FOURTEEN

Aaaron
Aaron wake up for goodness's sake coach is going to kill us for being late to training. Get a move on you manslug!" Luke shouted and finally kicked his sleeping roommate off his bed.
"Ow what the fu-"
"Nope no swearing in the morning Mr Smith your mother would be ashamed! And no time for sulking either, get in your gym clothes and brush your hair for the love of God you look like hell." Continued Luke in a cheery tone.
"You sleep way too much anyways, what are you? A hibernating Grizzli bear? He laughed softly.
Aaron finally stood up and streched his back muscles staring Luke dead in the eye. The blond boy stopped laughing.
Uh oh seemed like the bear was pissed now.
"I sleep alot because I'm still growing dumbass." Grunted Aaron as he ran a hand through his copper hair.
"But you wouldn't know that because you're so short." He added with a grin.
Luke was cut to the quick.
"Hey that's not true, my height is perfectly normal you're just disproportionnate!" He crossed his arms pretending to be mad.
"5'11 isn't that tall anyway you're such a showoff"
"Whatever you say Princess." replied Aaron in a bored tone, sliding his shirt over his head. Luke caught a glimpse of a tanned strip of skin just above his waistline and turnd his head away, cheeks warming up.
"Stop calling me that and move it, I don't want to run extra laps because of you!"
"Yeah I'm coming jeez, calm down you idiot."
They arrived twenty minutes late and ended up running extra laps.
"I hate you!" spat Luke, feeling his lungs burning and his heart thumping at a deathly rate.
Aaron being the golden boy he was just laughed. The laps haden't affected him one bit and seeing Luke angry was just like seeing a kitten meowling in indignation. It was just to fun and so easy to rile him up.
Luke huffed in annoyance and stomped away grumbling. Aaron still laughing trailed close behind him, shaking his head. That boy really was something. Sometimes just seeing him was enough to want to annoy him. And damn what a perfectly shapped as-
"Aaron stop staring at my butt please it's getting awkward."
Aaron shook his head and Luke raised his eyebrows. His roommate was weird sometimes.
He was still a bit upset at him for some unknown reason. Well, Aaron didn't want to admit it but he had felt a strange and unpleasant feeling when they were at the theater and Luke's eyes weren't following him like they always did.
He shrugged the feeling off. That idiot was making him weird. He really needed a drink. He wasn't allowed to drink before so he tried to enjoy it as much as he could. To tell the truth, Aaron didn't really like alcohol. He didn't like the happy feelings it bought, nor the way it made him loose control, especially around a person in particular. But it made him forget.
He sighed, his reputation was more important than his tastebuds anyway.
"Hey dumbass are you going to Mike's party tonight?" He adressed his roommate once he exited the shower.
Luke looked at him, debating on wether or not he should go and end up shit drunk, have to drag Aaron back to his bed, undress him and stare at his perfect bod-
"No. I don't want to carry your drunk ass back to the dorm, you're as heavy as a dead cow when you pass out." He quickly shoved his thoughts aside.
"Yeah right, between you and me we know who is the light weight." Shrugged Aaron with a laugh.
"Hey! I can hold my alcohol perfectly fine thank you. Just go to that party alone. I'm tired, I'll sleep as soon as class ends. Class to which I will be late once again because of you" He added in a hurry, as he finished buttoning his white shirt.
"And here I thought I was the one sleeping to much." Mumbled Aaron.
"Whatever, suit yourself grandpa" He muttered under his breath as Luke slammed the wooden door shut.
"I heard that asshole!" He replied his voice muffled by the door.
Aaron chuckled and finished dressing up in his own uniform. He left the top two buttons undone, taking his time to stare at his reflexion in the small mirror sitting on the cupboard.
He messed one last time with his hair and headed out just as the bell rung. Well he was for sure late again today.

When it was finally dinner time, Luke was grumpy. He was exhausted from his laps, hungry and angry at Aaron who had bothered him a good portion of the day in class. He was on the verge of snapping.
Trey noticed that his friend was a little tense and decided to give him his space and wait for him to come around. He watched Ash from the corner of the eye. The tall boy had gotten quite comfortable around them and dinners seemed almost normal now. They ate silently and Luke was secretly grateful for it.
"I really hate him." He finally said slamming his head in his hands.
Trey smiled as he put down his spoon.
"Who do you not hate?" He replied cheekily.
