Description:

Chang Lau is dying, and she knows very well that despite what her parents and the doctors insist, no cure will be found in the form of medicines and science. Because what ails her isn't ordinary at all--it's a curse.

She knew she never should have stepped onto that creepy-looking doorstep on a dare. And she definitely shouldn't have entered the house the doorstep belonged to afterward. And she definitely shouldn't have touched the mermaid inside of a glass case in said house.

But what could she say? Lau was an impulsive girl.

And now it's up to her to break out of a hospital, find the mermaid that cursed her, and hope against hope that it can and will cure her before it's too late.

Main Characters:

Chang Lau (Lau): Chinese female with long, slightly wavy hair. INFP. Very impulsive, reckless, but shy with others, thinks with more emotions than logic.

Gao Ren (Ren): Chinese male with slightly wild hair. ESFP. Very outgoing and playful. Lau's companion and possible love interest as she searches for the mermaid that cursed her.

Shaynua: The mermaid that cursed Lau. Has short ginger hair, a tail of the same color, and mesmerizing blue-green eyes
