Vietnam

March/28/1975-

We Are Nearing the End Of This War. Hopefully I Can Go Back Home.

April/1/1975-

We are at a standstill. Why Are we even out here? I Just saw one of my friends get blown to bits by an enemy Landmine. But I Didn't even notice when the dust cleared. I Just Kept shooting into the Jungle.

April/17/1975-

I'm leaving the Base Now. I'm being called back to another base.

8 Hours Later-

I've been assigned to another partner. His Name Is Nick Fury. A Big Black Guy. He seems to be able to handle himself. I Think we're going to be good friends.

April/26/1975-

We're Being Pushed Back

April/30/1975-

The War Is Finally Over. But They keep pushing. We Have To Leave NOW...

As soon as I finished writing this there was an explosion in the hallway just a few feet from my room.

I Quickly put the book in my pocket and ran for my gun.

As soon as I picked up my gun Nick came into the room with a wound on his forehead.

His right hand is on his eye with blood seeping out of the cloth he has in his hand.

But I Noticed his left hand more.

His gun was there but there was no mag in it. He has no mags on himself as well.

I Ran to his side and held him up.

I Asked him, "What the Hell Happened?!"

He Just Shakes his head.

I Hear more screaming and gunshots.

I Know what's here.

I was questioning myself even if I knew if we could get out of here.

A carry him to the door and yank his gun out of his hands.

I Tell Him to take mine and he does so.

I Nod pulling him through the door.

As soon as we walked out of that room I knew it has been as I feared.

The Vietcong are here.

I then turn to see everyone running for a helicopter.

I Then start to pull Nick towards the chopper.

He starts shooting behind us with one hand still on the wound.

He's definitely not seeing out of that eye ever again.

But then the chopper starts to take off.

I Yell but nothing changes.

They leave us behind.

I pull him behind the helipad.

At least it's something to keep us from getting shot.

We have to find another way out of this Hell Hole.

Then he points weakly to our left.

It's a boat dock but yet no one took any of the boats.

Thank God for the United States Navy.

I Start to pull him to the dock.

Bullets fly past us.

One hits my Arm.

I Feel an Intense Heat but I Just knew I Had to get Him out of there.
