The next day at school was a blur the only thing I can remember are the constant glares I was getting from Beatrice. I really do not know what her deal is. I mean she has been ignoring me since the beginning of the school term and then Dave comes and all of a sudden Beatrice is every where I look throwing me death stares. I feel like walking up to her and screaming that there's actually nothing between Dave and I. Yeah we hang out and all but it's just cause of the girls not because I'm special or anything and besides I'm sworn off love after what I've seen this past years.But then she isn't worth a sweat on my body so I leave her and shrug of her glares.

I hear my phone ring and  I stand up from my bed to pick it up. Talk of the devil, 

"hey Dave, what's up" I say irritated. I didn't mean to sound like that it's just the fact that he's the cause of Beatrice's glare is frustrating.

"Someone is on her period" he says and I groan 

"did you call to tell me that or is there something you need" I say through gritted teeth. Saying the words in my head seemed calm but when they came out they seemed rude. I just couldn't help it.

"Whoa Yon, I didn't mean to offend you or anything. I just wanted to ask if you wanted to grab a milk shake, but never mind i'll just go alone" he says obviously frustrated by my vibe and I sigh, 

"meet you at bob's in ten" I say and end the call fast before he tries to call it off. 

I stand up and get dressed in a big white tee that has the words "WATCHU LOOKIN AT" in bold prints and I wear a dark blue shorts and my grey sneakers. Grabbing the nearest beanie I could find I rush out of the house screaming to my mum or whoever was in the house that I'm heading out and I walk down to bobs. 

I see Dave sitting and laughing while talking to a girl. She has her back to me and I cant make out her face. I get irritated a bit but i brush it off, yonnnnn you don't have a reason to be irritated. I contemplate going back home since he has company already but before I can turn Dave's eyes catches mine and he grins waving me over. I suck it up and walk up to him. Getting there i see that the girl he was talking to was Beatrice.

"Well well well, look who decided to join us" she says and I grit my teeth,

"look, I thought you had some important reason for calling me out but it seems like you have company already" I say eyeing Dave and I walk away without looking back. I hear him call my name but I don't answer. Soon I have a strong muscular hand holding me back. Dave's hand is warm and I get a tingling sensation in the pit of my stomach which I brush off. 

"What do you want from me" I hiss dragging my arm from his hold. 

"I didn't mean for Beatrice to walk up to me and sit with me. I can't shoo her away Yon, she's human and I don't treat people like shit especially when I have no reason to" he says to me slightly annoyed and I can't help but feel like a cord in my heart has been ripped off.

 "She's human! she's human!, are you even my friend, I doubt  it cause if you are then you wouldn't associate yourself with her. You know what, do whatever you want. I don't bloody care" I scream at him.

"Maybe if you'd tell me what she did to you I'd know if I should associate myself with her" he shouts back and I flinch,

"what ever Dave, think you can just walk into school and try to get your way through every girls pant acting like Mr goody two shoes. But you know what, fuck you, fuck Beatrice, I don't care, have a nice life" I shout at him.

I see hurt flash through his eyes but I don't care. I plug my ears and walk away. If Dave was my friend then he wouldn't be talking to Beatrice whether I had told him what happened or not. I expect him to come after me but he doesn't and I get more angry at him.
