Charles
Shealynn carried the boxes out of the car. "You could help me." She snapped at Carolyn. "No I really can't." Said Carolyn. "My arms are tired from driving". They reached the living room, and crashed on the couch. After a few minutes the doorbell rang. "Not it!" Said Shealynn fast. Carolyn sighed and walked around the boxes, Shea had dumped in the middle of the room. "Who would ring the doorbell this late in the evening." She muttered. Shealynn carefully followed her and peaked around the corner of the hallway. Carolyn shook her head and opened the door. She was impressed by the sight of the young man standing in front of the door.
"What can I do for you fine man?" She asked. It's a good thing I'm taken, because you don't look that bad." She continued. This made the man look rather awkward and it made Shea run out of her corner. "Good evening." She said while putting her arm on Carolyn's shoulder. "Good evening." Said the man. "I'm Charles." He shook their hand. "I was sent here by Michaela Xavier. "The woman who you were asking about is my grandmother." They invited him in after which the doorbell rang again. It was Michaela. When she entered the room Charles sat up, and they greeted each other friendly. "I understand you know each other." Said Carolyn. "Charles is a good friend of mine." Explained Michaela. Shea stood up, to bring the guests some tea, as Carolyn urged them to tell their story. " I have gotten 'warnings' from a certain lady, who thinks that I kidnapped her daughter. But I don't know anything about her daughter, and I think I'm about to be framed for something." Michaela held his hand tightly, and Carolyn wondered if they were truly just friends. "Are you both part of the circus?" "Charles rides the horses, said Michaela, I'm not a part of the circus though. I'm a freelance writer. It allows me to follow the circus and Charles. She said as she smiled at him.
