever seen. Surely their son would be perfect, would he not?

But Fernstar isn't his mother or father. He wants to stay in the Clan, preserve his lives and be a normal cat.

But that's not exactly easy. His sleep has been plagued of nightmares of drowning, and he fears that it will become a reality.

The true dury of a leader is to be selfless, but Fernstar is far from that.

Fernstar: Main character. Jumpy, nervous, selected to be deputy just because he was Fiercestar's son. Selfish. Terrified of water. Tom. Description up to you.
Mossfur: Fernstar's crush. Happy, enthusiastic, selfless. She-cat. Description up to you.
Fiercestar: Deceased. Fernstar's mother. Brave, fierce, selfless. She-cat. Description up to you.
Mudleap: Deceased. Fernstar's father. Brave, reckless, very protective of RiverClan, would do anything to protect it. Killed in a skirmish. Tom. Description up to you.
Hornetpaw: Mossfur's apprentice. More withdrawn than his/her mentor. Likes food. Only speaks when spoken to. Gender and description up to you.
Pikepounce: Mossfur's overprotective brother/sister. Very concerned about her safety, doesn't want Fernstar anywhere near Mossfur. Gender and description up to you.
