[who are you really?]

FRANKENSTEIN
39 | Who are you really?

"OKAY, I have literally tried every trick in the book and nothing is working!" My voice screamed in frustration.

I watched in amazement as an image of myself paced along, running her hands through her hair. Looking around all I could see was white, the only figures in sight was copycat, and myself.

"Hey listen, copycat. I am done with this, you either tell me why your here - or else..." I trailed off not knowing what to threaten her with.

Copycat looked at me unimpressed, letting out a humorless laugh. "Or else what? If you haven't noticed, we are the exact same. Nothing you can do will hurt me." She sasses at me, popping her hip out.

Before I could reply, she suddenly began sniffing the air really loudly. I looked at her with a disturbed expression - as she sniffed about. "That's weird, stop." I told her, taking a disgusted step back from myself.

It made it even worse ,that she looked exactly like me doing this. I shuddered making a mental note to never sniff like that.

"Have you lost our virginity?" She ignored my previous comment, looking to me wide-eyed. "You did, didn't you! Oh, this is just great - our soulmate made love to us and he doesn't even know who we truly are!" She cried frustrated. "Fan-fucking-tastic!"

"Our mate?" I asked, lowly.
I wasn't too keen on sharing Aro.

"Don't get your panties in a twist, I'm you and your me - it's just a matter of time at this point before we're combined. Put some clothes on by the way, I don't like seeing myself naked from this perspective." Copycat sighed.

A chair suddenly appeared behind her and she sat down. I was confused as to what she was talking about until I could see I had no clothes on. I squeaked attempting to cover myself from her, earning a snort in reply.

"Are you kidding me right now? You are seriously trying to cover your naked glory, from yourself. Stop being over dramatic." I felt offended by her words, looking at her with furrowed brows.

"You would do the same." I defended, awkwardly covering my breast and bringing my leg over in a sad attempt at hiding my vagina.

She raised an eyebrow leaning back in her seat. In an instant her clothes disappeared and there I was staring at my copy, stark-naked. She was right, it is weird to see yourself from this perspective.

"Okay, I see your point, just put your clothes back on!" She snickered, before her clothes were on her again.

I quickly imagined myself in pajama's, hoping it would work. Luckily, it did as I was soon covered by warm pajama's. With a sigh I looked around at the white, there was seriously nothing here.

"Where are we?"

"In the deepest parts of our mind. One of the parts which the damn chip is blocking, I have been trying for over a year to get past it. God, I hate uncle Patrick - I swear once we're combined, I will kill him." She growled the last part, dangerously.

"Uncle Patrick? And, what do you mean by 'combined'?" I crinkled my nose at the last part.

"Excuse me, I mean't 'Dr. Carson'. And combined meaning, memories. I am your memories, I am who you are. As soon as we are combined - we will be complete. No more blank spaces, no more confusion or fear." She said, with a large smile.

"My memories?" I asked, softly.

"Yep." She popped the 'P'.

~

Who am I? Did I truly know that answer, considering every single thing about me comes from the government. Even my own name was false. Yes, my creator named me - but legally speaking I had no name. Just a code, F2935.

Aro woke me up earlier in order to tell me he had to attend a court session. I waved him off going back to sleep afterward. Here, I now stood three hours later, wandering the corridors bored. Miranda, Chelsea, and Alexander were all being punished by needing to guard for the next one hundred sixty-eight straight. The only exception being for the hybrids to have bathroom, food, and six hour sleep breaks.

"Watch this." Demetri's voice suddenly spoke in my ear.

"AHHHHH!" I screamed so loud I think I burst my own ear drum.

Out of pure instinct I whirled around, sending Demetri's body launching up in the air and hitting the ceiling hard. His body came back to the ground, hitting it so hard that the stone ground cracked. He remained frozen on the ground, looking to the ceiling wide-eyed. The cracks in his cheeks, slowly started to come together again.

I leaned down placing my hands on knees trying to catch my breath. "Holy shit, what happened?" Felix questioned, appearing out of thin air - Heidi beside him staring at me worriedly.

"That was terrifying." I hoarsely whispered, Demetri turning his head from where he lay on the ground to look at me exasperated.

"For you or me? Because I just got tossed into the ceiling, and I feel like I am going to be traumatized for the rest of my life immortality." Demetri, stated as he stood up.

"Ha!" Felix pointed to Demetri, laughing loudly.

Heidi elbowed his side, glaring at him. She cleared her throat before turning to me. "The entire throne room heard the commotion and master Aro sent us to check on you." Heidi explained.