"Ugh you know exactly who I'm talking about. And I don't hate everyone... Just a lot of people.
But seriously, he has to be the biggest jerk and idiot I have ever met. Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to a toddler, it's exhausting. And the guy has no sense of personal space. He steals my clothes all the time and I'm sure that he uses my toothbrush. That's gross."
"Oh yeah, he seems like a handful..." Replied Trey softly.
"Okay Deans stop whining I've had enough." Sighed Ash in a bored tone.
"Hey! I wasn't even talking to you. Why don't you just go and kill puppies like you usually d-"
"But actually there's one thing I don't understand." Ash cut him and watched with mild satisfaction Luke's facing turning red as he tried to not explode in the middle of the cafeteria.
" Yeah, see, I don't understand: if you hate the guy so much why have you been babbling about him since we sat down?" He continued one eyebrow slightly raised in faked incomprehension, a smirk adorning his lips.
Luke was about to rip the boy's head off with his bear hands when he heard a muffled chuckle.
He turned his head slowly and caught Trey trying to contain a laugh behind his small hands.
Luke sat back down
"What're you laughing at anyway?"
He grumbled.
"Ashton is kind of right." He confessed sheepishly.
"I just didn't want to say it but you were speaking about him all day..."
"Whatever, I'm going to my dorm, you're insufferable. Both of you." Replied Luke his cheeks flushing red. He got up and dumped his tray in the trash as two pairs of eyes followed him.
Trey looked at Ash and whispered
"Wasn't that a little mean?"
"Don't worry he's seen worse, he'll get over it." He replied.
***
It was around two in the morning when Luke, who had just finished an essay due for the next day realized he didn't have any clean pair of socks left for tomorrow.
Whatever, he would just borrow a pair from Aaron. He wouldn't even notice it.
Luke opened Aaron's drawer and pulled out a pair of socks. He was just about to close it when something reflected the light and caught his eye. He opened the drawer wide and pushed the socks and underwear aside.
And at the bottom, he saw dusty medals and cups.
Of course. How could he have forgotten? He knew what these were. They belonged to Aaron. He had seen them before by accident and when he had asked the other boy about it he had lashed out, screaming at him not to go through his stuff. Luke hadn't talked to him for a whole week after that.
And when Aaron finally apologized (in his own way) and Luke asked him about them, he simply told him that he had been offered a place in the olympics before but he had to turn it down.
Nothing else.
At the time, Luke hadn't pushed any further and had easily forgotten about them, but now, the curiosity gnawed at him. Why hide these many victories from everyone? Aaron clearly enjoyed running. Even if he had to turn down an incredible opportunity, that didn't mean he couldn't be proud of everything he had achieved.
Luke rummaged through the drawer some more and his fingers suddenly touched what felt like old paper. Frowning he took the object out and his eyes widened.
It was a newspaper article that had been cut out. But what was it doing here?
He was just reading the tittle: Enraged future Olympic champion threatens the lives of his teammates, when suddenly, he heard the lock turn. He put everything back as someone barged into the dorm.
He didn't even have to look up to know that an incredibly intoxicated Aaron was standing in the doorway, eyes closed and hands resting on the top of it to support his weight.
Luke sighed in relief. His roommate was probably so intoxicated that he hadn't seen him hastily shove the newspaper in his back pocket.
Well, it seemed like he was putting Aaron to bed after all tonight.
"Okay dude come here." He grumbled as he brought Aaron's arm over his shoulders to drag him to his bed. But Aaron was heavier than him and once Luke turned around to close the door, the taller boy slipped to the floor, his back against the wall and his legs spread in front of him.
"You have got to be kidding me" mumbled Luke under his breath. "Hey Aaron get up you're too heavy, I can't lift you on my own."
Aaron grunted in response, got up and bent his body slightly so he was towering over Luke. The blond boy gulped, he had some sense of déjà vu and he didn't like it.
Drunk Aaron was even less predictable than the sober one.
The copper haired boy took a step forward and Luke was forced to move, his back hitting the wall. He was a little panicked but Aaron did nothing, just stared right at him. Luke gulped again, two predatory amber eyes were boring through his and he felt paralyzed.
Had Aaron seen him?
The shadow of his desk lamp made Aaron's face more angular. His jawline stoop out more and his cheeks appeared hollow. He got even closer and Luke's hands pressed against his chest to prevent him from getting too close. But Aaron was having none of it. He gently slid his larger hands over Luke's and made them drop to the smaller boy's sides.
