Song I listened to while writing this chapter: Billie Eilish - Bad guy.

The day for the school trip is today. I look round my room one last time before I drag my self and my box down the stairs. My mum is sitting on a stool by the kitchen island typing something on her laptop. Once she sees me she closes her laptop and walks towards me.

"You sure you packed all you need" She asks trying to collect my box from me but I keep moving it from her.

"Yes mum for the hundredth time" I groan and take my box to the trunk of the car.

The ride to the airport is quite short. My mum kept bringing up things that I might forget. Once she parks the car. I burst out and remove my box running straight to the girls that are sitting on a pavement.

"Really Yon. Really" my mum screams and I run back to her and carry her a little, kissing the top of her head.

"Don't miss me too much" I say to her and she smacks my butt feigning discipline as I run away laughing.

The girls and I walk into the departure lounge and sit talking about everything and anything till we are finally called to board. I haven't seen Dave since and I am so glad. Once I get on my seat beside the window, I fasten my seat belt, put on my sleep mask and earbuds and I wander into Fionaland.

"We've landed Fi" Ella says tapping me.

I wake up and see that almost everyone is out already. I stretch and yawn and we go out together.

"Guy's get yourself in pairs and file into the bus" Our short and bald history teacher Mr Donn instructs and soon every body is scurrying around.

"Els, partners?" I ask Ella and she presses her lips together scratching her hair. "what" I ask confused.

"Uhm. Josh and I kinda want to sit together" She whispers and I laugh at her timid state.

"Aii" I say brushing her off. Just then Josh walks up to us.

"Hey Yon" He smiles at me and I smile at him back. They both walk into the bus together and I sigh.

I turn around to look for the girls and I see Rachael and Miriam talking to a random girl in class and I walk up to them.

"You guys seen Suzy anywhere" I ask them.

"Uhm I think I saw her go in with tattoo guy," Rachael says,

"He has a name you know", Miriam rolls her eyes at Rachael but Rachael just shrugs. 

I groan and walk to the back of the bus to load my box and once I walk back to the bus almost all the seats are taken. I keep walking down to see if I can find a spare seat.

"Fi" I hear my name.

I turn to the angle it came from and see Dave motioning me over. Butterflies fill my tummy and I look around to see if there's somewhere else I could sit. I don't see any so I look back at him and strut towards him.

"Hey" I say as he moves his legs so I can sit inside beside the window.

"Haven't seen you in a while. You been hiding from me?", he smiles at me and I feel hot in my insides. 

Why does he always make me feel like this. I sigh and turn to look out the window. It gets awkward as we don't say anything to each other and soon I'm asleep.

I wake up after a while and I feel an arm draped round me. I try to move and then I notice the position I'm in. Dave is resting his head on my shoulder and his my head is resting on his. I can feel his warm breath on my neck. I look down to see the most beautiful sleeping face I've ever seen. Again with the inner warmth. I decide not to wake him and I brush his hair aside, his hair is really soft. I look around the bus. Most people are either sleeping or have their ears plugged. I look at the back of the bus to see Beatrice shooting daggers with her eyes at me. I cringe and face front again. I look at Dave's face one last time and I sleep off again.

"Fi" I hear Dave's voice and I jump on my seat. He scratches his head looking at me. "We're here" he says. 

"Oh cool" I say and run out of the bus leaving behind a dazed Dave. 

I see the girls standing out side and go meet them. We turn to look at the hotel and  squeal and hug each other. I'm glad I came, at least The girls and I are together. Our teacher gives us a tour round the hotel and shows us our rooms. Ella and I get a room together. Suzy and the random girl I saw talking to Miriam and Rachel earlier get a room and Miriam and Rachael get the same room. Luckily our rooms are right beside each other.

"Guys. There's a hot tub downstairs. I say, we  get into 'em bikinis and get this party started" Ella squeals and that is exactly what we do once we get into our rooms. Change into bikinis and run down to the hot tub before anyone else.
