The trailer park.
They drove out of the city when Shealynn said "You know I really don't like clowns.". Carolyn was about to laugh when she saw Shea's face. She was deadly serious. "It's fine" said Carolyn. "I don't like spiders and they can't even hurt me."
After some time Carolyn and Shealynn reached a trailer park. "There should be clues here". Said Carolyn. "There'd better be some bloody clues here". Said Shealynn. "Clowns are just people with an excessive amount of make-up on their face". Snickered Carolyn. "And I'm also here to protect you". Along with mister Smith and mister Wesson". She held up her gun. They got out of their car and walked past the first trailers. They reached one that was painted in hot pink and rainbow colored flowers. "Number 15". Said Carolyn. "That's the one". They knocked on the front door. "Hang on". Said a voice from the inside. They heard a loud thud, then the door was opened. A young woman opened the door. She was around her 20's guessed Shealynn. She was wearing a grey T-shirt and blue skinny jeans. However they were covered in pink. "Good morning." Said the woman. "How can I help you"? "We were referred to you by miss Jackson". Said Carolyn. "I don't know a miss Jackson, but then I only moved here last week." The woman who used to live here died a few months ago". "Did you know her or anyone who might know miss Jackson"? Asked Shea. "Well she had some stuff left in boxes. They're underneath the trailer". Said the woman. "Are you the police?" She asked. "No just private investigators." Said Carolyn. "I'm Carolyn Wickstrand and this is Shealynn van Zee". They shook the woman's hand. "Michaela Xavier". She replied. "Do you mind if we take a look at the boxes?" Asked Carolyn. "You can take them for all I care." Said Michaela. "I was gonna throw them away if no one claimed them in a week. "Cool paint work." Said Shea while pointing at the wall. "Really?" Said Michaela. "I was gonna paint it white and blue. Beachy vibes, you know." "There's candy stuck to the flowers, it's kinda weird." She proceeded to say. "That is weird." Said Carolyn as she examined the wall more closely. "Why did you want to live here?" Asked Shea. "Did you know the previous owner?" "I know her grandson." Said Michaela. "But he didn't really care about the boxes or the trailer." "It's cheap." She continued. "And I'm saving for a bigger house. I used to travel with the circus that sometimes comes here, and I have fond memories of this place." Carolyn and Shealynn looked up at the same time. "The circus?" Asked Carolyn. "Did you hear about a girl who went missing a few years ago? There was a trail leading to this particular circus." Added Shea. "I did." Said the woman. "But can I tell you in the morning? It's late, and I still need to finish some unpacking tonight." "I understand." Said Carolyn. "Here is our card, it has out phone number on it. Call us if you need to tonight." "I will." Said the woman. "Are you guys available at 10 in the morning tomorrow?" She asked. "I'd like to visit then." "That works for me." Said Shealynn. Off course this didn't sound very professional and Carolyn gave her an angry glare. "I'll see you then, goodnight." Said the woman. Then she closed the door after she told them not to forget the boxes. There were 3, so Carolyn made Shea carry them as she opened the trunk. "Let's go home babe." Said Shealynn after she punched Carolyn's shoulder. Then she pulled her in for a quick kiss before they got into the car.