"You could hear me all the way from there?" I rose an eyebrow shocked.

"Vampires have extremely acute hearing. I mean I can guarantee everybody from the throne room is listening in now, considering all they're doing is going through mail." Heidi shrugged, looking downward.

"Hey Felix, the floor is lava." Demetri smirks at Felix.

Felix quickly looked around, panicked - Demetri laughing at me. "Five, four..." Demetri began counting.

"Screw you." Felix said, before leaping in Heidi's arms.

Heidi stood, looking odd holding the man who was twice her size with no effort. She glared at him, him only giving her an apologetic look in return. Demetri fell over laughing, me needing to cover my mouth to stop the giggles.

With a huff, Heidi dropped Felix him landing roughly on his ass. Heidi stomped away her heels clicking as she left, Felix stood up delivering one last glare to Demetri who was on the ground laughing. He walked after Heidi, attempting to apologize her only ignoring him in response.

"So, what do you so around here for entertainment, I haven't been with you alone yet?" I curiously asked, silencing hinting him to stop my boredom.

"Usually, I'm with Felix or Alexander in our free time - but since they are on duty, I suppose we'll need to find something else to do." Demetri gave me a mischievous look.

"What do you have in mind?"

"Follow me." Nothing ever comes good from those type of responses.

"I don't understand how you are so good at this!" Demetri exclaimed, frustrated.

"I don't either." I said back, spinning at hitting the dance move precisely.

Demetri had introduced me to Just Dance 2017, which was placed in one of the guards common rooms. So far we had done five dances, and I was proud to say that I had creamed him every single time. Demetri yelled when the dance ended and I won once more.

"Hey, Demetri, what happened at the party after I passed out?" I questioned him, seeing his irritation morph into amusement.

"Well, after the negative reaction you had to the drugs, Aro picked you up and carried you the rest of the way. Renesmee and Jacob attempted at running away but they were stopped. It was funny because it wasn't Edward that stopped them, but Bella - I don't think I've ever seen her so enraged. She was all like 'I'm going to fucking kill him!' Then, she charged at Jacob, it took both Demetri and I to hold her back. She is one strong vampire." Demetri admired, with a small smile. "Aro had us assist her back to her room, and then we met them at the car - so that's about all I know." Demetri stated, before his eye's caught sight of the score board.

"I can't believe this!" Demetri cried in anger.

On the television score board were the top five scores of the day. Every single one said my name, as if mocking Demetri. Demetri yelled, tugging at his hair.

"Wow, even my talent can't block out all this suffering." Alec said flatly, staring at the scene before him.

Jane stood next to him looking equally as blank. Though, if you looked close enough you could see the curiosity lurking under both their gazes.

"You try to beat her, it's impossible." Demetri flung himself on the sofa.

"Maybe you just naturally suck?" Jane sneered, at him earning a hiss in return.

"Fine." Demetri said, standing up and turning on a new dance.

This dance was specifically made for four people. Two females, two males. Jane and Alec looked at him with raised brows.

"What? Afraid to lose?" Demetri challenged, earning a hiss from both twins.

To my surprise they both came next to us, seemingly ready to play. As soon as the hip-hop song started, I was in first, Jane in second, Alec was third close to his sister, Demetri in last causing him to yell.

"This isn't fair, Aro worships the ground you two walk on! You're practically his children at this point. He probably trained you to beat everyone here. And you," He directed this sentence to me. "Are the most important thing to him, he probably trained you even better than he did to them!"

"You are making Aro sound like a paranoid psychopath." Alec stated, smirking at Demetri's quick losing pace.

"That's is because he is a paranoid psychopath!" Demetri yelled out, anger lacing his tone.

"He sure does put the 'hot' in 'psychotic' though." I shrugged, earning an almost silent laugh from Jane.

Finally, the dance ended, myself winning, Jane coming in second, Alec in a close third, and Demetri in an obvious last. "You better hope master skips over that in our thoughts, he won't appreciate you insulting him as such." Jane said, scarily to Demetri.

"Yeah, but Frankie called him hot so I'm sure he forget all about the insult and be stuck in nasty thoughts about getting it on with her." Demetri said bluntly, making Alec sigh and shake his head.

"You know Jane and I were turned at age fifteen, and you were changed at age twenty-three. Is there any reason we act like adults compared to you." Alec glared.

Before he could respond, a sudden buzzing noise came from all of our pockets. We looked around confused before checking our phones. I never really noticed Jane or Alec using their phones, nor have I seen Demetri - so it was odd seeing them with cellular devices.