Luke's heartbeat was going wild and he couldn't think straight. What the hell was happening to him?
Aaron's arms slowly slid over Luke's and made their way to his shoulders, finally resting on them and letting their warmth seep through Luke's thin cotton shirt.
"Aaron. What are you doing?" He whispered, his voice coming out strangled when Aaron's musky scent hit him.
"Quiet. Just stay quiet." Replied Aaron in a deep voice that made Luke's hairs stand on his arms. He shivered unconsciously and almost sighed in relief, Aaron hadn't seen him after all.
Aaron brought his face even closer to Luke's, his head angled slightly, the bridge of his nose almost brushing Luke's soft cheek. Luke was about to push him away again when suddenly,
the light went out leaving the two boys in complete darkness.
Luke instantly panicked. He didn't do well in the dark and Aaron hovering over him wasn't really helping. He grabbed onto Aaron's open shirt to try and pry him away his mind running in circles and his breath labored.
But his wild thoughts were suddenly interrupted when he felt Aaron's finger trace his cheekbone. He stopped dead, unable to move as the other boy skimmed his skin.
Aaron wasn't thinking straight and his mind was foggy due to the alcohol but, he remembered that Luke despised the dark and that he always slept with his desk lamp on. He absentmindedly traced the other boy's face, running his thumbs over the smooth skin in order to calm his erratic heartbeat.
And then, the moonlight slowly filtered through the small window illuminating the pair. Aaron's eyes widened, Luke was still against the wall, but his eyes were now closed, his breathing regular and his cheeks red. Deep red.
Aaron chuckled lowly as he noticed that Luke's hands were still on his shirt but rather than pushing him away, they were grasping on it tightly almost pulling him in.
Luke's mind was a puddle. He didn't dare open his eyes because he knew that Aaron was staring right back at him and this time his hands were gently rested on the sides of his face.
"Luke." Aaron's deep voice filled his ears and he shivered again. "Look at me. Now" He ordered. Luke couldn't fight it any longer and complied, opening his eyes.
He gasped.
Aaron had somehow gotten even closer and the moon made his eyes shine. He had a very calm expression adorning his chiseled face, like he knew exactly what he was doing. Aaron smiled and pressed his forehead to Luke's, moving his hands to the blond haired boy's pale neck.
Luke felt somehow reassured now that Aaron was standing so close to him and silent for once. He closed his eyes again and sighed.
"I'm okay, you can let me go now."
"Aar-" He started in a questioning tone. But was interrupted by Aaron's breath hitting his lips.
He shut his eyes even tighter and stood deadly still. He knew what was coming but he didn't know why Aaron would do it.
Again.
Finally, Aaron's soft lips gently pressed against his. He slowly molded them against Luke's, kissing him deeper. Luke felt as if someone had hooked him on a power generator. He felt so alive with just on kiss and still couldn't wrap his head around what was happening. He instantly forgot about the dark.
Aaron nipped at his lower lip demanding for entrance and Luke let out a small gasp. Aaron slid his velvet tongue in the other boy's mouth and hummed with content. Luke tasted as sweet as the last time he had kissed him, and it was intoxicating.
Way better tasting than any alcohol or candy.
Luke melted in Aaron's arms and threaded his hands through his hair. He couldn't stop, each of his senses were on fire and stopping to catch his breath was the last of his concerns.
Finally Aaron broke the kiss, allowing both of them to breath. He leaned in again and dropped butterfly kisses on Luke's forehead, his nose, his jawline and finally the spot on his neck just beneath his ear. He then slowly pressed Luke's legs appart with his knee and brushed his most sensitive area.
Luke felt sparkles of pleasure travel through his whole body and let out a breathy moan; then slapped his hands on his mouth. Had that sound really come out of his mouth?
He couldn't believe it. He was getting very sensitive to Aaron and didn't know what to think about it. He slowly pushed the taller boy away and Aaron complied. Luke walked hastily to his bed and pulled the covers over his head, his eyes still wide open and cheeks fire red. How dare he!
Aaron stood in the dark for a moment playing the events in his head again and again, a smile forming on his lips. He finally walked to his bed and dropped face first on the mattress. He stole a glance at Luke's form under the covers and chuckled.
That boy made some cute noises.
